In this study, a total of 300 isolates of Penicillium and related teleomorphic genera were collected from soils of 17 locations in Korea from April to May, 2004. Ninety four isolates were identified as the species of Penicillium subgenus Furcatum based on cultural and morphological characteristics and ${\beta}-tubulin$ gene sequences. Among the specie's, Korean isolates of P. brasilianum Bat. and P. daleae K. M. Zalessky were phylogenetically identical to the reference species based on DNA sequence of the ${\beta}-tubulin$ gene. Here we described and illustrated P. brasilianum and P. daleae that are new in Korea.

PE(Polyethylene)와 PP(Polypropylene)의 sheet 에 $Co^{60}{\gamma}$-ray 선원을 실온, 대기 중에서 10 kGy, 30 kGy, 50 kGy의 방사선량으로 조사시키고 습도 분포에 따른 표면 및 체적 저항을 측정한 결과 방사선이 조사되지 않은 시료와 방사선이 조사된 시료와의 저항 값은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았으나 습도 효과에 따른 변화는 습도 분포가 높을수록 저항 값은 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다.

We report on a systematic analysis of the spin and superorbital modulations of the high-mass X-ray binary 4U 0114+650, which consists of the slowest spinning neutron star known. Utilizing dynamic power spectra, we found that the spin period varied dramatically during the RXTE ASM and Swift BAT observations. This variation consists of a long-term spin-up trend, and two ~1,000 day and one ~600 day random walk epochs previously, MJD 51,000, ~MJD 51,400-52,000, and ~MJD 55,100-56,100. We further found that the events appear together with depressions of superorbital modulation amplitude. This provides evidence of the existence of an accretion disk, although the physical mechanism of superorbital modulation remains unclear. Furthermore, the decrease of the superorbital modulation amplitude may be associated with the decrease of mass accretion rate from the disk, and may distribute the accretion torque of the neutron star randomly in time.

The reactivity of the sulfhydryl (thiol) group of homocysteine has been associated with an Increased risk of atherosclerosis, thrombosis and stroke. Thiols also react with nitric oxide (NO, an endothelium-derived relaxing factor (EDRF) ), forming S-nitrosothiols that have been reported to have potent vasodilatory and antiplatelet effects and been expected to decrease adverse vascular effects of homocysteine. The present study was aimed to Investigate whether the S-nitrosation of homocysteine modulates the neurotoxic effects of homocysteine. An 18 hour-exposure of cultured rat cortical neurons to homocysteine ( >1 mM) resulted in a significant neuronal cell death. At comparable concentrations ( <10 mM), however, S-nitrosohomocysteine did not induce neuronal cell death. Furthermore, S-nitrosohomocysteirle partially blocked NMDA-mediated neurotoxicity. S-nitrosohomocysteine also decreased NMDA-mediated increases in intracellular calcium concentration. The present data indicate that in brain nitric oxide produced from neuronal and nonneuronal cells can modulate the potential, adverse properties of homocysteine.

디지털 방송을 위한 Java 언어 기반 MPEG-2 TS(전송 스트림) 패킷 분석 시스템은 TS 패킷의 내용을 분석하고. PSI Table과 SI Table 데이터를 수집하여 분석 할 수 있도록 해준다. 구현된 패킷 분석 시스템은 PAT PMT, NIT, CAT 등의 PSI Table과 BAT, NIT, EIT, SDT 등의 SI Table의 정보를 계층적으로 분류 시켜준다. 또한 그 안의 포함된 다양한 의미의 컨텐츠를 포함하는 여러 종류의 Descriptor들의 정보도 분석해준다. 패킷 분석 시스템은 멀티-쓰레딩과 편리한 데이터 관리를 위해서 몇몇 클래스들로 구성 되어있다. 그리고 패킷 분석 시스템의 GUI는 Swing 라이브러리로 구현되었기 때문에, 시스템은 GUI의 변화 없이 윈도우즈. 리눅스와 같은 여러 가지 플랫폼에서도 안정적으로 동작된다. 본 연구의 시스템은 향후 DSM-CC 메카니즘과 의미적 분석의 구현 그리고 데이터베이스 시스템과의 연동 등으로 심화되어 연구될 것이다.

본 논문은 암호화 및 정보보호를 위한 방법으로, 영상에 정보를 삽입하는 영상 심층암호에 관한 연구이다. 기존의 방법들이 가지고 있는 삽입 가능한 데이터 량의 제한과 영상변환의 오차, 화질의 감소 등에 대한 개선 방안의 하나로 제안하고 있다. 특히, 본 논문은 일반적으로 많이 사용하는 칼라영상을 대상으로 256 칼라의 한정색 영상으로 감색처리를 하면서 동시에 정보를 삽입하는 방법을 제안하고 있다. 이 방법은 삽입할 정보의 비트패턴에 대해 가변적으로 처리를 하므로 보나 다양한 정보에 적합한 대응이 가능하다. 또한, 정보 삽입으로 야기되는 화질을 보존하기 위해 주변화소 값을 이용한 오차확산법을 사용하여 화질을 개선하는 효과를 얻었다.

A sizing of sensible and latent energy recovery system with condensing heat exchanger is important to the design of a thermally controlled facilities. The transient system simulation program TRNSYS 14.2/IISiBat has been used to evaluate the energy consumptions of a thermally controlled facilities which consist of boiler, chiller and condensing heat exchanger, The boiler and chiller are selected based on the annual peak loads and controlled to maintain the setting temperature of $14~17^{\circ}C$. Simulation shows that the amount of sensible and latent energy recovered by heat exchanger is almost 20% of total heating load.

The visual discrimination ability of Vespertilio superans was investigated with a male and a female. In a controlled experimental situation (two-choice apparatus), using a vertical bar and a circle of the same area of the bar, it was established that discrimination between different shapes of the same size was impossible. However, with patterns in which the surface areas substantially differed, the bats were able to discriminate between them to a statistically significant degree. Continuing with experiments in which the lightness of the 2 paritems was varied, the disrimination was possible with all but the slightest differences in lightness (a difference of lightness value 2).
