드론 기술을 이용한 부력 조형물의 자세 제어 (Posture control of buoyancy sculptures using drone technology)

  • The floating sculptures in the form of ad-ballon commonly used ropes in order to hold on. Relatively air flow is much less indoor than outdoor. Users of buoyancy sculptures hope to be able to maintain their desired posture without being fixed. This study applied drone technology to buoyancy sculptures. The drones can be moved vertically and horizontally, and the posture can be maintained, so buoyancy sculptures are easy to apply. Therefore, we have studied the control system of buoyancy sculpture using drone technology. Also, a control system that can maintain the desired posture at a constant height was studied. The overall shape was a light fiber material and helium gas for zero buoyancy to support the sculpture. The system configuration was STM32F103CB from ARM. In addition, the gyro and acceleration, geomagnetic sensors and motors are composed of small and medium size BLDC motors. The scheduling of the control system in the configuration of the control device was carefully considered. Because the role of the whole component becomes very important. The communication between the components is divided into the sensor fusion and the interface communication with the whole controller. Each communication technology is designed to expand. This study was implemented to actively respond from the viewpoint of posture control using the drone technology.

소형 추적 레이다용 서보 개발 (Development of Servo for Small Tracking Radars)

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 추적 레이더에 적용 가능한 서보의 설계, 제작, 시험에 대해 기술하였다. 우선 1장에서는 본 연구의 필요성에 대해 기술하였다. 2장에서는 향후 소형 유도무기용 추적 레이다에 적용 가능한 서보 개발에 대해 기술하였다. 3장에서는 브러쉬 직류전동기, 브러쉬리스 직류 전동기, 영구 자석 동기 전동기의 전류 제어를 위한 설계 및 시험 결과를 대해 기술하였다. 그리고 4장에서는 시험 휠의 속도 제어를 위한 설계 및 시험 결과를 기술하였다. 그리고 5장에서는 앞선 시험들의 결과를 정리하였다. 본 논문에서는 보안상의 이유로 일부 그림을 의도적으로 흐림(blur) 처리 하였으며, 개발된 짐벌과의 시험이 아니라 별도의 시험 휠의 제어 결과를 기술하였다.

  • In this paper, a new current control algorithm is proposed for four-switch three-phase brushless DC(BLU) motor drives, which are suitable for low cost applications. A current reference generation scheme is developed and Implemented to obtain high performance characteristics in the four-switch system, such as small torque ripple and fast dynamic speed/torque response. Moreover, the proposed scheme can successful1y eliminate the torque ripple during commutations, so that it can be expected that the four-switch system can be much more practically applied for the industrial application areas.

  • In the paper, the prototype development of a 75kW class microturbine for the distributed generation market is partly presented which has continued with the government funding. In the introduction, an overview of the development of microturbines in the world is presented. A series of development procedures are shown with design, manufacture and self-sustaining tests. During the first year, aerodynamic and structural design/analysis, mechanical design are performed for the compressor, the turbine and the combustor. A premixed lean burn combustor technology is used fur the low emission requirements. Foil air bearings and high-speed motors are employed for higher reliability. The self-sustaining conditions have been successfully achieved with the prototype manufactured engine as a preceding operation.

  • The magnetization directions of a polar magnetized ferrite bonded magnet are analyzed by finite element method (FEM). The influence of the width of SmCo magnets for magnetic field generation is investigated. The surface flux densities of the polar anisotropic magnets are analyzed and compared according to the pole number and thickness of the magnets. And the electromotive force (EMF) values of brushless DC motors with the magnets are investigated. The validity of the analysis method is verified by comparing the analyzed results with measured ones.

  • In automobile, the introduction of electronically commutated motors has been accompanied by a proliferation of electronic devices. With this proliferation of electronic devices, an emphasis has been placed on EMC issues. This paper is proposed to use SRM as a radiator cooling fan in automotive applications. To drive SRM, Energy efficient C-dump converter is applied. It is verified more efficient than other converters through simulation and experiments. And also SRM is valid automotive applications that have strict EMC standards. It is compared SRM with BLDC and DC motor by experiments.

Position Sensorless Control of BLDC Motors Based on Global Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Observer

  • The brushless DC motor (BLDCM) has many advantages. As a result, it is widely used in electric vehicle (EV) drive systems. To improve the reliability of the motor control system, a position sensorless control strategy based on a sliding mode observer (SMO) is proposed. The global fast terminal sliding mode observer (GFTSMO) is proposed to enhance the control performance of the SMO control system. The advantages of the linear sliding mode and the nonsingular terminal sliding mode (NTSM) are combined in the control strategy. The convergence speed of the system state is enhanced. The motor commutation point is obtained with the observation of the back EMF, and the instantaneous torque value of the motor is calculated. Therefore, the position sensorless control of the BLDCM is realized. Experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can improve the convergence speed, dynamic characteristics and robustness of the system.

  • Brushless DC motor which has the characteristics of high efficiency and high torque, can be controlled speed by the encoder or resolver. But these sensors cost highly and have the problem that they increases the size. This paper proposes a speed control by Hall-Sensor. which is small and cheap. But this sensor has a problem of low resolution. To solve the problem this paper proposes speed control by using a least square algorithm.

  • This paper propose a control network system based on IEEE1394 for a multi body robot control. The IEEE1394 has the characteristic of high speed(400Mbps), real-time, stability and plug&play. And IEEE1394 also supports freeform daisy chaining, branching and hot plugging, which reduce cabling complexity and make a system simple. Especially, multi host and broad casting support network data sharing method which is suitable for control network for multi body robot. Through experiment, we show that the proposed control network can interface 48 joints (BLDC motors, gears, and encoders) and four 6-axis force/torque sensors with 4Khz communication bandwidth, which is adequate for a multi body robot.

  • This paper deals with the prediction of armature reaction field produced by 3-phase stator windings whose current waveform contains significant harmonics. On the basis of 2-d analytical technics, we derived governing equation and predicted magnetic field distribution according to rotor position. The results of predictions from the analysis are compared with corresponding FE (finite element) analyses.
