모듈화된 신경망을 이용한 운전의지 판단 알고리즘 (The Decision Algorithm for Driving Intension Using Moduled Neural Network)

  • 최근 차량의 경우 미리 설정된 쉬프트 패턴에 의해 변속되도록 고안된 자동변속기가 장착되어 있다. 자동변속기는 기존에 운전자가 수동으로 조작하는 방식과 달리, 자동으로 변속되므로 편안하고 편리하지만, 고정된 패턴을 이용해 변속하기 때문에 운전자의 의지를 반영하지 못한다. 운전자의 의지를 반영하기 위해서는 운전자의 성향뿐만 아니라, 차량의 상태도 같이고려해야한다. 이에, 차량의 상태와 운전자의 조작상태를 모듈 화시켜 학습하여 종합적인 운전성향을 판단하고, 반영하여 변속을 결정하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 모듈화된 신경망을 이용한 운전의지 판단 알고리즘을 자동차의 자동변속기에 적용하여, 기존에 운전자마다 동일하게 적용되던 고정된 패턴에 의해 변속되던 결과와 비교해 봄으로서, 운전자마다 다른 유동적인 운전의지를 반영한 결과가 우수함을 보이고자 한다.

  • 공중 무인 이동체(UAV)인 드론을 해상 무인 이동체(USV)와 자율 협력하여 임무를 수행하기 위해선 자동 착륙 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 피라미드 형상의 착륙 장치와 패드를 기반으로 한 도킹 방식의 자동 착륙 시스템을 제안하였다. 파도, 바람 등 해상 환경에 의해 영향을 받더라도 드론이 착지할 수 있도록 유도하고, 결합(Docking) 장치를 통해 순간적으로 고정할 수 있다. 3-DoF 모션 플랫폼으로 함상의 거동을 모사하여 착륙 시험을 수행하였으며, 도킹 방식 자동 착륙 시스템의 운용·활용 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • Polishing a die that has free-form surfaces is a time-consuming and tedious job, and requires a considerable amount of high-precision skill. Some workers tend to gradually avoid the polishing work because of the poor environment caused by dust and noise. In order to reduce the polishing time and cope with the shortage of skilled workers, a user-friendly automatic polishing system was developed in this research. The polishing system with five degrees of freedom is able to keep the polishing tool normal to the die surface. The polishing system is controlled by a PC-NC controller. To easily operate the developed polishing robot system, this study developed an integrated program in the Windows environment. This program consists of four modules: the polishing module, the graphic simulator, the polishing data generation module, and the teaching module. Also, the automatic teaching system was developed to easily obtain teaching data and it consists of a three dimensional joystick and a proximity sensor. The joystick is used to simultaneously drive the polishing system to an arbitrary orientation and the proximity sensor is used to obtain teaching points precisely. Also, to evaluate the stability of the driving program and the teaching system, polishing experiments of a die of saddle shape were carried out.

신뢰도 비용 최소화를 위한 개폐기의 최적 자동화율 도출에 관한 연구 (Study of Drawing Optimum Switch Automation Rate to Minimize Reliability Cost)

  • Replacing a manual switch installed in a feeder for a distribution system with an automatic one increases the reliability of the electric power system. This is because the automatic switch can shorten the duration of a fault the customer experiences by splitting the faulty section faster than the manual one does. However, improving the reliability of the distribution system may increase investment costs. Here, the investment costs include automatic switch cost, replacement work cost and labor cost. For this reason, importance should be attached to the proper balance between the increase of the investment costs and the improvement of the reliability of the distribution system. This article analyzed reliability index and economics when manual switches installed in a feeder (RBTS Bus2 model) was replaced by automatic ones. In addition, it attempted to draw the optimum rate of automation of manual switches by automatic ones using the GRG optimization method, considering the current economic requirements.

공작기계 절삭유 냉각용 오일쿨러 설계 자동화 (Oil Cooler Design Automation on the Cooling of Machine Tool Cutting Oil)

  • The automatic design of shell & tube type oil cooler can be used in real industrial environments. Since the automatic design system is intended to be used in small companies, it is designed to be operated well under environments of CAD package in the personal computer. It has adopted GUI in design system, and has employed DCl language. Design parameters to be considered in the design stage of shell and tube type oil cooler are type of oil cooler, outer diameter, thickness, length of tube, tube arrangement, tube pitch, flow rate, inlet and outlet temperature, physical properties, premissive pressure loss on both sides, type of baffle plate, baffle plate cutting ratio, clearance between baffle plate outer diameter and shell inner diameter and clearance between baffle plate holes. As a result, the automatic design system of shell & tube type oil cooler is constructed by the environment of CAD software using LISP. We have built database of design data for various kinds of shell & tube type oil coolers. The automatic design system have been assessed and compared with existing specification of design. Good agreement with Handbook of heat exchanger and design dta of real industrial environments has been found.

