  • Recent business environments require a company to communicate frequently with other companies. This makes it essential to use XML (eXtensible Markup Language) documents for integration of information systems. Especially in e-Business environments, change management of documents is important to record and trace the history of the documents. In this paper, we propose a new method of storing a document by detecting changes automatically and reconstructing the document version when a user requests. In addition, based on the method, we also propose a model to recover a document into previous state even when system errors occur. A prototype system is implemented on top of a workflow system and an experiment is carried out to present efficiency of our method. Our approach provides efficiency of storage space and convenient management of documents.

  • Currently there are a variety of different tools may be used to analyze, model, describe and document a business process. However, it is difficult to exchange the information of a business process created in different tools because of the distinct information formats used in different tools. The XML Process Definition Language (XPDL) of the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) forms a common interchange standard that enables products to continue to support arbitrary internal representations of process definitions with an import/export function to map to/from the standard at the product boundary. Generally a business process model can be represented by the UML activity diagram, but there is a difficult task to directly generate an XPDL document from a business process model represented by the standard activity diagram. In the paper we will propose an approach to generate an XPDL document from a business process model represented by the extended UML activity diagram.

  • This study deals with a certified e-document authority system to securely archive e-documents by a government authorized third party. For this study, I have looked at three cases of certified e-document authority systems and compared then with the similar cases in the USA and Japan. In my conclusion, I suggest four ideas to improve the service of certified e-document authority system. First, the company providing the certified e-document authority system needs to expand to special services. Second, they need to concentrate on subject area of their business. Third, they should provide a consulting service for business archives with business customers. Finally, they can support additional services like document risk management and other digital contents archiving.

Now, This document left in the Museum of Korea. We have seen the document to study the cultural policies and the cultural assets of the CGG. The second is to see the administration system of the MCGG. Indeed, this document includes information of organization of the MCGG, the policies and the process of the MCGG. In substance, we can see the systemic proceedings of the MCGG. The third is to provide historical materials to the historian. This document has the persons to plan the colonial culture policy of the MCGG, and events to rule the Korea culture. Moreover, the document of the MCGG would help to inquire into the truthfulness of history and to get the national identity.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented the general-purpose document repository manager for the ebXML-based e-business framework that support the rapid translation of various types of documents and provide the flexibility corresponding to the framework changes. Also, we automated the manually-processed e-business document translation process by designing the adaptor module for the interoperability of legacy systems. In the regards, our designed general purpose document manager makes it possible to integrate the existing e-commerce systems that are operated on the heterogeneous frameworks, and can be used on global e-business solution.

  • At present, the electronic catalog format and the process system which are used in B2B (Business-To-Business) electronic commerce are applying different system architectures according to their businesses and industries characteristics. B2B business corporations using the electronic commerce started to consider the importance of standard electronic catalog format to enhance their interoperability. As a result, the necessity of unified electronic catalog system gathered strength in exchanging and managing enormous information of electronic catalog process system constructed in each corporation and industry. Therefore, we suggest data format to improve interoperability using XML (eXtensible Markup Language), as a standard document format in electronic catalog document and define the structure of electronic catalog document in processing the information of goods using XML Schema. In addition, we presents the integrated electronic catalog registry system which provides the service of searching and registering using the electronic catalog document defined through XML for each corporation to use it in electronic marketplace. Furthermore, we exhibits a model of the electronic catalog document that improves its interoperability and reusability in electronic commerce and a model of integrated electronic catalog system.

  • The transaction was happened within a single business entity or a single marketplace at the stage of e-business. It becomes to grow to complex form. Expecially, the need for business collaboration between business entities or marketplaces has being on the rise as the core topic. The format translation between documents is very important factor according to various the exchanged document formats. In this paper, we define ebXML as the basic format of exchanged document according to object-oriented business transaction. Also we design the multi-format translation system to support the translation of various document formats. The proposed system in this paper, is designed with model-driven method and it is possible to construct with various structure as for system environment. The proposed translation system is designed to use the proposed system as adding the corresponding parsing module even though any format of document. Also, we increase the reusability of data as using the common data set. In this paper, we prove the superiority of the proposed system to compare the performance with the legacy system for various format translation.

  • EDI is being considered as a new way for exchange business data in the form of electronic document, aiming the paperless transaction in business-to-business commerce. However, only a few enterprises select and practically use EDI accepts the closed and complicated method based on exclusive protocol for electronic document exchange. There, second, is insufficient regulation and system that support it. Last, the cost for operating is too high. In this paper, Open EDI Document Information Management System (OEIMS) was designed for solving the problem that mentioned above. We represented exchange document in code from as XML DTD. OEIMS that makers feasible to transfer their document through the web with low cost and, manage and search the information more efficiently and effectively using object-oriented database. We suggest OEIMS that provide efficiency to reposit and manage a system by modulized design of structural feature from EDI unlike other systems.

  • Purpose -In the credit transaction, the issuing bank must examine the documents to pay the credit amount. In order to smoothly execute the credit transaction, document review is a key element, so the 5th revised credit unification rule specifically defines the document review procedure. Research design, data, and methodology - The document review procedure specified in the UCP Rules can be largely divided into the document review period and the rejection procedure for inconsistent documents. First of all, confusion was caused by the ambiguous regulation.. Result - With regard to the document review period, in the actual credit transaction, the issuing bank often negotiates with the issuing client about the waiver of the document inconsistency. Next, in the process of notifying the rejection of inconsistent documents, the issuing bank shall send the rejection notice. Conclusion - This study suggests that the requirement to list all inconsistencies makes it impossible for the issuing bank to further notify the refusal, thereby limiting the right to defend against inconsistencies not listed in the first refusal notice and consequently having the effect of matching them. In addition, the issuing bank's rejection notice is closely related to the beneficiary's exercise of the right to replenish documents.
