The dyeability of the heat resistant and biodegradable polyester with the variation of dyeing temperature (염색온도에 따른 고내열 생분해성 폴리에스테르계 섬유의 염색성)

  • 화학적 혹은 생물학적인 방법으로 합성된 생분해성 고분자(biodegradable polymers)는 환경 문제와 인간의 생명 유지와 같은 인간 생활과 밀접한 관계가 있는 적용 분야로 인해 많은 관심을 받고 있으며, 국내 플라스틱의 폐기량만 해도 2003년을 기준으로 연간 4,000톤을 쉽게 넘고 있고 재활용되는 양은 전체의 1/3 수준이며, 나머지 2/3는 소각되거나 매립되고 있다. 폴리에스테르계 생분해성 섬유는 "미생물이 분비하는 효소로, 분해 가능한 화학합성 섬유"로서, 미생물이 분비하는 가수분해 효소에 의해 고분자 쇄가 절단, 저분자량 화합물이 돼 미생물의 체내로 흡수되며, 이것이 미생물의 체내에서 효소작용에 의해 산화탄소와 물로 분해되는 섬유로 정의된다. 생분해성 고분자 중 화학합성 고분자인 지방족 폴리에스테르계 생분해성 고분자는 특히 환경 산업으로부터 많은 관심을 받고 있으며, 이러한 결정성 폴리에스테르계 고분자의 물성은 고분자의 결정화도 뿐만 아니라, 압력, 온도 등에 의해서 변할 수 있는 결정 구조에 의해 크게 영향을 받는다. 생분해성 섬유는 실용화가 이미 시작됐고, 다용도화와 수요 확대를 위해 많은 연구소와 대학, 기업들이 연구개발을 진행하고 있으며, 향후 석유자원이 고갈된다는 것은 명백한 사실이므로 이에 따라 화석자원의 절약과 유효 이용을 위해서라도 바이오 베이스 폴리머를 주원료로 한생분해성 섬유의 개발은 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 합성섬유 중에서 75%의 비중을 차지하는 폴리에스테르를 대체 가능한 고내열생분해성 폴리에스테르계 직물을 제조하여 범용 폴리에스테르와 염색온도에 대한 염색성을 고찰하였다. 염색온도($100^{\circ}C$, $110^{\circ}C$, $120^{\circ}C$, $130^{\circ}C$)별, 3종의 분산염료의 농도(0.25,0.5,1.0,2.0%o.w.f)별 Build-up성 및 균염성을 비교하였으며, 염색 시료의 견뢰도를 평가하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 sizing을 포함하여 염색.가공 공정에서 습.건열 처리 온도를 변화시켜 처리한 폴리에스테르 필라멘트 사와 직물의 물성 변화에 관한 상관성을 연구하였다. 경사는 50d/24f(spark) 그리고 위사는 75d/72f(semi-dull)사를 사용하여 평직물을 셔틀직기에서 제직하였다. 사이징 공정에서의 건조온도를 $90^\circ{C}$, $125^\circ{C}$, $150^\circ{C}$로 변화 시켰으며 수세공정에서 습열 처리온도는 $90^\circ{C}$, $110^\circ{C}$ 그리고 $120^\circ{C}$로 변화시켰다. 그리고 프리세트 공정에서의 건열 처리온도는 $180^\circ{C}$, $200^\circ{C}$ 그리고 $220^\circ{C}$로 변화시켰다. 마지막으로 최종열처리 공정에서는 $170^\circ{C}$, $180^\circ{C}$ 그리고 $200^\circ{C}$로 각각 변화시켜 이들 직물의 인장, 굽힘, 전단 특성과 이들 직물에서 채취한 실의 탄성계수, 절단강도, 변형률 등을 측정하여 각 공정에서의 열처리 온도 변화에 따라 이들 물성치의 상관성을 검토 비교하였다.

  • As a non-aqueous dyeing method, organic solvent dyeing was discussed, The dye uptakes on PET and the solubilities of C. I. Disperse Violet 1 in 24 kinds of organic solvents including water were investigated, and the partition coefficients in PET- solvents system were also obtained from their isotherms. Contrary to in the other solvents, the dye uptake of C. I. Disperse Violet 1 on PET in hexane was even much higher, and also considerable in cyclohexane. The logarithmic plot of the dye uptakes versus the solubilities showed that the dye uptakes are linear and inversely proportional to the solubilities. The effect of $T_g$ decrease of PET in organic solvents to dye uptake seems to be very small relative to the effect of solubility, and so negligible.

