Learning High Mathematics on MathCad Base

  • Nowadays application of modem achievements of information technologies in science, engineering and education is usual phenomenon. Application of these technologies allows easily creating new methods of learning of mathematics. More of new methods of creation of multimedia electronic manuals on high mathematics are founded to application of multimedia and communication opportunities of the computer. But application only multimedia and communication opportunities of the computer at creation of multimedia electronic manuals on high mathematics is insufficient to elimination of 'gap' between training and studying high mathematics. So, we offer a new way of the decision of this problem: creation of a multimedia electronic manual on high mathematics with built-in a mathematical environment MathCad in the national language.

사출제품 및 금형의 통합적 설계지원을 위한 지식형 CAD 시스템 (A Knowledge-based CAD System for product and Mold Design in Injection Molding)

  • The design of injection molded polymeric parts has been done empirically, since it requires profound knowledge about the moldability and causal effects on the properties of the part, which are not available to designers through current CAD systems. An interactive computer-based design system is developed in order to realize the concept of rational design for the productivity and quality of mold making. The knowledge-based CAD system is constructed by adding the knowledge -base module for mold feature synthesis and appropriate CAE programs for mold design analysis in order to provide designers, at the initial design stage, with comprehensive process knowledge for feature synthesis, performance analysis and feature-based geometric modeling. A knowledge-based CAD system is a new tool which enables the concurrent design with integrated and balanced design decisions at the initial design stage of injection molding.

플랫폼에 독립적인 3D 신발 캐드 시스템의 설계 (Design of Platform Independent 3D Shoe CAD System)

  • 캐드(CAD) 시스템은 우리가 사용하는 대부분의 산업 제품을 제작하는데 필수적으로 사용되고 있는 중요한 기술로 알려져 있다. 캐드 기술은 컴퓨터 그래픽스 기술의 발달과 더불어 상업용 3차원 캐드 시스템으로 영역을 확장해 나가고 있다. 특히, 신발제조와 같은 특수한 영역의 캐드 시스템들도 3차원 캐드로 발전해 나가고 있다. 그러나 캐드 소프트웨어의 개발의 어려움으로 인해 소수의 메이저급 캐드 소프트웨어 회사를 제외하고는 대부분이 3차원 개념을 제공하는 AutoCAD에 종속적인 소프트웨어를 개발하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 실제의 작업 현장에서 일하는 많은 신발 캐드 디자이너들은 직접 신발 디자인을 종이에 그리는 교육을 받아 3차원 캐 보다는 2차원 캐드에 더 익숙하고, 작업 효율도 훨씬 뛰어남을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현장 실무자들의 작업 방식과 3차원 캐드 소프트웨어가 주는 장점을 결합한 3차원 신발 캐드 시스템을 설계 할 것이다. 본 시스템은 다른 신발 캐드 시스템들과 달리 OpenGL을 기반으로 하여 어느 플랫폼에서 잘 작동하도록 설계할 것이다. 또한 3차원 신발 설계 시스템에서 가장 중요한 부분인 3차원 캐드데이터와 2차원 캐드 데이터의 호환 방법을 제시하고, 다양한 크기의 신발 제작에 필수적인 여러 할출(grading) 기법을 제시할 것이다.

국내 산업체에서의 CAD/CAM 시스템 활용현황

  • 80년대부터 국내에 도입된 CAD/CAM시스템은 금형 및 관련 제조업체, 자동차 제조업체, 플랜트 /조선업체 등에서도 제도, 설계 및 설계해석용, CAM을 이용한 NC 가공용 등으로 적용되고 있다. 그러나 CAD/CAM 시스템을 판매업체의 불충분한 교육과 아프터 서비스가 아직 미흡하여, 시 스템 사용업체의 경우 시스템 활용기술 부족, 기술인력 부족 등의 이유로 활용도가 높지 못하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 많은 업체들이 CAD/CAM 도입을 본격적으로 준비하고 있으며, 93년의 경우 90년에 비해 사용자수가 2배가 되리라는 전망이다. 많은 업체의 경우 인원절감, 시간단축, 경비 절감 등의 비용효과와 정밀도/정확도 효과 등의 업무수준 향상 효과를 기대하며 추진하고 있으나 표준화, 관리의 체계화 효과 및 기업이미지 개선, 직원의식 수준 향상 등의 상징적 효과도 크다고 볼 수 있다. 국내에 CAD/CAM 시스템 보급을 촉진하기 위해서는 소프트웨어의 한글화 작업이 이루어져야 하고 분야별로 다양한 데이터베이스가 구축되어야 할 것이며, 가격이 저렴하고 속 도가 빠른 형상 모델링 기술발전이 요구된다. 끝으로, 우리 실정에 맞는 CAD/CAM 소프트웨어의 국산화 작업이 우리가 풀어야 하는 최대 과제라 할 수 있다.

