  • As a result of evaluating the level of tritium emitted from the nuclear power plant in the environment and the human body, it was confirmed that tritium was detected in the environmental media and human urine samples to be investigated. It was found that the tritium was clearly detected. After the operation of the Tritium Removal Facility (TRF), which was operated for the purpose of removing tritium from the Wolsong nuclear power plant, the tritium emission showed a decreasing trend, and the tritium level in the environmental media also showed a tendency to decrease accordingly. However, for precise evaluation, it was necessary to select and investigate points by distance, season, and wind direction from the nuclear power plant, but it also showed characteristics that did not reflect this. As the cycle, etc., implemented the previous environmental monitoring program as it is, there was also a limitations in not being able to reflect the changing environment. Therefore, it is necessary to review and supplement the environmental monitoring investigation plan and results so far, and by applying the supplemented investigation plan to secure valid and reliable investigation results, it is judged that it will be an appropriate measure for environmental conservation and human protection in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop teaching learning process plans with problem-based learning using book-making applying to the "Dressing and Self Expression" unit and evaluate its effect in middle school home economics for first grade. We developed teaching learning process plans with problem-based learning using book-making including 9 teaching materials for teachers and 15 learning materials for students. Further, we conducted and investigated pre- and post-tests in a form of questionnaires in 167 students from a girls' middle school in Pusan. Teaching learning process plans with problem-based learning using book-making showed positive results in body satisfaction, such as reduction in distortion or less dissatisfaction regarding students' body images. Also, they were found to be less affected by sociocultural attitude towards appearance. The estimation of students included the positive contents that the class was interested with various materials and it provided them with a chance to understand their body. Meanwhile, minor comments pointed out lack of time and complained of the amount of assignments. With these results, we found that teaching learning process plans with problem-based learning using book-making was an appropriate model to achieve the purpose of this study and we suggested that this class might be applied to other units of middle school home economics.

  • A new construction methodology has been proposed on a scientific basis to reason a rational explanation for the structure and the present configuration of Chum-Sung-Dae. This is because there is no way to otherwise explain the gap between our expectation that the people in Shilla are assumed to be and the problems, such as the use of a temporary supporting structure including falsework, the use of a conveying device for stonework and the practice of soil fill, raised when the construction method in nowadays is applied to the structure. Furthermore, it is because the questions, such as the difference of an azimuth angle between the southward opening and the square podium, the skewed circular plan in layers of the body, misalignment between neighboring layers of the body, disagreement between the inclination due to slight sidesway and the eccentricity in each layer of the circular body, perfectly aligned vertical and horizontal joints and the existence of soil fill, raised from the present configuration of Chum-Sung-Dae, also require a reasonable explanation based on scientific evidences, if any. Therefore, the proposed new construction methodology, in which the soil hill outside as well as the soil fill inside the Chum-Sung-Dae may have been utilized as a temporary scaffolding system for construction, is the highly probable one that the builders of Chum-Sung-Dae might have inevitably employed. The existence of great tombs, scattered in Hwang-Nam-Dong close to Chum-Sung-Dae, implies that the people of Shilla might have accepted the proposed new construction methodology as a natural one.

  • Conservation measures for excavated and surveyed buried cultural heritages are decided by the administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration according to their scientific and historic values. However, management, preservation, and use after relocation and restoration remain unsystematic. An issue regarding preservation plan and use has arisen due to the damage of preserved heritages and protective facilities. Thus, this study aims to suggest a plan for preservation and use by investigating the present conditions of the preserved heritages in the Chungbuk area. Results showed that there are 43 preserved heritages in Chungbuk, most of which remain unmanaged systematically irrespective of the managing body. Remainder and protective facilities have been damaged due to wrong preservation treatments and selection of materials, and a problem also rises in terms of utilization, such as exhibition, education, and experience of preserved heritages. To improve such problems, a medium and long-term plan shall be established for the improvement of legal and institutional instruments, securing of budget, increase in professional manpower, development of standardization and inspection manuals, continuous monitoring, preventive preservation, research on relocation methods and materials, listing, and the creation of specialized museum and complex theme park. If a preservation plan suited to the investigated heritages can be developed, heritages can be preserved and managed more systematically and scientifically, and be used for various purposes like education, exhibition, public relations, etc.

