The Effect of Self-leadership, Empowerment, and Self-efficacy of Hair Salon Workers on Job Performance

  • This study is to investigate factors that influence job performance of hair salon workers such as self-leadership, empowerment, and self-efficacy. Data were collected by distributing 450 questionnaires to hair salon workers in the S. Excluding the questionnaires with insufficient responses, 433 copies were used for analysis with SPSS 26.0 for Windows. The survey was conducted from March 21 to 27, 2022. As a result of the analysis, first, the self-leadership of hair salon workers was found to have an effect on job performance. Second, the empowerment of hair salon workers was also found to have an effect on job performance. Third, the self-efficacy of hair salon workers was found to have an important effect on job performance. This study is expected to contribute to the development of hair salon workers by identifying ways to maximize job performance and increasing customer satisfaction.

미용실(Beauty salon) 근로자들의 유기용제 폭로와 자각증상에 관한 연구 (Exposure of Organic Solvent Mixtures and Subjective Symptoms to Beauty-Salon Workers)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the health of beauty salon workers through the utilization of questionnaires concerning the extent of exposure to organic solvents found in the air of some beauty salons and any resultant symptoms in employees. The subjects were 36 employees from 10 beauty salons who agreed to participate in this study. The degree of exposure to organic solvents in the air of beauty salons was measured from September 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008. A survey of symptoms that occurred due to exposure to these solvents was also performed. The results were as follows: questionnaires were collected and analyzed from a total of 36 subjects. Of these, 28(77.8%) were female and 8(22.2%) were male. The mean age was 29.08. The mean working period was 7.13 years. Sixteen subjects attended programs at universities while 11 went to beauty schools for vocational education. When testing the concentration of organic solvents in the air of beauty salons, the highest value found was Isopropyl alcohol 511.85 ppb followed by butyl acetate, toluene, acetone, xylene, ethyl benzene, styrene, and chlorobenzene. A logistic regression analysis was performed as follows: the point of each factor was the dependent variable while sex, age, drinking, smoking, educational level, work experience, hairdresser's license, and organic solvents were the independent variables. Statistically significant difference (p<0.05) was shown in the hairdresser's license among Factor 1 and in Xylene among Factor 2; however, difference was not shown in the other variables.

소규모 헤어살롱 경영 성공요인에 관한 연구 (A study on the Success Factors in Small Hair Salon Management)

  • 현재 뷰티 산업은 나날이 포화상태에 이르고, 경쟁은 날로 심해져만 가고, 갈수록 영리해지고 변덕스러워지는 헤어살롱 고객의 까다로운 기대와 욕구는 높아져만 가고 있다. 특히 소규모 헤어 살롱에서 경쟁우위를 확보하고 고객을 만족시켜 고객의 충성도를 획득하고 유지하는 패턴은 더욱 더 힘들어 지고 있다. 헤어살롱을 방문하는 고객의 욕구는 다양한 헤어 디자인은 물론이고 또 다른 개인의 니즈에 맞는 서비스를 요구하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 소규모 헤어 살롱의 경쟁력은 고객서비스를 위한 각고의 노력과 정성, 고객에게 만족하고 어울리는 헤어 스타일의 제공과 헤어 디자인에 대한 전문성, 고객과의 신뢰를 바탕으로 이루어지고 있다는 점에 역점을 두고 헤어 살롱의 매출 증대와 고객의 충성도를 높여 헤어살롱의 지속가능한 성공요인 현황분석에 목적을 두었다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 기술이 뛰어남, 서비스의 우수성, 합리적인 가격, 헤어 살롱의 위치, 광고 및 홍보, 단독 매뉴얼의 품질요인, 기술 교육 및 인성교육의 요인, 사후 서비스 요인, 고객유지 요인, 고객관계관리 요인, 정보품질 요인을 위한 지속적인 개선과 개발의 필요성이 요구된다.

서비스 경험과 브랜드 명성이 구전의도에 미치는 영향: 미용실서비스를 중심으로 (Effects of Service Experience and Brand Reputation on Intention by Word of Mouth : Focused on Beauty Salon Service)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the influences of service experience and brand reputation on intention by word of mouth(WOM) when consumers get experiences at beauty salon. We made 2(valence of service experience: positive/negative) ${\times}$ 2(brand reputation level: high/low) subjects experimental design in order to find reason that there is a significant difference of intention by word of the mouth between positive experience condition and negative experience condition. Also we tried to find the interaction of two factors. To test our hypothesis, an experiment was performed on 68 university students in seoul area. Specifically, we used 2-way ANOVA and planned contrast method through SPSS 12.0 procedure. As a result, a two-way ANOVA demonstrated a significant main effect of service experience, which means that people more intend to make WOM when they experience a negative service than a positive service. Also the ANOVA showed a significant interaction effect between service experience and brand reputation, which represents that people more intend to make WOM for high-reputed(low-reputed) brand than low-reputed(high-reputed) brand when they encounter negative(positive) services.

  • This paper suggests the system for searching and application is to be in combination between existing hair art area and Image/Video processing area. This proposed system usually saves various hair types into a database, then, users send images of their face over the internet by using WebCam. Finally, they can find the hair types for users. Hair cutting is technology that form draft to make hair style. Man cut must decide how in image of sinciput, image of side bean curd, after lower image must operate. Silhouette is produced as is different by change of this three places. Customer increases in the beauty salon and beauty salon chain being changed, research about beauty art is necessary point of time. In this treatise, our country of when swim and operate haircut about problem that happen sample survey and analysis.

