콘크리트슬래브궤도 체결장치의 패드강성에 따른 궤도/교량의 거동 분석 (The Behaviour of Track/Railway Bridge according to Pad Stiffness of Fastener System on Concrete Slab Track)

  • Construction of concrete slab track is trending to increase gradually in national and international for reduction in track maintenance cost and secure of ride comfort. But elastic pad becomes superannuated due to repeated train operation. After all, it brings change of pad stiffness and it could directly act on track and bridge as load transmission and impact force. In this study, we carried out laboratory test changing pad stiffness after making a model of 15m bridge and laying concrete slab track. Also, we carried out static and dynamic behaviors test(stress, natural frequency, damping ratio, vibrational acceleration, deflection) of bridge and track and experimentally analyzed them by change of elastic pad stiffness on rail fastener.

동작 가변적 3D 프린팅 충격보호패드의 설계 (Design of motion-adaptable 3D printed impact protection pad)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a 3D mesh-type impact protection pad with excellent motion adaptability and functionality by applying 3D printing technology. The hexagonal 3D mesh, which constitutes the basic structure of the pad, comprises two types: small and large. The bridge connecting the basic units was designed as the I-type, V-type, IV-type, and VV-type. After evaluating the characteristics of the bridge, it was found that the V-type bridge had the highest flexibility and tensile elongation. The hip joint pad and knee pad were completed by combining the hexagonal 3D mesh structure with the optimal bridge design. The impact protection pad was printed using a fused deposition modeling-type 3D printer with a filament made of thermoplastic polyurethane material, and the protection pad's performance was evaluated. When an impact force of approximately 6,500N was applied to the pad, the force attenuation percentage was 78%, and when an impact force of approximately 8,000N was applied, the force attenuation percentage was 75%. Through these results, it was confirmed that the 3D-printed impact protection pad with a hexagonal 3D mesh structure connected by a V-shaped bridge developed in this study can adapt to changes in the body surface according to movement and provides excellent impact protection performance.

고속철도 교량의 동적거동에 미치는 탄성받침의 영향 (The Effects of Elastomer-Bearing on the Dynamic Behaviors of Bridge for KHSR)

  • 현재 시공 중에 있는 경부고속철도의 교량은 2경간 연속인 경우에 중앙교각에는 pot 받침이 설치되고 양끝단의 교각에는 pad 받침이 설치되고 있으나 기존의 고속주행하는 철도에 의한 교량의 동해석에서는 이러한 지점조건이 고려되지 않은 상태에서 이루어져다 본 논문의 목적은 이러한 지점조건의 상이성에 따른 교량의 거동파악에 있으며 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 이러한 지지점에사용된 탄성받침이 교량의 동적 거동에 미치는 영향에 관하여 연구하였다.

지진시에 교량의 탄성 받침을 표현하는 범용 연결 유한 요소 모델의 유도식 (Derivation of General Link Finite Element Equation representing Pad Shoe in Bridge under Earthquake)

  • When we numerically model the bridge under seismic condition, the full model combining the super-structure and the sub-structure is considered for the more accurate results than the separate model. In this case, the super-structure is connected with the sub-structure by the elastic pad shoe that is difficult to model, because it has the three translational elastic stiffness and the three rotational elastic stiffness. The two-node General Link element is derived in finite element equation representing such a pad shoe, and it is verified by comparing the one General Link element model with the corresponding three legacy spring element model. It is easy to model the pad shoe, if the General Link finite element is used. And the seismic analysis result of the bridge full model structure, which is modeled with the General Link element, has been compared with the one of the separate model structure. The present study gives. more conservative result than that of the separate model, which does not consider the dynamic behaviour of the sub-structure.

유연다물체동적해석을 이용한 무도상교량 침목패드의 최적 강성 산정 (Optimum Stiffness of the Sleeper Pad on an Open-Deck Steel Railway Bridge using Flexible Multibody Dynamic Analysis)

  • 레일장대화는 무도상교량의 소음, 진동, 충격 등의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 경제적인 방안 중 하나이며, 최근 연동식 침목고정장치를 이용한 SSF 공법이 개발된 바 있다. 이 연구에서는 연동식 침목고정장치 적용 시 레일 높이 조정 및 열차 통과 시의 충격 흡수를 목적으로 교량침목 하부에 삽입되는 침목패드의 최적 연직강성을 결정하는 과정을 제시하였다. 침목패드의 최적 연직강성 결정을 위하여 관련 기존 기준을 검토하였으며, 유연다물체동적해석을 통하여 침목패드의 연직강성 변화에 따른 주행안전성, 승차감 및 궤도의 안전성에 대한 지표들과 교량 응답 변화를 검토하였다. 유연다물체동적해석은 상용프로그램인 ABAQUS와 VI-Rail을 이용하여 수행하였다. 수치해석은 30m 상로판형교에 대한 교량모델을 이용하여 수행하였으며, 침목패드의 연직강성이 7.5kN/mm ~ 240kN/mm로 변화할 때 ITX 새마을, KTX 및 화차 통과 시의 응답을 산정하였다. 수치해석에 적용된 궤도구성품 조건에서 침목패드의 최적 강성은 100kN/mm로 산정되었다.

