The purpose of this study was to analyzed body movement of the right and left directions relative to stance width. Seven college students(male, height $174.9{\pm}4.8cm$, weight $70.9{\pm}6.6kg$) participated in this study. For the purpose of this study, nine high-speed cameras and two force plates was utilized. Stance width was limited into small stance width(mean 42.9cm) and large stance width(mean 65cm). The results showed that (1) the small stance width took shorter time than the large stance during landing of the right feet to toe-off; (2) the small stance width was took longer movement of the right feet after split step comparing to the large stance; (3)there was no significant difference in the speed of center of gravity between toe-off and maximum speed; (4) the small stance width was greater angles to hip joint and knee joint during toe-off of the right feet comparing to the large stance; (5) the was no significant difference in values for force plates between the small stance and the large stance width during toe-off of the right feet.
The purpose of this study is grasp the problem of the gymnast, Kim, Dong-Hwa's Kip to Swallow Motion in Rings, and make up for the weak points to help him to perform a better performance. Therefore, two tryouts for $28^{th}$ Athens Olympic Games were filmed using video camera then finalized with Kinematical Analysis using 3D motion analysis program followings are the form of conclusions. 1. In the very first tryout, when he was doing a Swallow Support Scale, his CM position was high and arm slope was deduction because when he was doing Kip, the ascent velocity was low and he tried excessively to pull him on rings due to relying upon angular movement of shoulder joint. 2. When he was doing drop, he let his hip angle bend only little bit and let fall so making shoulder angle wider and maintain the level horizontally occurs strong drop motion when vertical descent is happening. 3. As a result, lowering the direction of a kick makes CM's movement path lower, increase vertical ascent velocity, and it helps to do the Swallow Support motion in short period of time. 4. After a strong drop motion, which is deep and fast, would make rope of ring shake so there is a defect that the body moves to forward area. However, it does not effect in Swallow Support Scale motion. 5. In the second tryout, trunk rotation angle and arm slope was fixed decrease while doing rotary motion. When rotary motion was happening, before the body was going under the rings, maintained his arm slope horizontally so his Swallow Support Scale motion was nearly perfect.
Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical usefulness of M-test (Meridian test) as an adjunctive evaluation and treatment in patients with chronic neck pain. Methods This study was a single arm pre-post comparison study. Thirty-six eligible subjects with chronic neck pain were recruited from August to September, 2015. M-test was used for evaluating the condition of meridian, which can induce the limitation of ROM and body discomfort. Subjects were offered intradermal acupuncture treatment on one-acupoint for 48 hours. Cervical numeric rating scale (NRS), cervical range of motion (ROM), neck disability index (NDI) and surface electromyography (SEMG) were measured before and after the treatment. Total NRS and the number of movement limitation of M-test were also measured before and after the treatment. Results Among the 36 participating subjects, 4 subjects were lost to follow-up or excluded in accordance with the criteria. Significant differences on Cervical NRS and NDI were found after the treatment (p<0.001). There was a significant difference in the range of left cervical rotation (p<0.05). Root mean square (RMS) of SEMG significantly decreased on the right sternocleidomastoid muscle (p<0.05), but significantly increased on the right trapezius muscle (p<0.05). Median frequency (MdF) of SEMG significantly increased on both sternocleidomastoid muscles. There appears to be significant differences after the treatment in total NRS and the number of movement limitation of M-test (p<0.05). Conclusions These results suggest that the evaluation and treatment of M-test based on the meridian and collateral theory were effective on cervical NRS and NDI, and also improved the movability of human body.
The purpose of the study was to examine formative features of embroidered norigae in form, color, pattern and expressive technique through positive analysis of relics and various of collections of work and to consider expressive features of embroidered norigae. The results of the study were as follows. First, embroidered norigae has handcrafted decoration. it was made by being sewed for women longing for their family's happiness. Embroidered norigae is a dress worn by women that is hung on a coat string or the waist part of a skirt. Second, it is eco-environmental. Embroidered norigae applied things seen in nature such as flowers, butterflies and bees to its pattern. Third, it has practicality. Embroidered norigae has high practical value besides a decorative function. Needle case norigae and incense case norigae provide functions in accordance with women's wisdom and skill as well as practicality. Fourth, it is praying for good luck. Women embroidered patterns symbolizing their desires in life such as their family's happiness, wealth, many sons and a long life. Fifth, it has balance and harmony. The knot of embroidered norigae has a perfect symmetry in the front/back part and in the right/left part. And the main body and tassel are symetrical in the right/left part, which gives stability and comfortableness. Embroidered norigae is classified into knot, main body and decorative part in its form. The three kinds express their unique beauty by being harmonized together. Finally, it has a property of melody. Movement of the tassel has a property of melody shaken by the wind and movement of its wearer.

