The purpose of this study was to investigate the range of variation for commonly accepted ease in a business jacket and thus to find solutions to the problem of fit and ease in ready-to-wear jackets. This study was based on anthropometric measurements, pattern measurements, which were used to calculate ease amount according to each jacket part. The survey subjects were 493 males, between 25 to 59 years old, buying a jacket at stores in Seoul. In the results, the aesthetic purpose of a business jacket(custom-fit jacket) was clearly observed by the means of controlling the ease amount at chest, waist and hip. The ease at chest and waist(ready-to-wear) clearly revealed a difference among prototypes. This result can be explaned by the regular drops and the similar length-width proportions between sizes in ready-to-wear Jackets. Therefore, customers with varying body drop differences, who had to choose a homogeneous jacket drop, experienced too much ease at the Waist and Hip compared with custom-fit customers. In addition, the height could be an integral factor to affect the ease of jacket length and sleeve length. The ease at these parts was significantly different among height groups and showed negative relationships.
The purpose of this study is to provide information for the manufacturer of shoes. The data was collected through a questionnaire on purchasing practices, wearing state and overall satisfaction with shoes for high school students. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 598 high school students(49.2% male students, 50.8% female students) in the Cheongju area. Statistical tests such as frequencies, percentages, and crosstabs were conducted to analyze the data. The results were as follows: 1) The main reasons for buying new shoes were replacing worn out shoes or color and design coordination with other apparel. 2) Male students bought shoes generally from shoe stores and sports brand retailers, but female students bought mainly from shoe stores. The order of criteria considered for purchasing was design, size, price, color, style coordination and comfort. 3) While attending school, male students geneially wore sports shoes, but female students wore sports shoes and dress shoes by similar ratio. 4) The male students used primarily ordinary sports shoes and casual shoes secondarily, and for female students, primarily ordinary sports shoes and sneakers secondarily. 5) They were satisfied with shoe design and color but quality of the material and durability were unsatisfactory. 6) When they wore shoes for long hours, they experienced fatigue of the whole leg and general discomfort, blisters on the feet, and red skin.

Data was collected from 475 parents in Chonbuk province by using a self administered questionnaire from June 10 to 30, 1998. Frequencies, percentages, and averages were calculated T-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were followed. The results were as follows; 1. The families who suffered householders' job loss were 1/4 of the respondents and over 4/5 of the families felt economic stresses. 1/3 of the respondents had debts and 1/5 had not any savings. Most of the families were in good or normal marriage relationships, experienced economic crises, and had sparing habit. 2. In out-of-job families, couple cohension, couple satisfaction, and total marriage relationships were lower than in-job families. Also, out-of-job families spared more in buying and using clothes and foods, total clothes living and total food living. 3. In out-of-job families, the economic pressures on marriage relationships, clothes living, and food living were stronger than in-job families. 4. In a long-run, a price reduction of shine muscat that is one type of grapes is expected due to an increase of cultivated area. To come up with this problem, expanding exports of shine muscat considering that domestic demand is restricted in Korea. This study investigates the China consumers preference for shine muscat from Korea since exports to China have increased a lot after the quarantine agreement in 2015. Specifically, this paper analyzes a probability of shine muscat exports to China based on willingness to pay (WTP). Moreover, we derive long-run and short-run export strategies for Korean shine muscat. Our results show that a probability of exports to China is high. However, this probability is lowered at the sample of consumers who have the experience of tasted shine muscat. Considering the relative important characteristic for buying shine muscat at the sample of eating experienced consumers in China is sweetness, there is a need to develop cultivation technologies for enhancing sweetness to attain a sustainable development in the grape sector of Korea.

FCB grid model was used to define a product type, and Internet communication satisfaction index was considered as a marketing performance measuring tool for digital channel. Research design, data, and methodology - As systematic understanding for Digital marketing is still unfamiliar to even professional marketer, the hypothesis was established based on preliminary research by conducting a qualitative survey of marketing experts who already experienced digital marketing in the fields as well as existing related study literature. Through a preliminary research, the degree for understanding for digital marketing, current digital marketing (including product/channel mix) execution status, and difficulties for marketers who had experienced digital marketing were figured out. To collect data, the questionnaire survey was conducted for professional marketers who had experienced digital marketing in 10 different fields including FMCG, cosmetics, distribution industry for one month (July, 10, 2014~Aug, 10, 2014). A total of 90 questionnaire were distributed and 66 questionnaires were used for the analysis, excluding the unanswered and insincere questionnaires. The data were analysed using SPSS ver.18.0. Results - The analysis for product type which is pertinent to digital marketing and prioritization for digital channel per digital marketing performance type could be summarized as followings. First, high involvement buying decision type of product and rational purchasing decision type of product in FCB grid are more effective for digital marketing in terms of marketing performance. Therefore, marketers in field would prioritize considering product type before executing digital marketing. Second, factor for sales increase, potential consumer creation and brand awareness was represented respectively 31.25%, 21.9%, and 20.8% as a result of factor analysis in terms of digital marketing channel performance. Third, effective major digital channel per digital marketing performance factor was differently identified as each digital channel has its own peculiarity. For instance, search engine is more effective for increasing sales while social media such as facebook and Kakaotalk is more effective for encouraging consumer participation. Conclusions - As a result of this study, product type and peculiarity which were pertinently fit to digital marketing were identified by using FCB grid model, and also suggested framework for decision making of digital channel selection in line with marketing objectives for effective marketing performance. It also provided insight to professional marketer which type of product could be effective for digital marketing execution as well as which factors should be measured for digital marketing performance.