  • The purpose of this study is to formulate various improved working schemes in determining the definition of non-permissible activities to strengthen the practical implementation and operation of the integrated coastal management plan for regional self-governing authorities In this study, non-permissible activities indicate any activities which should be restricted according to the coastal functions of five different sectors in the regional plan for coastal management. Coastal management plan, are classified into four areas along the coast to use direction. It prohibited and support matters of another coastal exploitation each area. If you want to set the coastal area, has already been specified in the regional and global based on that region Land use planning and urban planning. When additional area settings in some cases may lead to conflicting results. Analyzes the factors to consider about the range and use areas set of in coastal management, It is necessary to strive for deriving a scheme to solve the existing contradiction between the state of the local - area specified problem. With the help of marine spatial planning and pointed out institutional and urban planning system to be utilized in land in the ocean for a more accurate and efficient coastal management, and registered the coastal areas, there is a need to manage. Land -use planning, consideration of another consultation body organization that is able to develop a plan that was comprehensive and marine spatial planning, The contradiction consider to specify the various areas and regions where other specific identification method is determined, Setting the range of coastal waters (within 3 nautical mile), I was exploring the coast registration scheme and registration target, etc.

  • Animal phyla in the traditional animal phylogeny were organized into an order of increasing body plan complexity, which was based on the similarities in early embryonic stages. Molecular phylogeny mainly by 18S rRNA data provides recently re-evaluation of the traditional evolutionary scenario. The current molecular-based view of animal relationships strongly suggest the burst of two groups regraded as intermediate grades of body complexity in the traditional concept and displacement of them into higher positions in the tree. The new animal tree provides a framework within new picture of bilaterian ancestor could be drawn, and comparative developmental and genomic data to be interpreted.

  • During the Viet Nam war, A Luoi located in Thua Thien Hue Province was heavily sprayed herbicides by the Ranch Hand Operation of U.S.A force (549.274 gallons). After 30 years of knocking the operation off, Dioxin has still contaminated on environment and human body in A Luoi valley. The results of the study show that there is an epidemiological relationship between AO/Dioxin exposure and increasing rate of reproductive anomalies and birth defects (the rate of reproductive anomalies including congenital deformities after the war during 10-year and 25-year is higher than that before the war from 1.5 to 4 times). The study found that the highest rate of reproductive anomalies is spontaneous abortion. The average is premature death and congenital deformities, and the lowest rate is dead foetus and hydratidiform mole. The results of the primary assessment suggested that Dioxin transport from environment to human body through the food chain exposed by Dioxin such as fish, chicken, duck. A mitigation plan for residual dioxin contamination from Agent Orange Hervicides is requeste indispensable to inhabitants in Aluoi District.

  • To devise a plan to efficiently control and cope with musculoskeletal disorders, this study conducted a self-administered survey among dental hygienists working at dental clinics in Daegu. The data were collected from December 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014, and drew the following conclusions. For body posture for medical procedures, at lower levels in their careers, the hygienists' head and back were more bent; at higher levels in their careers, the their shoulders, body and hips were more bent; and at higher levels in their careers, their assistance posture in general was more bent. Hygienists with longer years of experience had more pain in the neck and the arms/elbows. Respondents engaged in medical treatment services were more likely to have pain in their arms/elbows, and those engaged in assisting in medical treatment and consulting and insurance services were more likely to have pain in their necks. It is necessary to recognize the seriousness of musculoskeletal disorders, provide specific education through supplementary training and relevant seminars, and avoid repetitive use of the same muscle or joint through environmental improvement of dental clinics, and personal efforts should be made to maintain good posture.

  • Korean High Speed Train(KHST) has been tested on the high speed test line in Osung site, since it was developed through the G7 Project Plan in 2002. It was also tested on the conventional line such as KyongBu and Honan Line to know the possibility of increasing the limited speed for the high speed trains. This paper introduces the method to improve the speed on the conventional line with body lateral acceleration among the several considered issues and explains the parameters related to those analysis, such as the cant deficiency, the radius of curve, speed and etc. When a train pass on the curved track, the lateral accelerations of body are divided into the quasi-static and the maximum accelerations according to the UIC 518 which is the international specification for testing and approval of railway vehicles from the point of view of their dynamic behaviour, especially for safety and ride comfort. This paper shows that it is safe and comfort from the results of test when KHST runs on the conventional line with the curves and proposes that the limited speed of conventional curved line could be changed to a little higher speed if the analysises of other fields are completed.