  • Reducing aircraft speed is the important task in the Rejected Takeoff and/or landing process. It is known that the effect of the Speedbrake is most important factor during the rejected takeoff maneuver in particular near V1 on the critical field length runway. The B747 designer created Automatic Speedbrake Control System to relieve pilot workload, improves brake operation and ensures proper Speedbrake operation for rejected take off. However, those who make the Rejected Takeoff procedure ignored the Automatic function and made it does all manual operations. This lets procedures difficult, complicated, and a cause of confusion and pilot error. This study was conducted to commentary the mechanism and function of the Automatic Speedbrake Control System of B747-8 and to propose appropriate B747-8 Rejected Take off procedures for its function to reduce the workload of pilots and contribute to reduce the possibility of pilot error during Rejected Takeoff.

Study on Small Vessel′s Pseudo-AIS Interoperable with Universal AIS

  • Universal AIS, which has been adopted officially for automatic identification systems among regulated ships by SOLAS, should be installed, for example, on all passenger ships over 300 tons engaged in international voyage and over 500 tons in domestic voyage, sequentially from 2002 to 2004. We must not overlook the fact than-ruled regions by regional authorities in the case of VTS. Actually a major portion of accidents have happened in small vessels like fishing vessels. However, they are not equipped with automatic identification tools, due to the high costs of the equipment for identifying purposes, as well as the absence of regulation In this paper, we researched the alternative of automatic identification for small vessel instead of universal AIS. We analyzed the requirement of automatic identification for small vessel about wireless communication method, traffic volume, etc. We proposed the identification system for small vessels in local areas and developed the Local Vessel Identification System (LVIS) interoperable with universal AIS using a PDA platform and wireless network.

A study on ship automatic berthing with assistance of auxiliary devices

  • The recent researches on the automatic berthing control problems have used various kinds of tools as a control method such as expert system, fuzzy logic controllers and artificial neural network (ANN). Among them, ANN has proved to be one of the most effective and attractive options. In a marine context, the berthing maneuver is a complicated procedure in which both human experience and intensive control operations are involved. Nowadays, in most cases of berthing operation, auxiliary devices are used to make the schedule safer and faster but none of above researches has taken into account. In this study, ANN is applied to design the controllers for automatic ship berthing using assistant devices such as bow thruster and tug. Using back-propagation algorithm, we trained ANN with set of teaching data to get a minimal error between output values and desired values of four control outputs including rudder, propeller revolution, bow thruster and tug. Then, computer simulations of automatic berthing were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the system. The results of the simulations showed good performance for the proposed berthing control system.

  • 최근 대량으로 쏟아지는 감성공학 연구 결과와 논문들을 가치 있는 자료로 만들기 위해서는 감성 데이터가 산업 전반에 활용될 수 있도록 지표로 정리해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 "웹기반 감성 데이터 베이스 구축 및 보급에 관한 연구" 과제를 통해 작성된 감성 데이터 지표에 입각해서 앞으로 대량으로 출현할 감성공학 데이터의 지속적인 지표화를 위한 과정의 자동화를 제안한다. 문서 데이터의 지표화 작업이 자동요약과 유사하다는 점에 착안하여 자동지표화 시스템을 위한 기술들의 기초가 되는 정보유형 및 주요어 추출, 특성표현을 통한 정보문 추출에 대해 감성공학 코퍼스 분석을 통해 연구하고자 한다. 이는 감성공학 분야에서의 지식관리 시스템이나 자동요약 시스템에 활용될 수 있다. 활용될 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 교통관리 시스템의 유고검지 체계를 검토하여 기존 체계의 문제점과 한계점을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 검지체계를 구축하고 새로 구축된 검지 체계에 맞는 알고리즘을 개발하는데 연구 목적이 있다. 새로운 검지체계는 검지기 1개소의 설치로 다차로를 검지할 수 있으며 특히 1개 차로 내에서도 검지영역을 여러 개 검지할 수 있는 다 검지체계의 장점을 최대한 살린 시스템이므로 기존 체계의 한계성인 단일 검지영역 문제를 해소할 수 있으며 경제적으로 교통관리 시스템을 구축할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이 시스템으로 고속도로와 국도상에서 유고 검지율을 기존의 APID와 DES를 비교하여 현장 시험 평가한 결과 이 시스템이 제일 높은 유고 검지율을 나타내어 기존 시스템보다 우수한 것으로 판명되었다.