Entering into the new millennium, the Korean wine market has recorded the highest growth rate among the domestic alcoholic beverage market and been recognized as a rapidly emerging market with further escalation potential. Responding to the current drastic escalation of Korean wine market in terms of its volume, the present study scrutinizes the considerable wine-selection attributes that are related to individual wine consumer‘s characteristics including demographic variables. These attributes are also expected to be precursors of wine consumers‘ satisfaction. ANOVA results suggest that each demographical variable-gender, age, income level, and the frequency of wine consumption-pertains to specific wine-selection attribute(s). Likewise, wine consumers‘ characteristics are also associated with those attributes. As wine consumers are experienced, they rely less on information; rather, their selections tend to be dependent upon quality, value, contexts, and preferences. The subsequent multiple-regression investigating the relationship between wine-selection attributes and satisfaction signifies that quality, contexts, and preference attributes are the substantial antecedents of wine consumers‘ satisfaction. When consumers purchase a wine, "information on purchase" was the most important criterion for the Newcomers and the Outsiders, while the Connoisseurs mainly depended on "marketability", "wine values" and "viticulture environment". "Preference" attributes influenced the Aspirants the most in buying decision. The Newcomers and the Outsiders need more information before deciding to purchase as their wine knowledge was very limited. The Connoisseurs were likely to consider the quality as a more important factor than the price and it is necessary to develop high quality wine at a reasonable price in order to attract this group.
Secondary diseases that occur during the rehabilitation of breast cancer survivors are factors that can negatively change the physical and psychological state of the patient. The rehabilitation after treatment of breast cancer survivors is an important process to prevent cancer recurrence and increase the survival rate because a negative psychological state significantly impacts the long-term survival rate. This study identifies user requirements for the development of functional bras for mastectomy patients in Korea. Participants included 133 patients with one or more breasts removed due to breast cancer and an average age of 53.2 years (53.21 ± 7.57 years, minimum 33 years, maximum 69 years). Women in their 50s had the highest participation rate of 48.9%. Most maintained the same bra size before surgery; however, some experienced changes in bra size because they are not irritated by wounds caused by surgery. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to material when designing a functional bra because it can irritate the surgical site. Only about 41.4% of bras were worn by breast cancer patients because of price burden and lack of education, not complaints related to clothing design and wearability or body shape. Most purchases at hospitals or medical institutions require consultation with a specialist who provides information about a bra mainly at the hospital. The most important considerations when buying a breast cancer bra were size, fit and shape stability.
In this study, we investigate characteristics of fall, requirements toward the impact protective clothing, design preferences, etc. to develop the fall impact protective clothing for the silver-aged women. Among the 242 women respondents aging 50s to 70s, 43% experienced the fall in recent 2 years. It is found that the fall mostly occurred in winter season and happened during the regular activities such as walking outside, going up and down stairs. Most of the respondents have no experience buying the impact protective clothing, but they expressed the fall impact protective clothing would help reducing the injury from falls. Moreover, the intention to purchase the impact protective clothing is increasing with an increasing target age. However, the respondents concerned with increasing volume and weight of clothing by the protecting pad inserted into the clothing. The respondents also claimed that the impact protecting clothing should not interfere with their regular physical activities. The survey showed that respondents preferred to embed the impact protective function in pants as a form of the protective clothing. For the design preferences on the pants, casual style and straight silhouette was preferred and stretch fabric was selected. The respondents preferred underwear made of cotton spandex blend with relaxed fit.
This study aims to identify the factorial constructs of the relational benefits perceived by consumers of outdoor wear brands and their impacts on the consumers' trust in and satisfaction with outdoor wear brands. An online survey was conducted with females and males between the ages of 20 and 50 who have experienced buying outdoor wear brands. A total of 420 responses were analyzed by factor analysis, a reliability test, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows: first, the results of factor analysis and the reliability test on the relational benefits perceived by outdoor wear brand purchasers clearly showed conceptual constructs that included informational benefits, social benefits, and psychological benefits. The sub-dimension of perceived relational benefits had significant effects on brand trust and satisfaction. Specifically, respondents revealed that they had higher brand trust if they felt psychologically comfortable, were offered useful information by outdoor wear brands, and had a favorable relationship with salespeople when they bought outdoor wear merchandise. Secondly, influences of perceived relational benefits on brand trust and satisfaction were not shown to differ depending on the congruity between outdoor wear brands and the purchaser's self-image. On the other hand, factors of perceived relational benefits revealed to differently have effects on brand trust and satisfaction depending on respondents' gender and age. Practical implications to understand outdoor wear target customers' relational benefits, self-image congruity and demographic characteristics and to enhance trust and satisfaction with outdoor wear brands are proposed.
The purposes of this study were to explore differences in utilization of information sources depending on the length of buyers' career and annual sales volume of stores where buyers work for. The questionnaire was prepared by the researcher and was answered by 200 buyers who purchase their items from Dondaemun market. The researcher analyzed the data using both ANOVA and Tukey's test as a post-hoc test. The conclusion of this study is summarized below. First, there were significant differences in utilization of information sources among buyer groups depending on the length of buyers' career. The buyers with more than 10 years career showed more effective utilization of information source such as resident buying offices, manufacturers, trade publications, trade associations, fashion reports, celebrities, window shopping, professional magazines, and advice from others. Second, there were significant differences in utilization of information sources among buyer groups depending on annual sales volume of the stores where the buyers work for.
