Adjective adjectives were derived for uniform color images of all eight airlines in Korea and analyzed the image of airline brand color. Based on the analysis of color images, the difference in perception according to the demographic characteristics of passengers was analyzed. When the colors of airline uniforms are mainly blue, sky blue, white and ivory, they have a lot of trust, neat and elegant images. Uniforms with primary colors such as red, orange and green beans are found to have a lot of cheerful, developmental and enterprising images. In addition, the empirical analysis of the impact of the customer's cognitive perception and favoritism on the uniform color image of the airline crew showed that the more positive the airline's positive perception of the uniform color image, the more positive the cognitive image is. In other words, the empirical analysis revealed that the airline's uniform color image, its cognitive image of the airline, and its popularity have significant positive relationships.

The subjects used for the study were 773 male and female consumers who were residents in Seoul. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-test, and chi-square test. The results showed that there were two sportswear segments : brand/design-oriented group and function-oriented group. Statistical analyses showed that the two sportswear segments were different in regard to sportswear benefits sought, domestic and imported brands attitudes, sportswear image preferences, and demographics. Brand/design-oriented group sought the benefits of sex appeal/impression improvement, individuality, and conspicuousness, had a more favorable attitude toward imported brands, and preferred a prestigious image. They were relatively younger and had a higher income. In the meanwhile, function oriented group sought a comfort benefit from sportswear, had a more favorable attitude toward domestic brands, and preferred simple and active images. There were more high school graduates and home makers in function-oriented group. The implications of the study were discussed.

  • This study utilizes structural equation modeling process to identify contributing factors that have been extracted through the first study of exploring library service and image building related factors. This study, specifically, tests the relationships between endogenous and exogenous variables that are assumed to have inherent relationships when building public library service image. As denoted from the first study, this one uses three dimensions and nine conceptual level constructs and 20 different measurement items for further test. The results of this study is that particular items to measure the image for the users would not have been fitted to the other set of samples. Also, there are differences between the two employee groups in the recognitions of images.

  • Despite the SKM Duyree shop's potentials, such as residing over the Samsung-dong, gangnam-gu one of the premier locations in Seoul, and offering a large shopping store, the old 'SKM Dutyfree' symbol [image #2] has become the burden for a company due to its low-profile brand quality and lack of location advertisements. Therefore, first, we have agreed to acquire the popular brand word 'COEX' and replace "SKM Dutyfree" to "COEX Dutyfree", and second, the new visual image has been created in order to create a synergy of the urban-look and the location-information. Therefore, the visual identity design concepts have been utilized in order to achieve such goals; first, promote the existing COEX-image and metropolitan-esque image. Second, unify the international-metropolitan looks of the COEX-mall, hotel, shopping center, exhibition, and airport terminal with location information. Third, deliver the new identity-design [image #1] of the fresh look(compare to competing dutyfree shops) and dynamic images.

  • The 'Collaboration Marketing' is at its prime in domestic-cosmetic market. It is one of the most well known strategic marketing methodologies that maximize customers' attention by combining visual images or illustrations with market's current best selling products. The ultimate goal of my study relies on analyzing the correlation between 'Collaboration Package-Design (CPD)' and customer's actual purchase. Literature research was conducted as the primary step for theoretical basis, while the secondary step mainly deals with three different types of existing 'collaboration marketing' in the worldwide cosmetic market. Lastly, an empirical study through hypothesis test, survey and in-depth interview was conducted. As the outcome of study, two among three hypothesis have been proven while 'Character collaboration' which based on the concept of 'Kidult' (combined concept of Kid and adult) is the most popular tool. This study supports the idea that consumers get more influences from 'image and scarcity' of CPD rather than the actual function or performance of cosmetic products.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the New-Hanbok styling of online shopping mall, and to also suggest a solution to the problems of the New-Hanbok styling and develop a progressive plan. The research method was to search six keywords related to 'Hanbok' in the search portal 'Naver' and select 14 Hanbok brand companies. A total of 412 pictures of products for the model used on main screen were analyzed among 14 companies. The results of analyzing the New-Hanbok styling are as follows. First, the New-Hanbok styling showed the unstructured characteristics like unconventional arrangement after getting out of the fixed form of traditional Hanbok styling elements. Secondly, diverse images were represented as the hairstyle and makeup were highlighted as the elements of New-Hanbok styling. Thirdly, the new, fresh, trendy, and fashionable New-Hanbok styling was shown through the mix-and-match of traditional Korean-style accessories and fashion jewelries. However, regarding the New-Hanbok styling shown in online shopping mall, the overlapped items were especially found while the difference in material, pattern, and color required to overcome this problem was insufficient. It was lacking in the styling consistency for the establishment brand image while the awareness of the importance of accessory styling was insufficient. The brand competitiveness of the New-Hanbok could be secured by raising awareness on differentiation, consistency, and importance through the styling elements such as item composition, material, pattern, color, hairstyle, makeup, and accessory of brand.

  • This study attempted to understand current status of overseas virtual fashion brands and analyze attributes of common digital fashion brands. Based on brand analysis criteria of previous studies, digital fashion brands were analyzed for brand concept, price range, characteristic elements, and attributes. Digital fashion design elements of items, colors, materials, patterns, and effects were analyzed by collecting images of brands' digital fashion design products. Digital fashion brands could be divided into experimental and creative digital fashion brands and digital fashion brands aiming for popular brands. This study introduces a creative fashion collection that experiments sustainability and future value. It shares a new way of self-expression and a playful culture centered on the younger generation. In terms of fashion design elements, fashion items were similar to the existing fashion category, but included other accessories that reflected the lifestyle of Generation Z. Silhouette expressed a minimalistic futuristic image centered on straight silhouettes. Color showed a bold and modern color image through black and color contrast. Unique patterns reflecting the concept of the brand appeared, centering on abstract and geometric patterns. Regarding materials and effects, new elements differentiated from existing fashion design area, showing meaningful characteristics. Digital materials are developed and proposed for sustainability. Materials (such as metal, glass, plastic) and effects (such as weightlessness, flames) expand impossible senses in reality and enable new fashion experiences. This is a case study of digital fashion brands. It is meaningful in that it identifies characteristics and discusses their values and meanings.