방진침목패드의 방진특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Anti-Vibration Characteristics of the Under Sleeper Pad)

  • It was estimated that the anti-vibration measures at the source location of railroad are the most active and effective ones. Among CWR(Continuously Welded Rail), elastic rail fastener, floating slab, ballast mat, under sleeper pad, etc. like these various kinds of measures in the source, under sleeper pad as an anti-vibration measure was constructed at the railroad track supporting structures in the Jeon-la Line. In this study, through the field measurement of vibration at the railroad track supporting structures and nearby the ground, the vibration reduction effect of under sleeper pad were evaluated by insertion loss. As a result, vibration reduction effects were 5.0∼12.5㏈ on the concrete slab of the bridge, 3.9∼7.5㏈ on the ground nearby the bridge respectively.

철도교량용 고무패드의 특성 및 강성 추정기법 (The Characteristics and Estimated Stiffness of Rubber Pads for Railway Bridges)

  • This study analyzed the characteristics of four kinds of bridge rubber pads and suggested how to determine the stiffness the pads. The stiffness of rubber pads can be estimated by a direct static test. In the procedure to estimate the stiffness of a pad, the dead load(preload) of a bridge and live load of a vehicle are considered. The polyurethane rubber pads have larger hardness than natural and chloroprene rubber pads and thus carry larger load bearing capacity. In addition, they showed higher stiffness with the same shape factor than the others and thus are more avaliable as for bridge bearings. Although natural and chloroprene rubber pads are elongated to large deformation in horizontal direction due to vertical loads, polyurethane rubber pads almost do not generate horizontal deformation due to vertical loads regardless to the thickness and hardness of the pads. Therefore, they do not need reinforced plate to restrict horizontal deformation.

소아(小兒) 안경(眼鏡)의 fitting에 관(關)한 고찰(考察) (A study on the fitting method for children's spectacles)

  • 소아용 안경의 temple부분은 알맞는 탄력성이 있고 bridge부분은 충분한 견고성이 있어야 하여, 옥형 사이즈나 temple의 길이는 적어도 3-4종류가 있는 안경테로 하여야 한다. 또 pad는 높아와 폭 및 각도 조정이 가능한 것을 선택해야 하며, pad와 temple의 접촉에 대한 보정력이 충분한 것을 선택해야 한다. pad의 fitting은 비능부(鼻陵部)에 작용하는 안경중량의 크기가 압력에 비례하므로 pad의 전면(全面)이 비능부(鼻陵部)에 균일하게 접촉할 수 있도록 fitting해야 하며, pad는 접촉면이 넓은 것이 좋다. 렌즈의 선택시 주의할 점은 렌즈의 도수가 강해 질수록 안경 총중량에 차지하는 렌즈중량의 비율이 커지므로 무게는 될 수 있는대로 가벼운 것을 선택해야 하고, 최소직경 생지렌즈로 하는 것이 좋으며, 깨어지지않고, 안전성이 뛰어난 프라스틱 렌즈를 사용하는 것이 적합하다.

SCM 420강의 프레팅 피로 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fretting Fatigue Characteristic of SCM 420 Steel)

  • Fretting fatigue behavior of SCM420 steel commonly used in the automotive industry for structural applications was investigated in this study. In addition, the effect of bridge pad on the fretting fatigue test was evaluated from different pad materials and following conclusions were drawn. Simple fatigue limit of SCM 420 steel was determined to be 350 MPa while this value was 225 MPa and 285.5 MPa with SCM420H and with SM45C pad, respectively. Reduction in fatigue limit was, thus found to be 35.7% and 17.9% with SCM 420H pad and SM45C pad, respectively. Results of fracture surface observation revealed that typical striation pattern of fatigue failure existed as well as dimpled and cleavage frature appearance was found in final fractured region. From the EDS compositional analysis, test sample and pad part all had high signals for oxygen and iron, suggesting that worn particles might be iron oxide, although exact chemical composition has to be confirmed. Considerable reduction in fatigue life was apparent in SCM 420 steel under fretting fatigue against simple fatigue. Such reduced fatigue life by fretting damage should be considered as an important factor not only in the viewpoint of repairing but also inevitably in the design stage of structural components.

  • The aim of the present study is the characteristics of bridge rubber pads and suggested how to determine the stiffness the pads. A disk bearing is operated as an elastic bearing in the vertical direction and is composed of a Polyether Urethane (polyurethane) disk for elastic support and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to accommodate movement. Static tests are conducted in a laboratory to determine the static behavior of a Polyurethane disk. Finite Element (FE) analysis is also performed to verify the static performance. For dynamic behavior, four disk bearings having the identical Polyurethane disk used in the static tests are installed in a full size railway bridge and tested under a running locomotive. From the tests results, the static and dynamic stiffness of disk bearings are estimated and compared with each other. In the procedure to estimate the stiffness of a pad, the dead load(pre-load) of a bridge and live load of a vehicle are considered.
