  • In the face of recent digital and digital transformation, companies and industries are trying to be agile to adapt and respond to change. Agile paradigm is spreading beyond the boundaries of existing applications such as IT-related projects and software development. In this regard, this study, we analyzed the diffusion of agile paradigm by text mining abstracts of research papers from 2001 to 2019. In addition, we discussed agile transformation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through this study, we confirmed that we are studying agile transformation in various fields such as business environment, corporate organizational culture, manufacturing industry, and supply chain. The results of this study will contribute to understanding the meaning and role of agile as a basic paradigm for digital transformation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine factors influencing online product transformation focusing on benefits of online shopping and word of mouth. Generally, it has been known that buying search goods is more proper than experience goods in the online. However benefits of online shopping and word of mouth make product transformation from experience goods to search goods and the product transformation promote the purchase of experience goods online. We developed a conceptual model of online product transformation including benefits of online shopping(e.g. good price and convenience), online word of mouth (e.g. bulletin board and consumer reviews), and consumer characteristics (e.g. innovativeness and Internet usage). Also, we suggest several research propositions on online product transformation. The implications for marketing strategies of experience goods and furher research direction are suggested.

  • This study empirically analyzed the factors affecting acceptance intention when introducing digital transformation in the passenger vehicle transportation business, and examined the moderating effect of corporate agility. Based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) and the technology-organization-environment (TOE) model, the study set introduction usability, ease of introduction, digital transformation capability, CEO support, customer demand, and competitive pressure as independent variables, and 316 effective samples were analyzed by setting corporate agility as a modulating variable. As a result of the analysis, ease of introduction, digital transformation capability, CEO support, customer demand, and competitive pressure all had a significant influence on the intention to accept digital transformation, and in particular, digital transformation capability had the greatest influence. This suggests that the ability of companies to effectively utilize digital technology is an essential factor in the success of digital transformation. On the other hand, the usefulness of introduction did not significantly affect the intention to accept, which means that concerns about costs and risks can have a greater impact on the introduction of digital transformation. In addition, corporate agility showed a positive moderating effect in the relationship between acceptance intention and independent variables, and it was shown that the more agile the company can effectively solve the challenges that arise in the process of introducing digital transformation. In particular, when corporate agility is high, the effect of usefulness of introduction changes positively. This study is the first attempt to systematically analyze digital transformation in the passenger vehicle transportation business, and in practice, it has great academic significance and confirmed the importance of digital transformation capabilities and CEO support. However, since the scope of the study is limited to the passenger vehicle transportation business, there is a limit to generalization, research expanded to various industries and fields is needed in the future.

  • To formally describe business process, many business process languages have been so far specified with different origins and goals such as XPDL, BPML and BPELAWS. Especially, XPDL proposed by WfMC has been widely used in various business process environments for a long time. On the other hand, the necessity of a standard graphical notation for a business process may create BPMN driven by BPMI. Because BPMN is composed of graphical constructs which can be used to graphically depict business process, BPMN-formed business processes should ultimately be converted to their corresponding semantically equivalent business process language(XPDL). Then, the business process languages can be consequently executed by business process engines. In this paper, we proposed a transformation mechanism from BPMN to XPDL for a business process. By this paper, We minimized the difference between process designers and process execution modules as reducing the gap of semantics between BPMN and XPDL.

  • The main purpose of the study is to analyze the main aspects of state regulation of the banking business in the context of social and digital transformation. One of the key elements of the functioning of the economy of any country are banks that ensure the redistribution of financial resources and stimulate economic growth. However, the banking sector, like other activities, is dynamic and depends on the pace of development and forms of technological progress that affect the forms and types of information and digital technologies, as well as the globalization and remoteness of banking services. Accordingly, the need for effective implementation of the latest technologies becomes relevant, which will not only help increase consumer satisfaction with the banking product, but also ensure the development of the country's financial sector. As a result of the study, trends in the development of state regulation of the banking sector in the digital economy were identified.

  • The legacy methods for converting a business model to a feature model make it difficult to support an automatic transformation due to a dependence on a domain analyzers' intuitions, which hinders the feature oriented development for the integration of feature modeling in business modeling. This paper proposes a method for converting a BPMN business model into a feature model based on syntax. To allow the conversion between the heterogeneous models from BPMN to the FM(Feature Model), it defines the grouping mechanism based activities' syntax, and then makes translation rules and a method based on the element (represent business function) and structure (relationships and process among elements), which are common constructs of their models. This method was applied to an online shopping mall system as a case study. With this mechanism, it will help develop a mechanical or automated structure transformation from the BPMN model to the FM.

  • This paper presents an analysis of how the business models of organizations are getting transformed in the Marketspace created by the Internet. We use a research model comprising the transformation scores of four Ps(Product, Price, Promotion, and Place) as dependent variables and three dimensions, Demographics, Technology, and Community elements on the Websites, as explaining variables about the Cyber Transformation of the 4Ps. While most existing literatures have focused on Website's technology, our research model includes 22 five-point-scale items; 10 Demographics /Technology items and 12 Community items. To measure the 4P's transformation scores, the authors selected 14 workable items from the Marketspace Model by Dutta, Kwan, & Segev(1997). A sample of 123 shopping mall Websites comprising three categories(grocery, jewelry/accessory, and cosmetics) from the 100hot.co.kr list are evaluated and the data is analyzed by SPSSWIN 8.0 version. The result shows that there are five significant factors, Technology, Interaction, Connectedness, Business Features, and Domain, while the average transformation scores of 4Ps are at very low level. The factor scores are used in regression analysis for each P. Two factors, Technology and Interaction are influencing all four Ps; Connectedness is influencing only two, Product and Place. Organizations must not simply take their existing business models. They have to adopt the Technology items(navigation, logo, e-mail, guide, graphics) and to facilitate the Interaction items(consulting, number/quality of bulletin boards, participation, offline events) and Connectedness(club activation, contents, partner/site link, entertainment contents) in order to get transformed in the Marketspace successfully in the near future.
