부트스트랩을 이용한 소나무의 목재기본밀도 추정 및 평가 (Use of a Bootstrap Method for Estimating Basic Wood Density for Pinus densiflora in Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 부트스트랩 시뮬레이션(Bootstrap simulation)을 이용하여 소나무의 목재기본밀도를 평가하고자 하였다. 소나무의 목재기본밀도는 생태형에 따라 강원지방소나무와 중부지방소나무의 자료로 구분하여 분석하였다. 비모수통계 방법의 하나인 부트스트랩 시뮬레이션 기법을 이용하여 추정된 목재기본밀도는 강원지방소나무에서 0.418($g/cm^3$), 중부지방소나무에서 0.464($g/cm^3$)으로 나타났다. 부트스트랩 시뮬레이션에서 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000번 반복 시행한 결과에 의하면, 모수 추정치의 95%신뢰구간은 일정한 수치로 나타난 반면에, 표본오차는 감소하는 경향으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과로 제시된 목재기본밀도 추정치는 기존의 계수에 대한 단점을 보완하고, 신뢰성 높은 목재기본밀도 추정치로 적용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

  • 비대면 만남이 일반화 되는 시대에 기존의 사진/영상을 기반으로 한 온라인 만남에서 충족되지 못하는 영역을 확장현실이 빠르게 발전해 나가며 채워가고 있다. 하지만, 가장 보편적으로 확장현실을 경험할 수 있는, 손을 주요 입력도구로 하는 HMD(Head Mount Display)형 혼합현실에서 적용되고 있는 기본 조작들은 표준화 된 체계가 없고 각각의 제조사들에 따라 다른 손동작에 별개로 대응되어 동작하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 혼합현실에서 수행되는 조작들의 사용성과 효율성을 고려한 체계화된 손동작 매칭체계가 필요하다고 여겨 이를 규명하는 연구를 진행하였다. 먼저, MR환경에서 수행되는 기본적인 조작과 그 속성을 규명하였고, 동시에 손의 구조와 발생할 수 있는 손동작들의 속성들을 규명하였다. 규명한 속성들을 토대로 MR(Mixed Reality)환경에서의 기본조작과 손의 구조/맥락에 따른 미묘한 작동속성을 직관적이고 효율적으로 매칭할 수 있는 체계를 제시하고자 한다.

인체에 대한미의식에 따른 복식형태 -고대 이집트에서 낭만주의 시대까지- (The Form of Dress related to the Ideal Beauty of Body - from Ancient Egypt to the Romantic Period-)

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between the Ideal Beauty of Body and the Form of Dress, and to analyze its historical perspectives. First of all, the concept of the Ideal Beauty of Body, the definition of Dress Form, and the method and system to clarify Dress Form were depicted. Based on this frame work, the Form of Dress related to the Ideal Beauty of Body was described historically. For this purpose, documentary research were conducted and representative photography and paintings were used. The analysis was limited to the female one-Piece dress from Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, Byzantine, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Naoclassicism, and to Romanticism. The results were as follows: 1. The Ideal Beauty of Body was found to be different throughout history and to be intimate- ly linked with fashionable dress. 2. The Form of Dress consisted of four basic components: The form of body itself, the form of clothing itself, the method of wearing, and the relationship between body and clothing. 3. The standards for classification of body form were body structure, body type, body proportion, posture, and movement. Clothing form was generally classified into flat type (unstructured type) and three dementional type (structured type); flat type was subclassified into draped type and tunic type. The method of wearing was classified into attached type, tying-up type, wrap·around type, pull-over type, open type and plastistic type. The relationship between body and clothing after wearing was generally classified into body priority type and clothing priority type. The clothing priority type was further divided into body exaggeration type and body concealment type; Body exaggeration type was further divided into upward type, downward type, forward type, backward type, right type and constriction type. 4. The pursuit of venus coelestis, metaphysical body part, ectomorphic body type, flat type clothing, body priority type; the pursuit of Venus Naturalis, physical body part, endomorphic body type, three dementional type clothing, clothing priority type proved to be closely related respectively by the historical study on the Ideal Beauty of Body and the Form of Dress.

