A 23-year-old twin brother visited our hospital for the evaluation of anosmia and delayed secondary sexual maturation. They show eunuchoid apperance, gynecomastia, micropenis and scanty pubic hair. On hormonal study, they show findings of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. So they were treated with HCG for 3 months and thereafter with testosterone. Herein we report a case of Kallman's syndrome in twin brother.

In this paper, an optimal tuning Algorithms is presented to automatically improve the performance of fuzzy controller, using the simplified reasoning method and the proposed complex method. The method estimates automatically the optimal values of the parameters of fuzzy controller, according to the change rate and limitation condition of output. The controller is applied to plants with dead time. Then, computer simulations are conducted at step input and the performances are evaluated in the ITAE.

This study was carried out for the purpose of evaluating the blood mercury concentration of dentists in Korea. Samples of blood were collected from 35 dentists during daily practice in November, 1984. The mercury level in the blood was measured by mercury analyses system (Sugiyama-Gen Environmental Science Co. LTD) The result obtained from this study ws the mean of total blood mercury level of dentists was 41.62 μg/100ml and the range 17.3μg/100ml~133.3μg/100ml.

참굴 개체군 역학모델은 양식장의 환경요인들과 생물학적인 요인들이 굴 성장에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 Powell et al.(1992)과 Hofmann et al.(1992)등이 미국산 참굴인 Crassostrea viginica에 적용하면서 개발되었다. 이후 Kobayashi et al.(1997)가 일본산 참굴인 Crassostrea gigas에 적용시키면서 발전되어 왔고, 우리나라에서는 현등(2001)이 가막만에서 참굴의 최적정수용량을 파악하기 위해 적용하면서 처음 시도되었다. (중략)
