  • Main concern of this subject is "hat type of hull shape is most important for building aluminum fishing vessel and suitable for domestic fisherman." For the this subject, We research from traditional hull shape of fiberglass fishing vessel and supply to our domestic fisherman with 3D render images. Following the above job making with concept design and basic drawing for product model. And most important research job with technical of aluminum vessel and products system and standard of job description. We filled two category with design and products for our domestic fisherman.

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose an interactive method, which is designed to select the optimal preferred alter-native for the MLDM(Multiple-the Larger-the better type Decision-Making) problems with the-larger-the-better quality characteristics. The basic idea of the paper is essentially to eliminate inefficient alternative based on the concept of Taguchi Signal-to-Noise ratios and the cutting range instead of using UVF(Utility/value Function) on the group of attributes that can be considered importantly by the decision makers. As a result, the method proposed in the paper for MLDM problems can be significant in that the change of characteristics is transformed into the size of Signal-to-Noise ratio, which can be relatively easy to understand by decision makers.

  • As a way of overcoming or improving the great depression in he world shipping and shipbuilding industries, a great effort has been made on the development of fuel-economic hull forms. Recently, the author(s) had presented part of the results of his study on this subject(full slow speed ships) in PRADS 83, and are presently carrying out the research program on the same subject for fine fast speed ships. This paper is the introduction and summary of the basic concept and mathematical treatment applied in this research.

  • The objective of this study is to design the technical information system for naval engineering (named TISNE). As the basic concept of the system, CALS (Continuous Acquisition and Life-cycle Support) and KMS(Knowledge Management System) were considered for the management and sharing of standardized digital information throughout the life-cycle of naval ship. To define the system components and their functionalities, the processes of naval ship design and construction were reviewed. Also web-based system prototype and the graphical user interlaces were designed and implemented.

  • It requires different safety programs from those of the typical train control systems to develop AGT systems applying train control system based on communication technology. Especially Advanced LRT system involves the processes that have the various safety functions being conducted by softwares and also have characteristics that should have special interest in validation of interface specification. The core items for the safety engineering for LRT control systems are hardware & software engineering, safety-critical system safety engineering, application software validation & verification technologies. In this paper the trends of the technologies for the mentioned core-items are described.

  • This article studied on international trade dispute of enforcement procedure of foreign arbitral awards at Korean Supreme Court, which is especially related to New York Convention article 5, The key points of most enforcement procedure were about public policy according New York Convention article 5, 2, b and New York Convention article 5, 1. Particularly, Judgement of public policy from Supreme Court represented that the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral award is to present and protect basic moral conviction and social order from spoiling, and not only domestic situation but also international stability of transaction should be taken into consideration in judging on recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral award, which is construed under certain limitation.   • In this paper, some popular intensity measures of earthquakes including magnitude, MMI, and PGA as well as their empirical relationships are briefly reviewed since they have been widely used without prudence by mass media, the public, and even the government when asking or expressing the seismic capacity of buildings. The basic concept of current seismic design is also presented in order to facilitate relevant discussions. It is emphasized that expressing the building seismic capacity simplistically in terms of seismological quantities or terminologies like magnitude and MMI is inherently irrational, may be misleading the stakeholders, and should be avoided. Alternative expressions, more rational and consistent with current seismic design philosophy and practice, are recommended.

  • As a result of quickly growing data, a digital transmission system is required to deal with the challenge of acquiring signals at a very high sampling rate, Fortunately, the CS (Compressed Sensing or Compressive Sensing) theory, a new concept based on theoretical results of signal reconstruction, can be employed to exploit the sparsity of the received signals. Then, they can be adequately reconstructed from a set of their random projections, leading to dramatic reduction in the sampling rate and in the use of ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) resources. The goal of this article is provide an overview of the basic CS theory and to survey some important compressed sensing applications in wireless communications.

The Study on the Mix Design of the Super Flowing Concrete (초유동 콘크리트의 배합설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the mix design of the super flowing concrete is described with respcet to basic concept, confined water ratio($\beta_p$), volume ratio of water-binder(w/b), volume ratio of fine aggregates($S_r$) and coarse aggregates($G_v$). The primary purposes of this study are to evaluate the effects of cementitious materials(fly ash, slag cement, portland cement), mixing factors ($\beta_p$, w/b, $S_r$, $G_v$)., and to propose the mix design method of the super flowing concrete. As results of this study, confined water ratio($\beta_p$) of cementitious materials is very high (0.99~1.1), and then the ranges of the optimum mixing factors to be satisfied with the super flowing concrete are $S_r$ 47$\ell$ 2%, $G_v$ 52$\ell$ 1%.

Theory and Prediction of Turbulent Transition

  • We have proposed a new approach based on energy gradient concept for the study of flow instability and turbulent transition in parallel flows in our previous works. It was shown that the disturbance amplitude required for turbulent transition is inversely proportional to Re, which is in agreement with the experiments for imposed transverse disturbance. In present study, the energy gradient theory is extended to the generalized curved flows which have much application in turbomachinery and other fluid delivery devices. Within the frame of the new theory, basic theorems for flow instability in general cases are provided in details. Examples of applications of the theory are given from our previous studies which show comparison of the theory with available experimental data. It is shown that excellent agreement has been achieved for several configurations. Finally, various prediction methods for turbulent transition are reviewed and commented.
