  • This study was aimed at giving help to the people intending to change hair fashion feeling for making their own hair style design and also providing the academic guide line to the cosmetic circles for developing new hair design and promoting sales by producing hair styles following the results from the statistical analysis based on the theoretical study on the face contour groups & hair fashion feeling groups. The researching methods were composed of following 3 steps ; prior theoretical research, statistical analysis, and hair style production. At first, the prior theoretical research was accomplished by analysis of literatures, magazines and internet sites about face contour, total & hair fashion feelings, hair style productions. Second, the prior statistical analysis were done about hairstyle images & their charateristics based on fashion feelings, and characteristics of fashion feeling group. And the third, hair style productions were done coordinated by face contours(oval, circle, long, square, reverse triangle) and hair fashion feelings(natural, sexy, sophisticate, ethnic, romantic pretty, elegance, sporty, avant garde) following the statistical results. But owing to the limitations to change hair length and color, these changes are modified by wigs and photoshop 7.0 program. So we could know there was no confirmed hair fashion feeling of one's best, but one could change one's hair fashion feeling and express one's beauty if one could adjust one's hair styles properly to one's face contour. This study would be very helpful to the people trying to change their own hair fashion feeling and be useful to the cosmetic circles for developing new design and promoting sales by comprehending hair design market and also be valuable to develop the methodology of 3 step research.

We payed a particular attention to the data from such sources as newspapers, magazines or the articles in the Internet. The essence of our research lies in the analysis of target market, in the suggestions in the brand planning and product development and in the designs of fashion and interior products for them. The result of this research is as follows. First, it turns out that these neo-single women enjoy a kind of multi-mixing code lifestyle rather than showing a preference for a particular brand. For this reason, we have decided to pursue a multi-concept brand fonn as a right direction for brand planning for them. Second, as for a philosophy behind the brands, we suggest a concept of 'small utopia' for neo-single women and express such as new aristocracy, happiness and pleasure. Third, we adopt 'YOU' as the name of the brand as it reflects their various life styles and characteristics. Fourth, as for the product development of F/W in 2007, we have decided on 'Minimal Natural' as it mixes up the concepts of the controlled beauty of sophistication and multi-functional elements and 'Modern Primitive' as it expresses the ethnic elements on modern images having craft factors and modern images. We have performed concrete tasks in creating images, coloring, making fabrics for each theme. Fifth, we have chosen and suggested other products that are suitable for these neo-single women who seek for multi-functional but simple kinds after surveying a wide range of products in magazines or in the Internet.

  • This study aims to analyze contemporary women's sense of fashion aesthetic by looking into the design and trend of T-panties, which have now carved out a new niche in the world's 21st century female underwear markets. By this, I'd like to reassure readers of the importance of T-panties, which has only been recently recognized, and more generally suggests the future direction of prominent T-panty design development. First, western urban chic, Japanese minimalism and domestic modern feminine images all have common modern urban sense and simple designs. However, each image is not a simple image in itself. For example, in the case of western style they often seek to convey a sophisticated and stylish street sense, while Koreans add a more cute, lovely, and feminine touch. Second, western restrained eroticism, Japanese fetishism and domestic mono-bosom images all have a common interest in sex. They is something, however, which they all express this differently. In Japan, they prefer a stimulating image. In the West, however, this is restrained by controlling and limiting overt sexual elements, while in Korea, we seek to capture a more simple sensual beauty. Third, western couture luxury, Japanese orientalism and Korean utopia narcissism have classy images in common including splendid materials and decorations with embroidery. They all differ depending on their nationality. This study is baseds on the documents study. This study is baseds on the documents study.

  • This study divided hairpiece-related technologies into three categories: Materials, Structure, Hair Extensions. Then, it investigated the current patent application trends in the above technologies and attempted to determine what aspects should be focused on in terms of the growth potential of hairpiece-related technologies and future technologies. A hairpiece is used to cover a specific balding area resulting from innate factors such as heredity or acquired traits including disease or accident. It is also used to make short hair look longer. Recently, as the rates of hair loss caused by stress increase, there has been a rising demand for hairpieces that can quickly and conveniently cover a balding region as well as satisfy people's aesthetic needs through diverse hairstyling. Even though patents have been applied evenly across hairpiece technology fields, patent activity has declined since 2010 was confirmed. Therefore, this study targets the facilitation and expansion of the hairpiece technology market by suggesting desirable R&D directions for future hairpiece-related technologies after analyzing current hairpiece patent trends.
