βig-h3포함 키토산 상처 도포제의 섬유아세포 증식 및 상처치유 개선 능 평가 (Effects of βig-h3/Chitosan Dressing on Dermal Fibroblast and Wound Healing)

  • ${\beta}ig$-h3, is a TGF-${\beta}$-induced gene product, extracellular matrix protein with 68 kDa MW(683 amino acids) and has been known for its possible roles in cell adhesion, spreading, migration and proliferation. To minimize a proteolytic degradation of ${\beta}ig$-h3, ${\beta}ig$-h3 incorporated chitosan sponge was prepared and its effects on fibroblast adhesion and migration were investigated. And its wound healing efficacy was evaluated in deep 2nd degree burn rabbit ear wound model. ${\beta}ig$-h3 enhanced fibroblast adhesion and proliferation. In histological observation, a significant over-proliferation of epidermal regeneration was observed in ${\beta}ig$-h3/chitosan dressing applied wound while epidermal regeneration was not proceeded yet in chitosan only treated wound. ${\beta}ig$-h3/sponge dressing could enhance epidermal regeneration.

REDUCTION CHARACTERISTICS OF NOx STORAGE CATALYST FOR LEAN-BURN NATURAL GAS VEHICLES

  • Various types of NOx storage catalysts for NGV's were designed, manufactured, and tested in this work on a model gas test bench. As in most of other studies on NOx storage catalyst, alkaline earth metal barium(Ba) was used as the NOx adsorbing substance. The barium-based experimental catalysts were designed to contain different amounts of Ba and precious metals at various ratios. Reaction tests were performed to investigate the NOx storage capacity and the NOx conversion efficiency of the experimental catalysts. From the results, it was found that when Ba loading of a catalyst was increased, the quantity of NOx stored in the catalyst increased in the high temperature range over 350. With more Ba deposition, the NOx conversion efficiency as well as its peak value increased in the high temperature range, but decreased in the low temperature range. The best of de-NOx catalyst tested in this study was catalyst B, which was loaded with 42.8 g/L of Ba in addition to Pt, Pd and Rh in the ratio of 7:7:1. In the low temperature range under $450^{\circ}C$, the NOx conversion efficiencies of the catalysts were lower when $CH_4$, instead of either $C_3H_6$ or $C_3H_8$, was used as the reductant.

폐기물 소각시설 주변 환경보건평가 중 스크리닝 단계에서의 우선순위 선정기법에 관한 연구 (Simple priority setting method for Screening in public health assessment of waste incineration facilities)

  • Environmental and public health concern for the emission of air pollutants from burn-up process in waste incineration plants located in the vicinity of living environment was increased during the past decade. The purpose of this study was to suggest of the simple and rapid method of priority setting model for the decision of full-scale public health assessment. This method was consists of total 5-step. Step 1 was "secure the satellite map" and we can use the satellite map which serves from the website such as NAVER Co. Step 2 was "drawing mesh on the map" for catch the point of occupation of environmental sensitivity facilities, and step 3 was "identification and sorting of the facilities", Step 4 was "setting of weight" using the "weighted linear combination (WLC) method". Finally, all facility was sorted by score. As a result, we can set a priority of 145 facilities based on 177 facilities which managed in local government. Facilities in Seoul metropolitan area was high rank in priority list. On the other side, Facilities located at the country or rural area was low rank because of low occupation of the house and the environmental sensitivity facilities such as kindergarten, elementary school, and hospital. In this study, we suggested simple and rapid method that using for screening procedure of public health assessment.

나노-마이크로 알루미늄 혼합 입자의 공기와의 연소 모델링 (Combustion Modeling of Nano/Micro Aluminum Particle Mixture)

  • 금속 연료 중 널리 사용되는 알루미늄의 연소 특성에 관하여 1차원 연소모델링을 제안하였다. 연소 모델링은 예열영역, 반응영역, 반응 후 영역, 세 영역으로 나누어 수행하였다. 또한 희박연소로 가정하여 단일 입자의 경우 입자크기와 당량비에 따른 화염속도, 나노와 마이크로 입자의 혼합물의 경우 혼합 비율에 따른 화염속도를 압력이 1기압 조건에서 계산하여 실험결과와 비교하였다. 단일입자의 경우, 입자의 크기가 작아질수록 화염속도가 빨라지고, 당량비가 낮아질수록 화염속도가 느려지는 현상이 관찰되었다. 나노와 마이크로 입자의 혼합물의 경우, 나노 입자의 함유량에 따라 화염속도는 빨라지며, 화염구조는 분리화염과 중첩화염이 나타남이 관찰되었다.

최적박용기관의 선정 및 그의 경제성 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A study on the selection of optimal marine engine and its techno- economical evaluation method)

  • The cost percentage of engine part in the total building cost of a ship is about 30-40% and the main engine occupies about 50% of the engine part cost. For certain ships the fuel bill can be as high as about 60-70% of the total operating cost after two oil shocks and its amount for one year is nearly equivalent to her main engine price. This fact has further increased the pressure on the engine builders to develop engines of higher efficiency and better possibilities to burn further deteriorated fuel qualities. But the energy-saving plants are ordinarily more expensive and their available amount of exhaust gas energy is less and therefore, they are not always profitable and optimum systems. This paper is prepared to decide the most economical and efficient engine systems by presenting reasonable selecting and economical evaluation methods of the main engine, which is the largest single unit and the most expensive, and its auxiliaries. In order to demonstrate the application of investigated methods in a practical case, a 46, 000 DWT class bulk carrier is selected as a model ship and her main engine and its auxiliaries are selected and evaluated. The result shows that the optimum determined has one year three months POP, 0.903 IRR at a year, 4, 116, 000 dollars PW in 15 years (for 5% escalation rate of fuel cost) and 9.522 BCR for same condition, when the engine plant of a same existing ship is taken as the basis.