Testing the Geometry of AGN Tori through the Fraction of Optically-Selected Type 1 AGNs

  • According to the unified model of AGNs, type 1 and 2 AGNs are intrinsically the same objects but seem different due to an obscuring matter which can block lights from the central engine of the AGN depending on the viewing angle. The obscuring object is thought to be shaped in a toroidal form and thus the geometry of tori of AGNs is an important factor to determine the fraction of type 1 (or type 2) AGNs. Oh et al. (2015) provides a new catalog of type 1 AGNs from SDSS DR7 in the nearby universe (z < 0.2) and it contains nearly 50% more type 1 AGNs than previously known. Using this new catalog, we test the fraction of type 1 AGNs along the black hole mass (MBH) and the bolometric luminosity of AGNs (Lbol), which are regarded as key parameters of the AGNs. First of all, because the methods to derive the black hole mass and the bolometric luminosity bear uncertainties, we test how the different methods lead to different values of type 1 fraction. We found that the fraction of type 1 AGNs varies with both MBH and Lbol. The extensively-studied, "receding torus model" can only explain the trend along Lbol and hence fails to explain the trend. To understand the new trend, we test the geometry of the torus based on the "clumpy torus model". We present our results on the basic properties of the torus such as a column density or opening angle and compare with those from previous studies based on other wavelengths (e.g. Infrared or X-ray).

금강형 소나무림에 있어서 토양의 이화학적 성질 (Physicochemical Properties of Soil in Pine (Pinus densiflora for. erecta Uyeki) Forests)

  • Uyeki(1928) classified Pinus densiflora into six ecotypes(Northeastem type, Middle-southern flat type, middle-southern upland type, Wibong type, Ankang type, and Geumgang type) based on the pine tree type. The bark color of Geumgang type was ash-brown color on the lower parts of stem and yellowed color on the upper parts of stem. We investigated the physicochemical properties of soil forests to obtain basic data for preservation of exellent pine (Pinus densiflora for. erecta Uyeki). The results were as follows; The soil texture of the Pinus densiflora for. erecta Uyeki forests were showed nearly as sandy loam, that is, sand, silt and clay were consisted of 72%, 15% and 13%, respectively. Soil acidity(pH 4.6) was lower than Korea average forest soil acidity(pH 5.2). The average contents of available phosphate was 11.7ppm at Sokwang-ri, 26.8ppm at Mt. Eungbong, 24.2ppm at Mt. Kumma. It was the lowest at Uljin(4.6ppm). The contents of carbon was 6.2% at Mt. Chungok, 6.1% at Mt. Eungbong. This value was more than average of Korea forest soil.

Types of perception on the body shape of male university students

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development of clothing which can improve the satisfaction of male university students' body shape by classifying the perception of body shape and examining characteristics by type. The types of recognition of body shape of male college students were classified into five types: developed upper body with protruding under abdomen, normal body with long legs, developed under body with big skeleton, skinny body, and ladder type normal body. The actual body shape was classified into three. The Y type had a long chest length and a shoulder developed, and the lower body silhouette was plain and short. Type H was flat with little protrusion from the chest to the hip. Type X has a larger hip and longer hip length than the waist. Body type was classified based on bust, waist, and hip circumference, but recognition body type was classified based on visual characteristics. It is thought that ergonomic consideration is needed to cover the disadvantages of each body type considering the aesthetic part as well as wearing comfort in accordance with the trend of the fashion market nowadays that the slim fit is generalized. This study was limited to male university students in their early 20s in Chungbuk province. Therefore, we could not grasp attitudes and perceptions of male university students living in other provinces. Therefore, we should pay attention to the generalization of the results of this study.

  • We introduce Clapp-Puppe type generalized Lusternik-Schnirelmann (co)category in a Quillen model category. We establish some of their basic properties and give various characterizations of them. As the first application of these characterizations, we show that our generalized (co)category is invariant under Quillen modelization equivalences. In particular, generalized (co)category is invariant under Quillen modelization equivalences. In particular, generalized (co)category of spaces and simplicial sets coincide. Another application of these characterizations is to define and study rational cocategory. Various other applications are also given.

  • In this paper we addressed the basic concept of microstepping, analyzed the combined effect of the motor detent torque and the current profile, and implemented a microstepping drive system using an one-chip microprocessor, power MOSFET's, and a 1.8 degree bifilar-wound hybrid-type step motor excited by a bipolar drive. Experimental results show that microstepping produces greater resolution, eliminates resonant step loss, and reduces motor vibrations.
