  • Since the 1990s, the advancement of semiconductor technology has resulted in the development of microprocessor technology, auxiliary computer technology, and application technology such as intelligent algorithms (neural network, fuzzy, etc.). These based the development of intelligent machines. An agent is autonomous software that recognizes environment, exchanges knowledge with other agents and makes decisions. We designed agent-based sensor structure. For the purpose, first, it modeled the function of an intelligent machine. Second, it designed sensory function on the agent level.

  • This paper proposes a method for extracting the imformation of aspect and modality from the predicative part which is consisted of main verbal and auxiiary verbals.Data which are expressed by the compound predicate with many consecutive verbals are collected and analyzed to thirty-six structual forms of the predicative part.Inthe final analysis, an extracting function of conceptual information is derived to find the connoted aspect and modality in each structure. The informations which are obtained by this function decrease the individual ambiguity of an auxiliary verbal and offer a detailed meaning inthe syntactic and semantic analysis of machine translation system or inference machine.

  • In this paper we describe the Einstein-Kahler metric for the Cartan-Hartogs of the first type which is the special case of the Hua domains. Firstly, we reduce the Monge-Ampere equation for the metric to an ordinary differential equation in the auxiliary function X = X(z, w) = $\midw\mid^2[det(I-ZZ^{T}]^{\frac{1}{K}}$ (see below). This differential equation can be solved to give an implicit function in Χ. Secondly, we get the estimate of the holomorphic section curvature under the complete Einstein-K$\ddot{a}$hler metric on this domain.

  • A unified solution is presented for the buckling analysis of rectangular laminated composite plates with elastically restrained edges. The plate is subjected to biaxial in-plane compression, and the boundary conditions are simulated by employing uniform distribution of linear and rotational springs at all edges. The critical values of buckling loads and corresponding modes are calculated based on classical lamination theory and using the Ritz method. The deflection function is defined based on simple polynomials without any auxiliary function. The verifications of the current study are carried out with available combinations of classic boundary conditions in the literature. Through parametric study with a wide range of spring factors with some classical as well as some not classical boundary conditions, competency of the present model of boundary conditions is proved.

  • In this paper, we consider maximum likelihood estimators of normal distribution based on type II censoring. Gupta (1952) and Cohen (1959, 1961) required a table for an auxiliary function to compute since they did not have an explicit form; however, we derive an explicit form for the estimators using a method to approximate the likelihood function. The derived estimators are a special case of Balakrishnan et al. (2003). We compare the estimators with the Gupta's linear estimators through simulation. Gupta's linear estimators are unbiased and easily calculated; subsequently, the proposed estimators have better performance for mean squared errors and variances, although they show bigger biases especially when the ratio of the complete data is small.

  • This paper introduces the main function and protection method of IGBT gate driver that designed by KOROS. Recently, the applications of insulated gate bipolar transistors(IGBTs) have expanded widely, particularly in the area of railway converters. This driver is suitable for railway traction applications, so they are designed for circumstance of railway vehicle such as vibration. The input control power for this driver is supplied from battery charger of railway. it is no necessary an isolated power supply board or auxiliary power supply, with substantial savings in cost and space in railway applications. This gate driver can be used wide range of input voltage. So, performance of the driver has no relation with the battery voltage(70V∼110V). The protection methods of IGBT gate driver have many kind of ways, but this gate driver it designed to apply to converter for railway system, so this gate driver includes protection for arm short current and low control power voltage, etc. And the process of protection method and protection reference value are optimized by means of sufficient test with our own facilities.

  • In the era which computer communication changes from auxiliary means of communication to main means of communication, the messenger system becomes the leader of communication. The multi messenger implemented in this paper used .NET and strong MFC as a language of next generation to put n higher competitiveness than current another messenger systems. In addition, it included face to face chatting function as well as messenger function.

  • The current trends of product customization and repair of high value parts with individual defects demand automation and a high degree of flexibility of the involved manufacturing process chains. To determine the corresponding requirements this paper gives an overview of manufacturing process chains by distinguishing between horizontal and vertical process chains. The established way of modeling and programming processes with CAx systems and existing approaches is shown. Furthermore, the different types of possible adaptions of a manufacturing process chain are shown and considered as a cascaded control loop. Following this it is discussed which key requirements of repair process chains are unresolved by existing approaches. To overcome the deficits this paper introduces repair features which comprise the idea of geometric features and defines analytical auxiliary geometries based on the measurement input data. This meets challenges normally caused by working directly on reconstructed geometries in the form of triangulated surfaces which are prone to artifacts. Embedded into function blocks, this allows the use of traditional approaches for manufacturing process chains to be applied to adaptive repair process chains.

  • In order to understand Changeologically on the meaning of FCST's TMJ (temporo-mandibular joint) treatment procedure, Yi, Shike, Bi, Gen trigrams concerning the jaw and change by treatment were analyzed from the viewpoint of semiotic context of hexagon and holistic interpretation on disease. Yi is meant by jaw but actually indicates mouth made by maxilla and mandible, and it's characters are related with nourishing by aliment and words. But when we eat and speak in the daily life, jaw does not nourish properly it's own body by bad habit or postures. For the treatment of this ill state, there needs punishment and correction symbolized with Shike. Shike has fourth nine meaning obstacles between the two strong lines in the upper and lower end, and so it has the function of mastication and get rid of the fourth nine metaphorically indicating subluxation of axis using CBA and auxiliary measures of four movement or laughing methods. Bi expresses the achievement and effects of consecutive mastication process implicating normalized manifestation of jaw and its linked spinal function. Gen symbolizes removing selfish motive or partiality in advance and reaches the best state of the saint righteously self-nourishable human being.

  • In this study, listening errors by Korean EFL learners are comprehensively analyzed from self-paced passage dictation tasks. Fifty-five Korean EFL learners participated in the study. Listeners were asked to write down dictation passages as accurately as possible, while listening to the audio as much as they needed. The results show that (i) low-proficiency learners tend to misperceive longer phrases than high-proficiency learners, (ii) function words are more often omitted or misheard than content words, and (iii) low-proficiency learners have more difficulties with content words than high-proficiency learners do. Most frequent suffix errors were omissions of past or plural suffixes. Among the function words, the most frequent errors were found with auxiliary contractions, infinitive marker to, and articles, mostly in the environment of linking and elision. It is also shown that C-V linking, C-C linking, and elision are the primary sources for the most frequent errors. C-V linking led to errors in correctly locating the word boundary, while C-C linking and elision resulted in omission. These errors show that Korean EFL listeners have difficulties in detecting fine-grained phonetic details to the extent that native speakers can do.