문제성 발톱 인식과 네일샵 추천의도의 관계 검증 (Verification of the relationship between problematic toenails recognition and nail salon recommendations)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 네일샵 이용자들이 네일샵 추천의도의 영향요인을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 수도권 10대~50대 남녀 305명의 설문자료를 수집한 뒤 불성실한 응답과 문제성 발톱이 없는 170명을 제외한 135명 자료로 활용하였다. 분석 결과 문제성 발톱유형에 따른 차이에서는 내성발톱이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가(F=5.588, p<.01), 발 관리 장소에 따른 차이에서는 발관리 행동은 홈케어(집)/민간요법/약국(F=4.319, p<.01), 문제성 발톱에 대한 네일샵 추천의도에서는 네일샵이 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(F=15.152, p<.01). 또한 네일샵의 문제성 발톱케어 가능인지, 네일샵에서 문제성 관리여부, 발관리 행동, 전문성 인식에 따른 네일샵 방문의도가 네일샵 추천의도에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다(F=16.847, p<.001). 따라서 본 연구는 네일샵에서 문제성발톱 케어 인식도를 높이고, 문제성 발톱유형에 따른 개선 및 예방적용을 확장하는데 기초자료로 판단된다.

미용실의 입지특성과 서비스품질이 고객만족과 재방문의도에 미치는 영향 - 대학생의 성별조절효과 중심으로 - (The Effect of Location Characteristics and Service Quality of Beauty Salon on Customer Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit - Focusing on the Gender Control effect of University Students -)

  • This study examined the effect of beauty service location characteristics and service quality on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, and analyzed the gender control effect of location characteristics and service quality in the relationship with customer satisfaction. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was employed and analysis was conducted to investigate how location characteristics and service quality in beauty service encounters effects customer satisfaction. The results of this study are as follows. First, visibility, which is a location characteristic, was found to have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Second, professionalism and convenience, which are service qualities, were found to have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Third, customer satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on the intention to revisit. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the gender control effect in the relationship between location characteristics and service quality with customer satisfaction, the gender control effect was found in all factors.

1인 미용실 이용자의 라이프스타일 유형에 따른 점포선택요인 및 헤어스타일추구행동 차이 분석 (Analysis of differences in store choice and hairstyle pursuit behaviors according to lifestyle types of one-person hair salon users)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a lifestyle scale for one-person hair salon users and to identify differences in store choice factors and hairstyle pursuit behaviors according to lifestyle types. Data was collected by survey, with 225 responses being included in the analysis. Data analysis was performed using cross-analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's α, cluster analysis, ANOVA and the Duncan-test using SPSS 23.0 analysis software. The results of the study were as follows. First, one-person hair salon users were classified according to the following lifestyle groups: The rational appearance management group, the passive appearance management group, and the discriminative appearance management group. Second, store choice factors according to lifestyle group showed significant group-specific differences in relation to store atmosphere, accessibility, and promotion. Conversely, comfort of space in store and word-of-mouth recommendation message were high for all three groups, indicating that these are important factors in relation to store selection. Third, with regard to hairstyle pursuit behaviors according to lifestyle, the discriminative appearance management group showed the same characteristics as high involvement groups that regard all dimensions of hairstyle pursuit behavior as important. The results of this study can be used to suggest efficient operations for one-person hair salons and to suggest differentiated marketing strategies to increase the demand of one-person hair salon users.

뷰티살롱 종사자의 셀프 리더십이 조직시민행동과 이직의사에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Turnover Intention in Beauty Salon Employees)

  • 본 연구는 뷰티살롱 종사자의 셀프리더십이 조직시민행동과 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 직무만족의 조절효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 뷰티살롱 종사자 330명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며. SPSS v. 21.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 셀프리더십은 조직시민행동과 이직의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 셀프리더십이 직무만족에 의해 조절되는지를 확인하기 위해 독립변수로 셀프리더십을 모델I에, 조절변수로 직무만족을 모델II에, 셀프리더십과 직무만족의 상호작용 변수를 모델III에 차례로 투입하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 모델I, II, III 모두 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과로 산업체 관계자는 구성원 스스로가 업무를 성공적으로 수행하기 위한 셀프리더쉽을 강화하기 위해 기술 교육 뿐만 아니라 자기계발 교육이 강화되어야 할 것이다.

헤어미용전문대학생의 전공만족도와 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Hair and Beauty College Students' Major Satisfaction and Self-Efficacy on Career Preparation Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 헤어미용전문대학생들을 대상으로 전공만족도와 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위함이다. 연구대상은 G지역 헤어미용전문대학에 재학 중인 남·녀대학생 173명을 대상으로 2021년 3월 10일부터 25일까지 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그 중 150부를 최종적으로 SPSS.WIN 22.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 첫째, 헤어미용전문대학생의 전공만족도가 진로준비행동에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 둘째, 헤어미용전문대학생의 진로준비행동을 하는데 있어서 전공에 대한 만족도와 자기효능감이 매우 중요한 영향을 미친다는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 헤어미용전문대학생의 자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 직접적인 영향을 나타내어서 유의한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 조사되었다.