  • The adsorption behaviors of acid dye and disperse dye on silk and nylon fabrics were examined, in one bath dyeing system on silk/nylon blend fabric with disperse dyes and acid dyes. In the dyeing of nylon fabric with C. I. Disperse Red 19 (Red 19) and C. I. Disperse Red 60 (Red 60), dye uptake of Red 19 was higher than that of Red 60. When silk/nylon blend fabric was dyed with Red 19 and Red 0, the dye uptake on nylon was influenced by the ffinity of the dye to the silk fabric. In the dyeing of silk/nylon with C. I. Acid Blue 80 and C. I. Acid Yellow 121, solid shade could not be obtained with the conventional method but could be obtained with the dyeing resist agent for nylon. There was not any relationship between K/S value and Munsell value, but Munsell value tended to change with the K/S value.

  • 신규섬유의 하나인 super-soft형 PET직물 및 이의 교직물을 염색한 결과, 100% 직물의 경우 기존의 PET 섬유에 비해 약 $10^{\circ}C$ 낮은 온도에서 염착이 시작되며 최종 염착률은 $90{\sim}99%$로 PET와 유사하였다. 교직물의 경우 2단2욕법의 염색방법을 통해 염색하였으며 side간 색상차를 보였다. super-soft형 PET섬유의 경우 첨가된 무기물의 영향으로 색상이 다소 dull 해 지는 경향을 보인다.

Effect of Reducing Agent, Sodium Hydrosulfite on the Natural Indigo Dyeing of Silk Fabric (환원제 Sodium Hydrosulfite를 이용한 천연쪽의 견 염색효과)

  • Effect of reducing agent sodium hydrosulfite on the natural indigo on the silk fabrics were examined to improve traditional dyeing method. K/S values of dyed fabrics was monitored with various dyeing temperature time, amount of dye and reducing agent. The dyeability of silk fabrics was improved by using reducing agent, sodium hydrosulfite; K/S value (7.20) was higher then that (1.09) of traditional method at the frist dyeing. Natural indigo dye extracted from dyed silk fabrics are composed of isomer, indigo (67.3%) and indirubin (32.5%). However, silk fabrics showed excellent anti-microbial activity regardless of the dyeing methods.

Characterization of Optimum Conditions Affecting Single-Color Dyeing of Cut Rose (절화장미 단색염색에 미치는 몇가지 요인의 최적조건 규명)

  • This experiment was conducted to examine the treatment conditions for single-color dyeing using the variety 'Akito' which was selected based on the flower size, density, blooming shape, elegance, expression of the dying color. The optimal conditions of dyeing rose flower were pH 3.5 under the $20-25^{\circ}C$, in which the vase life showed 15 days as longest after dyeing. The most suitable flower stage for dyeing was identified as second or third stage at which three petals of flower are opened. $10g{\cdot}L^{-1}$ concentration of dyeing solution with $2mL{\cdot}L^{-1}$ treatment of spreader for rose dyeing gave the best color performance.

Morphological Study on the TUNEL Reaction of Mouse Ovary by X-ray Irradiation (방사선 조사선량에 따른 생쥐 난소의 TUNEL 염색반응에 관한 형태학적 연구)

  • This research investigated morphological changes of ovarian follicle according to dose of irradiation when adult mice were exposed to X-rays from 6 MeV LINAC. At day 3 after irradiation of 200 cGy, 400 cGy and 600 cGy X-ray to the hole body of mice, the ovaries collected and stained with TUNEL. The normal follicles and atretic follicles were identified to apoptosis by the staining with TUNEL. In the atretic follicles of the normal ovary, the apoptotic bodies were well appeared and stained brown color. Almost of the follicles following irradiation are stained with TUNEL, but the sensitivity of reaction is weaker than that in irradiation of 400 cGy and 600 cGy X-ray. The granulosa cells of the radiated normal follicle by 400 cGV are shown brown color. In this stage, the nucleus of granulosa cells in the atrectic follicles are condensed and picknotic feature. The size of the radiated follicle by 600 cGy are decreased than the normal follicles. The atropic follicles are filled with apoptotic bodies which change of granulosa cells and theca cells by influence of X-ray. All of cell in the follicles are strongly positive stained with TUNEL by irradiation of 600 cGy.
