  • In this study, the automatic packaging system for small injection molding product is developed. In most of injection molding company, many problems such as manpower problem, productivity decline and inferiority rate increase are occurred since processes after injection molding are executed by hands. The automatic system which is developed is for packaging small injection molding products as 6mm ball. Finally, many problems of injection molding process are resolved and the productivity will increase by applying developed system to field and this technique lays the groundwork for developing similar automatic system.

자동 IV 주사 유량 자동 제어 및 네트워크 모니터링 (Automatic Flow Control and Network Monitoring of IV Injection)

  • Intravenous (IV) injection is widely used to supply Ringer solution directly into a vein in hospital. Generally, a passive injection method has been used, which causes the inconsistent flow rate of fluid and inappropriate control of injection time by a patient. It leads to an unnecessary nurse's overwork and decrement of IV injection's effect. To solve these problems, flow control infusion pumps have been developed. But because of relatively heavy weight and high price, its usage has been limited. In the present study, a new automatic IV injection system is developed. It is installed with a small pressing mechanism driven by a small electric motor to regulate the flow rate by pressing tube. Proportional integral derivative (PID) feedback control algorithm is applied to control the electric motor. The system is smaller in size and uses lower power than the existing commercial product. The newly developed system is also installed with networking capability, which enables monitoring the status of several automatic IV injection system at the same time.

  • 안전 필수 분야의 전장 장비에서 다양한 고장요인 (고장모드)에 따른 고장 영향 분석 (FMEA, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)이 필수적이다. 이는 기기나 시스템의 잠재적인 결함들을 식별하고, 그로 인한 발생 가능한 위험을 평가하여 이를 방지하거나 관리하기 위한 개선안을 수립한다. 그러나 최근 시스템의 복잡성이 증가하고 소프트웨어의 영향이 중요해지며 전통적인 FMEA 만을 설계 단계에 적용하는 것이 어려운 상황이다. 본 논문은 모델기반설계기법을 기반으로한 Automatic FMEA 방식을 제안한다. 모델의 구조와 동작을 자동으로 분석하여 FMEA를 수행할 수 있게 하여, 설계 초기 단계에서도 고장모드 분석이 가능하게 한다. 사례연구로 차량 연료 제어 시스템을 대상으로 Automatic FMEA를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 Automatic FMEA 분석도구의 성능을 입증하는 동시에, 향후 연구 방향을 제안한다.

  • 진탕플라스크 배양액의 균 증식도를 자동측정하기 위하여 자동화 FIA장치를 경제적으로 제작하였으며, 이를 이용하여 대장균을 Nutrient broth 배지에 접종하여 배양하면서 그 증식도를 자동측정하였다. 멸균 NB를 이송용액으로 하고 10분 간격으로 자동측정하였을 때 큰 오차 없이 증식양상을 세밀하게 측정할 수 있었다. 증류수를 이송용액으로 사용한 경우에는 NB를 이송용액으로 사용한 경우에 비하여 측정오차가 더 컸으며, 특히 배양후반부에서의 오차가 크게 나타났다.

평면 동판 권선을 이용한 Flyback 변압기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Flyback Transformer using Flat copper winding)

  • 본 논문에서는 90W급 LED-TV용 DC-DC Flyback 컨버터에 사용되고 있는 소형화 및 권선 자동화에 적합한 사출형 평면 동판 권선 방식의 Flyback 변압기 최적화 설계에 대해서 나타낸다. 또한 본 논문에서는 수동권선방식의 기존 양산 Flyback 변압기에 비해 권선 자동화, Trans 체적 저감 및 전기적 특성 동질성 향상이 가능한 사출형 평면 동판 권선 방식의 Flyback 변압기를 제안한다. 특히 본 논문에서 제안한 사출형 평면 동판 권선 변압기는 권선 자동화를 위하여 수직형 권선 방식으로 구성한다. 본 논문 제안한 사출형 평면 동판 권선 방식의 Flyback 변압기의 1차측과 2차측 권선은 각각 기존 권선, 3중 절연 권선 및 사출형 평면 동판권선을 사용하였다. 최종적으로 Maxwell 2D 및 3D Tool을 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과를 토대로 본 논문에서 제안한 소형화 및 권선 자동화에 적합한 사출형 평면 동판 권선 방식의 Flyback 변압기 최적화 설계를 수행하였다.