  • Forest fires happened simultaneously in Go-Seong, Gang-Neung, Sam-Cheok, Dong-Hae, Ul-Chin for 9 days(7th-15th of April, 2000). The area of those fires came to 23,794ha, about 80 times of Yeoui-Do and the extent of damage was the biggest and worst in Korea. The focus of this study is to compare the rate of restoration by damage types and develop the sound restoration model and efficient woodland management after the forest fire. The study site faces East Sea and the elements such as seasons, topographical features and etc. make difficult to obtain the suitable data from satellite. This study analyzed two images;2000yr and 2001yr after the fire. MODVI was more useful to grasp the damage than NDVI and the limitation of this study was the lack of images by damage types. The study suggests that lots of images are needed to monitor and analyze the forest fire site and the image of higher resolution is required to analyze the narrow site.

KS제품 품질우수성지수(KS-QEI)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Korean Standard -Quality Excellence Index(KS-QEI))

  • The 'KS-QEI' is the quality evaluation model developed both by Korean Standard Association(KSA) and this research team, reflecting the characteristic of KS products' quality and the customers' demand factors. KS-QEI is a general index measuring and announcing KS products' quality excellency through the evaluation of its real user including customers and specialists. This index aimed to evaluate and announce the quality level of KS product annually which was the motivation of products' quality improvement to enterprises and guaranteed the products' reliability to customers. Ultimately, by competing in good faith among domestic enterprises and preparing foundation of continuous research and investment inducement, it was expected to improve the Korean industry's competitive power. This study was intended to develop improved KS-QEI by analysing 2006 research result, to which it had applied ameliorated and enlarged index in 2005. Especially, it established the weight by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP), which led to estimate weight mathematically by comparing and evaluating the importance and difficulty by its index. And this paper analyzed the research result by using multi-variate statistical methods.

전도 냉각을 이용한 고온 초전도 회전기용 모델 코일의 특성 평가 (Evaluation of a model coil characteristics for HTS rotating machine using conduction-cooled)

  • In large scale superconducting rotating machine, HTS field coils are constructed with many stacks of single or double pancake coils connected in series. In spite of its higher thermal stability, HTS field coil experiences some quench, which results in some part of burn-out in the field coils. Thus in the view point of the HTS rotating machine field coil design and testing, it was very important to predict the possibility of quench occurrence in the designed field coils. In this paper, a HTS racetrack coil constructed with two single pancake coils and one double pancake coil was tested in LN2 and cooling by GM refrigerator. It is wound using the Bi-2223 tape. The experimental details and results are presented in this paper.

GOTHIC-3D APPLICABILITY TO HYDROGEN COMBUSTION ANALYSIS

  • Severe accidents in nuclear power plants can cause hydrogen-generating chemical reactions, which create the danger of hydrogen combustion and thus threaten containment integrity. For containment analyses, a three-dimensional mechanistic code, GOTHIC-3D has been applied near source compartments to predict whether or not highly reactive gas mixtures can form during an accident with the hydrogen mitigation system working. To assess the code applicability to hydrogen combustion analysis, this paper presents the numerical calculation results of GOTHIC-3D for various hydrogen combustion experiments, including FLAME, LSVCTF, and SNU-2D. In this study, a technical base for the modeling oflarge- and small-scale facilities was introduced through sensitivity studies on cell size and bum modeling parameters. Use of a turbulent bum option of the eddy dissipation concept enabled scale-free applications. Lowering the bum parameter values for the flame thickness and the bum temperature limit resulted in a larger flame velocity. When applied to hydrogen combustion analysis, this study revealed that the GOTHIC-3D code is generally able to predict the combustion phenomena with its default bum modeling parameters for large-scale facilities. However, the code needs further modifications of its bum modeling parameters to be applied to either small-scale facilities or extremely fast transients.

정신건강전문요원의 직무소진과 정서노동이 정신건강에 미치는 영향 -회복탄력성의 조절효과 모형을 중심으로- (Effects of Job burn-out, Emotional labor on Mental Health of Mental Health Professionals -Focusing on Moderating Effect Model of Resilience-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정신건강전문요원의 직무소진 및 정서노동과 정신건강의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 2014년 국립정신보건교육 연구센터의 학술용역연구에서 수집된 정신건강전문요원(간호, 사회복지, 임상심리의 3개 직역 각 1 2급 자격자) 1,020명의 자료를 분석한 결과, 직무소진과 정서노동 모두 정신건강과 유의한 부적 상관을 보였지만 회복탄력성의 조절효과 분석에서는 직무소진에서만 유의한 결과를 보였다. 따라서 정신건강 종사자들이 직무소진으로 인한 정신건강이 저하될 위험성을 회복탄력성이 완충시켜 줄 수 있음이 시사되었다. 본 연구는 정신건강 서비스 대상자들의 정신건강 뿐만 아니라 정신건강 서비스 제공자인 정신건전문요원들의 정신건강에도 동시에 주의를 기울여야 함을 강조하는 연구로서 정신건강 서비스에 관한 연구가 양측 모두에서 융합적으로 이루어져야 함을 보여준다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 정신건강전문요원을 비롯한 정신건강 분야 종사자들의 정신건강 관리에 관한 방안 등이 추가로 논의되었다.
