There are people. however, who do not understand what science means, especially among those practicing Oriental Medicine. They associate science with machines and consider that science is something not applicable to Oriental Medicine because Medicine is for humans not for machines. Science is a system of knowledge of universal facts and laws obtained based on objectivity, which under the same conditions gives the same results no matter when, where and how it is done and no matter who does it. To achieve development of that level, knowledge and technology from all areas should be considered and, if found useful, should be accepted. The immediate hurdle is to make Bang-Jae Science understood. So far Bang-Jae Discipline as understood by the practitioners of Oriental Medicine is nothing more than selecting prescriptions inherited from the predecessors that match given symptoms. To make Bang-Jae Discipline a science. i.e. Bang-Jae Science, we should not only study the traditional literature to gather data, experiment and verify with them one after another. make them objective and carry our scientific systemization. It takes fresh and creative trials but it will surely contribute to the future medical science.

In oriental medicine, Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens & Jujubae Fructus are frequently used materials for the digestive system, outer harmful qi(外感) and dam-yeum(痰飮). Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun(方藥合編) is widely used for clinical herbal prescription book. In Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun(方藥合編), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens is used 3pyun(片)(4g) and Jujubae Fructus is used 2mae(4g). The most important fact is that, in contrast to most people know that chyranthis Bidentatae Radix & Jujubae Fructus are used most prescription at the same time, the prescription used chyranthis Bidentatae Radix & Jujubae Fructus at the same time is merely 77. (Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun percentage of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens & Jujubae Fructus is 16.48%). The number of prescription Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens & Jujubae Fructus in Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun is total 173. 42 in sang-tong(上統), 86 in jung-tong(中統), 45 in ha-tong(下統). The group of mostly used disease is about outer harmful qi(外感) and dam-yeum(痰飮). The ratio of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens in Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun is 3.70%~100%. And the ratio of Jujubae Fructus is 0.45%~29.14%. The mostly quoted medical literature what prescription included Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens & Jujubae Fructus in Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun is Tae-Pypng-Ha-Jae-Guk-Bang.

In this paper, the optimal bang-bang control problem of an air-conditioning system with slab thermal storage was formulated by gradient method. Furthermore, the numeric solution obtained by gradient method algorithm was compared with the analytic solution obtained on the basis of maximum principle. The control variable is changed uncontinuously at the start time of thermal storage operation in an analytic solution. On the other hand, it is showed as a continuous solution in a numeric solution. The numeric solution reproduces the analytic solution when a tolerance for convergence is applied severely. It is conceivable that gradient method is effective in the analysis of the optimal bang-bang control of the large-scale system like an air-conditioning system with slab thermal storage.

In oriental traditional medicine, Cervi Pantotrichium Cornu is used mainly to replenish the insufficient part of our body. Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun(方藥合編) is a widely used book for clinical herbal prescription. In addition to replenishing what is lacking inside our body, Cervi Pantotrichium Cornu is also used in treating cardiac disease and Gynecological illness. In Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun, there are 10 prescriptions including Cervi Pantotrichium Cornu only in sang-tong(上統) and it's portion among whole Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun prescriptions marks 2.14%. In large, dosage of Cervi Pantotrichium Cornu in prescriptions vary 2~160g. It's ratio with other herbs vary 3.57~100%. Also, number ratio with other herb constituent vary 5.26~100%. The references are Yi-Hak-Ib-Moon(醫學入門), Dong-Yi-Bo-Gam(東醫寶鑑), Je-Joong-Sin-Pyun(濟衆新篇), etc.

This research is concerned with the derivation of equations of motion for a slewing beam and the application of input shaper to the bang-bang control to achieve vibration suppression. When a uniform beam with a tip mass rotates about the axis perpendicular to the undeformed beam's longitudinal axis, it experiences inertial loading. Hence, the beam vibrates. In this paper, we used the input shaper for the maneuvering control to suppress vibrations. The maneuvering control which can achieve a minimum-time control is a bang-bang control. The input-shaped bang-bang maneuvering is used to suppress vibrations both theoretically and experimentally. The slewing beam experiment is not an easy subject because of the inherent damping existing inside the rotor. We propose the use of a negative damping to eliminate the rotor damping. Numerical and experimental results show that the input-shaper can be effectively used for the vibration suppression of a slewing beam.

Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun(方藥合編) is widely used for clinical herbal prescription book. In Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun(方藥合編), Polygalae Radix is usually used 1don(錢)(4g) and Acori Graminei Rhizoma is used 1don(錢)(4g). The most important fact is that, in contrast to most people know that Polygalae Radix & Acori Graminei Rhizoma are used most prescription at the same time, the prescription used Polygalae Radix & Acori Graminei Rhizoma at the same time is merely 3. (Bang-Yak-Hap-Pyun percentage of Polygalae Radix & Acori Graminei Rhizoma is 0.64%).
