모델 기반 접근 방법을 이용한 임베디드 S/W를 위한 API 변환기의 개발 (Development of a Model-Driven Approach Based API Translator for Embedded Software)

  • 본 논문에서는 모델 기반 접근 방법을 이용하여 임베디드 소프트웨어를 개발하기 위한 자동화된 API 변환기에 대하여 기술한다. MDA(Model Driven Architecture)가 임베디드 소프트웨어의 개발에 관해서는 지원이 매우 미약하기 때문에, 우리는 MDA의 장점인 구현 공정의 자동화를 포함하면서도 실시간 오버헤드 문제를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 접근 방법을 제시한다. 첫 번째로, 어느 특정 RTOS에 의존하지 않지만 전형적인 RTOS 서비스들의 대부분을 제공할 수 있도록 Generic API를 정의한다. 우리는 이 Generic API를 이용하여 타겟 응용프로그램의 RTOS와 관련된 행동을 CIC(Common Intermediate Code)에서 표현할 수 있다. 그 다음에, Generic API를 이용하여 기술된 CIC를 특정 RTOS에서 수행할 수 있는 C-코드로 변환할 수 있는 변환 툴을 제안한다. 제안된 API 변환기는 외부에 정의되어 있는 XML 변환 규칙을 이용하여 코드를 변환한다. 따라서 API 변환기는 이 변환 규칙을 수정하거나 추가하여 다른 RTOS로 적용할 수 있도록 확장이 가능하다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법을 확인한다.

예비교원 컴퓨팅 사고 이해도 분석을 통한 소프트웨어 교육 역량 강화 방안 (A Study on Strengthening Software Education Capability through Computational Thinking Understanding of pre-service Teachers)

  • 세계적으로 교육 분야에서 컴퓨팅 사고력 증진을 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SW 역량과 컴퓨팅 사고력 관계를 정의한 후, 컴퓨팅 사고력 측정을 통해 예비교원 컴퓨팅 사고력 현황을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 한 학기 동안 엔트리 프로그래밍 언어 수업을 받은 예비교원을 대상으로 SW교육에 대한 태도와 컴퓨팅 사고력에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 설문 분석 결과 예비교원의 컴퓨팅 사고력 중 추상화, 자료 분석, 자동화에 대한 부분의 개선이 필요함을 보였다. 예비 교원을 교육할 때 SW 개발 도구인 엔트리를 벗어나, 분석과 설계 역량을 키울 수 있는 교육 방법이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The competence of enterprise for managing information is evaluated not by the amount of information but by the quality of information such as response time, data consistency, and data correctness. The degradation of data quality is usually caused by the inappropriate process of managing the structure and value of stored data. According to the recent survey on the actual condition of data quality management, the correctness and consistency of data appeared to be the most problematic area among the six criteria of data quality management such as correctness, consistency, availability, timeliness, accessibility, and security. Moreover, the problem was more serious in case of small and medium-sized companies than large enterprises. In this paper, therefore, we attempt to propose a new data quality control methodology for small and medium-sized companies that can improve the correctness and consistency of data without consuming too much time and cost. To adopt the proposed methodology to real application immediately, we provided some scripts for as-is analysis and devised automation tools for managing naming rules of vocabulary, terminology, and data code. Additionally, we performed case study on the distribution service of a small-sized company to estimate the applicability of our tool and methodology.

Development of an Automatic Label Attaching System Using a Robot Vision in Variable Situation

  • A cold & hot rolling coil production line of iron nill consists of a kind of coherent automatic process, but an automatic labelling process still had technical difficulties in the automation of its process. The reason for difficulties in building an automatic process is that quantitative data for each rolled coil from every shipping is not easy to receive from the previous process. it is not possible to apply for a general and simple purpose robot that is actually worked through a taught position to the process because the size and direction of the coi1 has differed on every shipping. From these reasons. we introduce a robot vision system to accept an expected variable situation and to ensure the stability and flexibility of the process. This paper examines a study applied for similar cases and finds the position and direction of relied coil using the moment invariant algorithm proposed by Hu. In addition. the camera calibration and position error compensation algorithm is applied by the analysis of the relationship of transition in a space coordinate system. The construction of a robot vision system proposed by this paper is a more intellectual system than that of the automatic labelling system. which is already used to the Daihen steel nill of NEW JAPAN steel mill co. Ltd in Japan, and shows a better independent operation in the field of production.

모형 공압굴삭기 시스템 구축 (Development and Identification of Pneumatic Excavator System)

  • The excavator is complex machinery which has widely used in the construction site, deck of harbor and deep sea. The one of important issue of excavator system in recent is an automation of it in order to improve a working efficiency, a convenience working circumstance and work satisfaction. However, since there are large nonlinearities of control circuit, actuating cylinder, joiners of hydraulic units and changing loads etc., it is difficult to develope an automatic excavator system. Therefore, in this study, toy scale pneumatic excavator system is constructed and the remote control system is installed on it, before developing the automatic excavator system. In order to design the control system of the developed pneumatic excavator system, the transfer function is obtained using signal processing method and the controller gains of PID are decided based on CDM(coefficient diagram method). The obtained transfer function and the performance of the proposed control system is evaluated through experiments and computer simulation.

