만5세 또래 인기아의 행동특성에 대한 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Five-year-old Popular Child's Behavior Patterns)

  • 본 연구에서는 만5세 인기아의 행동특성을 살펴보기 위하여 참여관찰을 통해 수집한 자료를 질적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 P시에 소재한 D어린이집의 만5세 반 유아들 중 또래 지명법을 활용하여 선정된 또래인기아를 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 참여관찰은 2017년 4월부터 11월까지 36회에 걸쳐 또래관계를 가장 자연스럽게 관찰 할 수 있는 자유선택활동 시간을 중심으로 이루어졌으며, 교사와 유아를 대상으로 형식적 비형식적 면담, 부모상담일지, 유아관찰일지, 가정 기초 조사서 등을 참고하여 관찰한 내용에 대한 이해를 도왔다. 자료의 분석은 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 전사, 코딩, 주제 생성의 세 단계를 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인기아는 또래와의 상호작용 속에서 배려, 책임감, 높은 집중력, 풍부한 유머감각을 보이는 등 긍정적인 행동이 두드러지게 관찰되었다. 둘째, 인기아는 놀이 참여 시 통제, 따돌림 등 부정적인 행동들도 함께 관찰되었다. 인기아의 행동특성을 분석한 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 유아교육기관이나 가정에서 유아가 긍정적인 또래관계를 형성할 수 있도록 지원하는 프로그램 계발 및 교육환경 조성을 위한 구체적인 근거와 올바른 방향을 제시하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

어린이집 실내놀이 영역 계획을 위한 유아의 놀이행위 관찰 연구 - 한국과 미국의 어린이집 이용 유아를 대상으로- (Observation Research on Preschoolers' Play Behavior for the Design Plan for the Indoor Play Area of Day Care Centers - Focusing on Preschoolers of Day Care Centers between Korea and US -)

  • As the population of preschooler increases with the increment of employed women today, the physical environment of day-care center is becoming an important factor for the preschooler as well as home environment. In order to create a suitable and desirable day-care environment for preschoolers, the using behavior of the preschoolers, who are the main users, needs to be applied to the spacial design. In this research, play preference area of Korea and United States which have different physical environments are analyzed. Child behavior observation analysis technique, interview with the teacher in charge, floor plan and furniture arrangement plan of the day-care centers and photography were performed for this research. The subjects were 63 preschoolers of 50 months old who are using Korean and American day-care centers and play of five minutes per preschooler was filmed for 3 days. Total 01 189 motion pictures were analyzed for this research. As a result, the physical environment, programs, preference area and finally the similarity and difference according to the gender were clarified for each countries' day-care center. The Korean preschoolers preferred the block area most, the second most favorite area being art for the younger class and language for older class. According to the gender, girls preferred language area while boys chose block area. On the other hand in American preschoolers' case, due to the large variety of play area, the play preference was distributed among various area except several high preference area. Based on this research, when designing indoor play area of day care centers, the area of block, language, and art which are popular play preferences should be considered firsthand, and gender preference is also needed to be thought of. These results may be used as an important data for planning the day care center play area in the future.

교과교실형 운영 중등학교 홈베이스 운영실태 및 이용행태 분석 (An Analysis about Actual Condition and Behavior of Use in Homebase on Variation Type in Middle and High Schools)

  • This study is carried out to understand spacial characteristics, actual condition and behavior of use about homebase managed in variation type. Observation about moving line of students and questionnaire were tried to satisfy this purpose. As a result, classroom used as variation type for long time stay and homebase outside the classroom for short time stay were paralled managed in most schools. Density of school furniture in homebase of observed schools was about 36-37%, occupying area of each student was about $0.3-0.6m^2$. It was relatively low with the results of 45-54% and $0.94-1.15m^2$ observed in Japan schools, respectively. By the analysis about behavior of use through cross section of observation, the difference of staying time and personnel exchange between the students was higher at the school having homebase composed with various corners more than the school used it only as a locker room.

Movement Pattern Recognition of Medaka for an Insecticide: A Comparison of Decision Tree and Neural Network

  • Behavioral sequences of the medaka (Oryzias latipes) were continuously investigated through an automatic image recognition system in response to medaka treated with the insecticide and medaka not treated with the insecticide, diazinon (0.1 mg/l) during a 1 hour period. The observation of behavior through the movement tracking program showed many patterns of the medaka. After much observation, behavioral patterns were divided into four basic patterns: active-smooth, active-shaking, inactive-smooth, and inactive-shaking. The "smooth" and "shaking" patterns were shown as normal movement behavior. However, the "shaking" pattern was more frequently observed than the "smooth" pattern in medaka specimens that were treated with insecticide. Each pattern was classified using classification methods after the feature choice. It provides a natural way to incorporate prior knowledge from human experts in fish behavior and contains the information in a logical expression tree. The main focus of this study was. to determine whether the decision tree could be useful for interpreting and classifying behavior patterns of the medaka.

  • This paper proposes modeling of human behavior and a method of finding irregular human behavior. At first, human behavior model is proposed by paying attention to habitual human behavior at home. Generally, it is difficult to obtain the information of individual life pattern because of high cost for setting sensors such as cameras to observe human action. Therefore we capture turning on/off consumer electronic equipments as actual human behavior action, where some or many consumer electric equipments were used such as television, room light, video and so on in our daily life. Noting that are some relations between turning on/off those consumer electric equipments and our action, we proposes how to construct a human behavior knowledge by analyzing human behavior based on observation of human habitual life. Also an algorithm to identify on find irregular behavior different from habitual life behavior are described. Finally, the significance of the proposed method is shown by some experimental results.

동물 이상행동과 지진전조 가설검증 연구동향 및 한계점 (Literature Review on the relation between Animals Unusual Behavior and Premonitory Symptoms of an Earthquake)

  • 대형재해 발생 전 동물 이상행동 목격사례가 심심치 않게 보도되고 있다. 동물 이상행동이 대형재해 발생과 연관이 있을까, 그렇다면 재해발생을 예지할 수 있을까? 본 연구의 목적은 동물 이상행동과 지진전조 관련 선행연구 고찰을 통해 이에 대한 해답을 탐구(探求)해 봄에 있다. 본 연구에서는 분석방법론에 따라 사례조사, 실험분석, 관찰 분석을 통한 가설검증 연구와 그 한계점을 고찰하였다. 선행연구는 결과적으로 '동물 이상행동을 전조현상으로 볼 수도 있다'와 '보기 어렵다'로 이분되며, 양쪽 모두 다수의 연구가 수행되었다. 그러나 관련연구에서는 데이터의 신뢰성 검증이 어렵고, 우연하게 계측된 데이터의 적은 샘플 수, 적합한 데이터 확보의 어려움 등 공통된 한계점을 지적하고 있다. 이에 지진예지에의 활용 가능성 검토단계에 이르기 위해서는 동물 이상행동과 지진발생과의 인과관계에 대한 과학적 검증이 선행되어야 한다.

Observation of Spatial and temporal variability of sea skin surface temperature by a Thermal Infrared Camera

  • The MUBEX (MUtsu Bay sea surface temperature validation EXperiment) campaign has been held from 1995 to 1997 in summer. During the MUBEX campaign, a thermal infrared camera (TIC) installed on a research vessel, which was also equipped with other various observation devices, was intensively used to observe microscopic structure of sea skin surface temperature (SSST) behavior. We have now a total number of 500,000 images observed by the TIC under various weather conditions, i.e., very calm or wavy sea condition, and clear, patchy or cloudy sky condition. In this paper, we show typical SSST patterns observed by the TIC, and describe the result of statistical analysis of SSST.