Comparison of pain relief in soft tissue tumor excision: anesthetic injection using an automatic digital injector versus conventional injection

  • Background: The pain caused by local anesthetic injection can lead to patient anxiety prior to surgery, potentially necessitating sedation or general anesthesia during the excision procedure. In this study, we aim to compare the pain relief efficacy and safety of using a digital automatic anesthetic injector for local anesthesia. Methods: Thirty-three patients undergoing excision of a benign soft tissue tumor under local anesthesia were prospectively enrolled from September 2021 to February 2022. A single-blind, randomized controlled study was conducted. Patients were divided into two groups by randomization: the experimental group with digital automatic anesthetic injector method (I-JECT group) and the control group with conventional injection method. Before surgery, the Amsterdam preoperative anxiety information scale was used to measure the patients' anxiety. After local anesthetic was administered, the Numeric Pain Rating Scale was used to measure the pain. The amount of anesthetic used was divided by the surface area of the lesion was recorded. Results: Seventeen were assigned to the conventional group and 16 to the I-JECT group. The mean Numeric Pain Rating Scale was 1.75 in the I-JECT group and 3.82 in conventional group. The injection pain was lower in the I-JECT group (p< 0.01). The mean Amsterdam preoperative anxiety information scale was 11.00 in the I-JECT group and 9.65 in conventional group. Patient's anxiety did not correlate to injection pain regardless of the method of injection (p= 0.47). The amount of local anesthetic used per 1 cm2 of tumor surface area was 0.74 mL/cm2 in the I-JECT group and 2.31 mL/cm2 in the conventional group. The normalization amount of local anesthetic was less in the I-JECT group (p< 0.01). There was no difference in the incidence of complications. Conclusion: The use of a digital automatic anesthetic injector has shown to reduce pain and the amount of local anesthetics without complication.

Case Study on Developing an Elderly Automatic Shower System

  • Objective: The aim of this study is developing an elderly automatic showering system by optimizing nozzle position and angle of water injection on ergonomics approach. Background: The elderly living in nursing home or hospital were increased by an aging population. Helping the elderly on showering is so hard. In addition, the existing showering/bathing systems are not effective because shower pattern of the elderly and washed range of nozzle were not considered. Method: Firstly, basic specification were determined by anthropometric approach. Secondly, position of nozzle and angle of water injection were determined through observation of elderly behavior on showering. And, finally, they were optimized by washing test and showering simulation. Results: On showering importance of body parts were able to analysis through observation of elderly behavior. The position of nozzle and angle of water injection was able to optimize by showering simulation. The automatic showering system was developed by considering their results. Conclusion: The most important technology of developing a showering system is the determining position of nozzle and angle of water injection, number of nozzle. It was developed by applying its results through user centered-research. Application: The user centered-research of developing products was able to apply directly to develop automatic bath, showering products etc. Further more it was available to apply senior friendly products.

사출금형 냉각회로의 최적설계자동화에 관한 연구 (A Study on automatic optimization of cooling circuit design in injection mold)

  • Cooling circuit of injection mold affects part quality and cycle time of injection molding process. Examination on mold cooling circuit is usually omitted in part design stage because cooling circuit is designed in the mold design stage. It is desirable to examine mold cooling circuit with respect to part quality in the part design stage. In order to make the examination process convenient and fast, cooling circuit design should be automated without intervention of skilled designer. In this study, optimization of cooling circuit design is automated with commercial softwares; Visual DOC and Moldflow MPI. Effect of initial value for optimization is examined for the optimization result.

  • 기존의 액상화 방지를 위한 그라우팅은 부정확한 계측장비를 사용하고 시공 품질관리를 경험에 의존하는 단점이 있다. 본 연구는 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ 고속도로 건설현장 내 말뚝기초 주변의 지반을 그라우팅으로 보강한 사례를 분석하여 액상화 대책공법으로서 그라우팅 보강효과에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. p-q-t 도표 유형분석을 통해서 결정된 주입압, 주입속도 및 주입대상지반의 입도특성, 주입재의 점도특성으로부터 도출한 결과를 그라우팅 자동관리시스템에 적용하여 그라우팅의 주입효과를 높였다. 주입 후 SPT 시험을 실시한 결과 N값이 5-20까지 증가하여 액상화에 대하여 안전한 것으로 나타났다.

  • The demand for the precision rubber products has been rapidly increasing with the recent growth of industries. And the requirement for the productivity and the quality calls out for the injection molding machines with the precision machining ability as well as the high productivity. Especially modern automobile industry is in urgent need of developing injection molding machines for the high quality rubber products with high productivity. And the inability of the domestic companies to meet the standards causes importing foreign machines and as a result spending good amount of dollars. It is extremely important to develop competitive machines and strengthen the infrastructure of the related industries. In this paper the functions and the structure of a automatic multi-nozzle injection molding machine has been studied to set up a proper test system for the precision rate and the reliability of the machines, which can help build the machines to meet the request of the industry.