  • 현재 사용되는 실험 교구는 센서를 활용하여 대부분 물리분야 실험에 적용하고 특정 실험에 잘 맞는 MBL만을 개발한 사례도 있다. 하지만, SW융합을 활용한 실험설계 단계는 없으며 교과서 속 다양한 화학실험 적용에 한계가 있고 아두이노의 경우 프로그래밍 시 학생들이 언어를 학습하고 이해하는 데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 microcomputer 실험의 단점 및 소프트웨어 교육의 한계를 극복하고 학습자 능동적 실험설계 과정을 포함한 SW교육 융합 과학 실험기구를 설계 및 개발하였다.

  • 영업사원이 영업수단으로 가장 많이 사용하면서 간단한 방법이 명함일 것이다. 매일 많은 고객과 명함을 주고받고 있지만 종이 명함은 버려지기 싶고 정보 검색도 어렵다. 해결책으로 스마트 폰으로 명함을 촬영하여 데이터베이스로 만든다면 언제든지 영업에 필요한 고객 정보를 쉽게 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 전자명함 데이터베이스 구축과 전자명함을 기반으로 영업관리를 지원하는 앱 기반 솔루션을 개발한다. 본 시스템은 클라우드 환경에서 작동되며 고객인맥관리, 고객 분류, 유망고객 발굴 등의 다양한 의사결정 지원 기능을 갖추고 있다.

IoT 시대 효과적인 커뮤니케이션을 위한 스마트미러 UX 평가 연구 (Evaluation Research on Smart Mirror UX for Efficient Communication of the IoT Generation)

  • IoT utilized network vitalization between objects are being rapidly established within current IT communication environment. Therefore the worth of smart mirrors is rising for it is a tool to allow online network between objects to be possible in human communication environment. For effective IoT generation's communication, this research intends to evaluate the smart mirror's value for practical uses based on the users' experiences. For the UX evaluation according to the locations where it will be used, Peter Morville's Honeycomb model and Jocob Nielsen's usage evaluation principles were referred to analyze effectiveness of 4 factors, utilization convenience, communication effectiveness, mass interest and space adequateness on households, public places and work places. Hence, we have were led to an objective result through statistical analysis method based on survey. As a result, we have confirmed the smart mirror's positive influence on the users' effective communication in all places. Especially in households, utilization convenience and space adequateness appeared to be high that confirmed sufficient users' need for the home-automation services. In public places, the communication effectiveness and space adequateness ranked high to confirm that the smart mirror utilization is adequate to provide location information. Also, in work places, the mass adequateness was high that we were able to confirm that supply of work place-specific service contents would bring meaningful results to the users. The smart mirrors are the adequate method to provide effective communication in IoT generation with high possibilities in further development.

X선 영상의 에지 추출을 통한 플립칩 솔더범프의 접합 형상 오차 검출 (Detection of Flip-chip Bonding Error Through Edge Size Extraction of X-ray Image)

  • The technology to inspect and measure an inner structure of micro parts has become an important tool in the semi-conductor industrial field with the development of automation and precision manufacturing. Especially, the inspection skill on the inside of highly integrated electronic device becomes a key role in detecting defects of a completely assembled product. X-ray inspection technology has been focused as a main method to inspect the inside structure. However, there has been insufficient research done on the customized inspection technology for the flip-chip assembly due to the interior connecting part of flip chip which connects the die and PCB electrically through balls positioned on the die. In this study, therefore, it is implemented to detect shape error of flip chip bonding without damaging chips using an x-ray inspection system. At this time, it is able to monitor the solder bump shape by introducing an edge-extracting algorithm (exponential approximation function) according to the attenuating characteristic and detect shape error compared with CAD data. Additionally, the bonding error of solder bumps is automatically detectable by acquiring numerical size information at the extracted solder bump edges.

Formal Validation Method and Tools for French Computerized Railway Interlocking Systems

  • Checks and tests before putting safety facilities into service as well as the results of these tests are essential, time consuming and may show great variations between each other. Economic constraints and the increasing complexity associated with the development of computerized tools tend to limit the capacity of the classic approval process (manual or automatic). A reduction of the validation cover rate could result in practice. This is not compatible with the French national plan to renew the interlocking systems of the national network. The method and the tool presented in this paper makes it possible to formally validate new computerized systems or evolutions of existing French interlocking systems with real-time functional interpreted Petri nets. The aim of our project is to provide SNCF with a method for the formal validation of French interlocking systems. A formal proof method by assertion, which is applicable to industrial automation equipment such as interlocking systems, and which covers equally the specification and its real software implementation, is presented in this paper. With the proposed method we completely verify that the system follows all safety properties at all times and does not show superfluous conditions: it replaces all the indoor checks (not the outdoor checks). The advantages expected are a significant reduction of testing time and of the related costs, an increase of the test coverage rate, an answer to the new demand of railway infrastructure maintenance engineering to modify and validate computerized interlocking systems. Formal methods mastery by infrastructure engineers are surely a key to prove that more safety is not necessarily more expensive.