This study researches the historical production, process, and design method for 3 pairs of corsets in $18^{th}$ century France. In the analytical stage of historical materials, it grasped the kind, form, origin, and change in style through a lexical definition of relevant terms. Through a precedent study on Garsault's 'L'art du tailleur', preservation costume, and historical reconstruction of pattern in preservation costume, it confirmed corps size, silhouette, pattern form, and material for historical production. The sewing method and the producing sequence were analyzed. In the production stage, 3 selective models in corps plein baleine, corps demi-baleine, and corset were historically produced. With neckline of forming broad Letter U, the bust part is covered roundly. The bodice was composed of 10 panels based on the corps form in the mid-$18^{th}$ century of following a curve of a human body. A shoulder strap was allowed to make the arm movement comfortable by producing and attaching it separately. The cutting line except the center in the front and the back of vertical line was distributed according to the natural flow of a form and movement of the human body. The curve-based pattern line was confirmed.

Cigarette smoking has been known to have a few beneficial effects on some neuronal diseases such as Alzheimer's disease(AD), Parkinson's disease(PD) and prion disease by scrapie agent shows many similar properties with AD. In this respect, we investigated what biological effects are exerted by cigarette smoke exposure(CSE) in the brain of mouse infected by 87V scrapie. The scrapie agent was inoculated through stereotaxic microinjection of the homogenates of the scrapie agent infected brain into the intracerebral system in the 1M mice. The inoculation into mice typically exhibits neurochemical, physiological and histopathological characteristics of prion disease: loss of neurotransmitters and induction of astrocytosis and vacuolation in brain as well as reduction of spatial movement and loss of body weight. CSE led to alleviated the loss of body weight and also improved spatial movement of the infected mice. Most interestingly, CSE attenuated astrocytosis and vacuolation caused by scrapie infection in the brain. In addition, decreased levels of dopamine in striatal and hypothalamic regions as well as serotonin level in hippocampus caused by scrapie infection were also attenuated by exposure to cigarette smoke. These findings suggest that cigarette smoke, by its inhibition of astrocytosis and vacuolation followed by its restoration of levels of some neurotransmitters, may partly contribute to suppression in the progress of neurodegeneration caused by scrapie infection.

A computer model of the musculoskelotal system that provides accurate prediction of muscle force and body movement trom the stimulation input is desired for the effective control system design in FES. This paper aims to investigate the fundamental properties of the gradual muscle force potentiation that was not included in the previous muscle models, for future development of a model that provides vetter prediction of FES-induced muscle force and body movement. Specifically, hou the muscle length was investigated. The experimental results showed that both the force increment ratio and the time-to-peak during electrical stimulation decreased with stimulatino frequency. When the muscle potentiation state was saturated by preceding stimulation. the force did not increase any more during additive stimulation. Muscle length significantly affected the force potentiation in such a way that the force increment ratio decreased with muscle length. A new model of the muscle potentiation based on these results is desired in the future.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of thickness of the sleeping pad on the physiological responses and the microclimate in the heating ondol room during sleeping time. The measuring points were skin temp., weight loss and body movement as physiological responses and the compression ratio, the temp. on/under the sleeping pad, the inside limp. of the sleeping quilts and subjective sence while 7 hours sleeping. Thickness of sleeping pads was 27.2 mm(A), 34.8 mm (B), 47.9 mm(C) used for 90 days and no used pad 60.7 mm(D). The floor surface temp. was keeping $29{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ while the environmental conditions was at $23{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ ($50{\pm}5\%$ R.H.) The results were as followings; 1) The mean compression ratio after using the sleeping pads for 45 days was about $70\%$ , and it wasn't increased any more thereafter 2) After 2 hours sleeping the temp. under the sleeping pads was shown that C and D were higher than A and B, and the temp. on the sleeping pads was shown that A and C pads were higher than B and D. But after 3-4 hours sleeping the skin temp. of legs was shown that B and D pads were higher than A and C. 3) Weight loss for C pad was significantly higher than others. Body movement and side position in tying was higher in A and C pads than B and D. 4) The inside temp. of quilt for A and C pads were higher in the early part of sleeping period than those of B and C pads and relative humidity was lower in C than others. 5) D pad was softer than others and fatigue degree was turned out to be lowest in D, the highest in A. From this point of view, we concluded that thickness of the sleeping Pad in the heating ondol room had different characteristic from that in no heating ondol room. And 35 mm used pad was turned out to be proper.

This paper proposes a framework for creating acrobatic scenes such as soccer ball lifting using various users' videos. The proposed method can generate a desired result within a few seconds using a general video of user recorded with a mobile phone. The framework of this paper is largely divided into three parts. The first is to analyze the posture by receiving the user's video. To do this, the user can calculate the pose of the user by analyzing the video using a deep learning technique, and track the movement of a selected body part. The second is to analyze the movement trajectory of the selected body part and calculate the location and time of hitting the object. Finally, the trajectory of the object is generated using the analyzed hitting information. Then, a natural object lifting scenes synchronized with the input user's video can be generated. Physical-based optimization was used to generate a realistic moving object. Using the method of this paper, we can produce various augmented reality applications.
