A Field Study on the Preference in the Construction Management - Focused after construction Stage - (현장관리 업무체계의 실태조사 연구 - 준공 후 업무를 중심으로 -)

  • With the social demands for tall building, the level of techniques for construction become high and there are various building materials. Also, the construction system become very complicated with the increase of worker. In spite of above facts, the method of construction management depends on the experimental capacity of a construction manager, and there are many unreasonable elements. These elements prevent well-going in construction process. To solve this problem, it is necessary to make a new system of construction management which is adequate for the condition of company and the contents of construction. In this study, the characteristic of production system and the present condition of construction management were investigated with the help of survey. Thus, the new method of construction management which can clear the previous problems was proposed.

  • Numerous of free-form buildings come up with external appearances using various types of free-form panels. If the panel types produced, transport and installation order and maintenance history are not properly managed, it is difficult to complete a given project successfully. For free-form building projects that satisfy 5 factors (proper time, place, price, product and quantity), a supply chain management technique is applied for distribution management of free-form concrete panels. In addition, the study listed the whole production process of free-form concrete panels and any necessary information, and suggested a basic model for the management. The study result will be a great help in effective distribution management of free-form panels for free-form building projects.

  • In the modern age. Building is getting higher and larger according to owner and social demands. Now when we are facing the need of the cost down and the reduction of economic loss. In this paper, the characteristics of the present conditions of site management were investigated with the field survey. And The Purpose of this study is to suggest the rational plans of construction planning in site management. The method of site management. however depends on experience of a construction manager. in order to solve this situation, it is necessary to create a method of site management that is adequate for the condition of construction. By cultivating excellent sub contractors, we can expect precise construction with a few experts. improvement in qualify of construction from standardization, computerization of each process. And the expectancies of this paper are that it can be used as efficient data for improvement of system to systematize site management work in Korea.

  • This paper aimed to identify potential opportunities of building information modeling (BIM) utilization for construction risk management. Construction risk factors and BIM functions were derived through conducting in-depth literature review. Nineteen construction risk factors could be resolved by various BIM functions. Phase planning, site analysis, design authoring, and 3D design coordination were identified as the most efficient BIM functions for construction risk management.

  • Building energy management plays a crucial role in improving energy efficiency and optimizing energy usage. To achieve this, it is important to monitor and analyze energy-related data from buildings in real time using sensors to understand energy consumption patterns and establish optimal operational strategies. Because of the uncertainties in building energy-related data, there are challenges in analyzing these data and formulating operational strategies based on them. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology can help overcome these challenges. This paper investigates past and current research trends in AI technology and examines its future prospects for building energy management. By performing prediction and analysis based on energy consumption or supply data, the future energy demands of buildings can be forecasted and energy consumption can be optimized. Additionally, data related to the surrounding environment, occupancy, and other building energy-related factors can be collected and analyzed using sensors to establish operational strategies aimed at further reducing energy consumption and increasing efficiency. These technologies will contribute to cost savings and help minimize environmental impacts for building owners and operators, ultimately facilitating sustainable building operations.

  • Unlike a general building high-rise buildings itself has a kind of risk. In this study, the risk of a number of high-rise buildings have fire safety management of the particular risks associated with looking for ways to minimize focused. Theoretical Study of the United States since the collapse of the WTC buildings, and be the center of the authentic country was. outside of the high-rise building fire safety and related issues, and measures were based on the theory of reference. Issues include voluntary arson. disaster management, building codes and fire regulations of the discrepancies, such as fire safety aspects are explained in terms of three kinds, and for it to take steps in the direction suggested an alternative for high-rise buildings. Although differences of opinion between departments will not be easy to fire and building regulations regarding conflicts of laws among other things, require immediate resolution, and high-rise buildings to create a standard for effective crisis management manual countermeasures will also be ensured.

  • Within the building industry, building information modelling has been widely applied among different organizations, disciplines and project phases. In order to achieve coordination and synergy collaborative effort, it demands organized information flow and communication for effective implementation of project management through the construction process. Although many BIM researches provides solutions for project management, few efforts have involved the whole life-cycle process of project. In this article, BIM-based project management relying on a series of applications of BIM technology was introduced by coupling management requirement of a project with BIM. Through adopting BIM to the life-cycle management of the project and incorporating BIM applications to project management practice, we have developed a BIM-based project management approach that specialize in integrated BIM chain and interface-supporting system. At the end, the developing process of BIM-based project management approach is concluded.

  • Recently, the construction industry has been changed more highly and complicacy. According to this, several informational systems of maintenance are introduced suitable the work and the purpose of each maintenance. However there are some problems in the manage the information of maintenance management by without the standization and systematic management of variable information from building life-cycle. This paper purposed the process of creation or management of information which is used for present maintenance through IFC-based facilities object library development is suggested for work efficiency of maintenance management. In addition, it can minimize the reproduce the same information unnecessarily. Fainally, it makes information compatibility through the building life-cycle highly by define the IFC-based object information and standardize the format of information.