의류관련학과의 어패럴 CAD교육실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Educational Situation of Apparel CAD of Clothing Related Department)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate, analyze, and consider the feature and practical situation of Apparel CAD education and distribution situation of CAD system so that CAD education can be effectively operated and managed in various kinds of relevant schools and universities. 32 colleges and universities that are performing CAD educational system are selected for the study. The author of the study has investigated and obtained the information through questionnaires to 32 professors who are in charge of CAD lectures and 301 students who are receiving CAD education. The result is as follows. 1. It showed that 62.5% of CAD educational systems have been practically introduced after 1995. Regarding the using system, YUKA occupies 46.9%, PAD 21.8%, and GERBER 18.8% and these three kinds of system have been chiefly supplied. 40.6% of them own only one system, 37.5% of them own 2~5 systems and 78% of them own less than 5 systems. 2. The most seriously pointed problems during the operation of CAD system were the lack of experimental materials and the frustration of manpower supply. Thus, the CAD education programs in schools and universities are practiced in inferior environments internally and externally. 3. Regarding the practical situation of CAD education, 28 among 32 schools and universities are performing CAD as one of the regular subjects for the curriculum. 4. Regarding satisfaction degree of the using system, professors showed higher satisfaction degree than students did. In conclusion, it showed that although the practical situations of CAD education in schools and universities have been changed and improved so much since 1995 owing to the increase of the positive recognition of the necessity of CAD, many students in the educational sites cannot study their favorite subjects related with CAD program with interest due to the lack of experimental facilities, the poor computer management systems, and the problems of manpower supply, etc.

패션디자인 CAD의 온라인 교육 방법 연구 - 포토샵, 일러스트레이터, 텍스프로 프로그램을 중심으로 - (Online pedagogical strategies of a fashion design CAD course - Focused on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Texpro programs -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest effective online pedagogical strategies for a fashion design CAD course to enhance student learning and satisfaction. The study investigated student experience of online learning and compared online learning with a face-to-face learning experience. Student concentration, participation, perceptions of effectiveness of teaching, utilization of learning materials, and satisfaction were analyzed using a 5-point Likert scale. Advantages and disadvantages of online learning as well as advantages of face-to-face learning were also analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Student concentration, participation, and perception of effectiveness of teaching were greater for face-to-face learning with significantly higher concentration on individual practice. Students utilized video recording of synchronous online lectures more actively than PDF lecture notes. The advantages of face-to-face learning were plentiful communication and feedback and easy questioning process as well as high levels of understanding and concentration. Meanwhile, major disadvantages of online learning were the speed of the lecture, lower levels of understanding and concentration, limited peer interaction, and technical problems. Major advantages of online learning were flexibility and convenience, repetitive learning through videos, and instant communication and feedback. Students preferred a blended learning approach for the fashion design CAD course. For effective online learning, it is suggested that instructors frequently question and check student practice through screen share in a private online meeting room and engage activities that are demanding of student interaction. The video recording of synchronous online lectures is also suggested as a supplemental learning material for repetitive learning.

의류학 전공학생의 어패럴 패턴 CAD에 대한 인지도 및 교육효과에 관한 조사연구 (Investigation on the Education Effect and Recognition of Apparel Pattern CAD System on the Apparel Majority Student)

  • The purpose of this study is to observe the teaching method and cognition process in using the PAD, Lectra and Investronica pattern CAD system. It is necessary to gather information about apparel pattern CAD to enable clothing and textile educators to efficiently incorporate CAD into their curricula and to provide more substantial information. Interviews and questionnaires were used in the research and twenty four questionnaires were used for data analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Students thought that new technology such as apparel pattern CAD is important in the apparel industry, and they have a positive vision toward such innovation. 2) Student who study harder during in CAD class worked easily of all PAD, Investronica and Lectra system. 3) The most preferred teaching method is to small group instruction by the instructor and then having feedback from the instructor. 4) Students realized that they needed to take prerequisites subjects like clothing construction. 5) The most interesting step is the pattern grading system and the least interesting but easiest step is digitize for patterns in the Investronica system.
