Measuring technology based on the computer and software is used worldwideiy by the aids of remarkably improved digital technology and measuring devices, and the electro- magnetic interference due to high currents and high voltages is being solved by the helps of applied optic instrumentation technology. The automatic acquisition, analysis and storage system of test data is available for utilizing the numerical computation technology. The measuring accuracy and testing efficiency are thus much higher because of the developed technologies. In this paper, the construction of data acquisition system in KERI including measuring devices and its application to the short circuit test are described, and additionally the algorithm of the analyzing program for the automatic process of test data and the results of analyses are described.

This paper presents the automatic alignment measuring system for improving the accuracy and working time of alignment of large vertical hydraulic pump turbine. It is general practice that rotating shaft should run within acceptable vibration limit. In order to obtain better run-out data of multi-stage rotor, careful and accurate alignment approach must be established. Generally, present alignment procedure are required several iterative works and so many manpower. Therefore, the new system has been developed using a vector calculation algorithm, laser sensor and data acquisition devices. As a result of appling to actual machines, it is confirmed that manpower is saved up to an average 90%.

This paper is about a vision system that exhibits automatic examination of the conditions of shaft's worm. The system is composed of three part : image acquisition, vision algorithm, and user interface. The image acquisition part is composed of motor control, illumination and optics. The vision algorithm examines the parts using shaft image. User interface is divided into two parts, user interface for feature registering with control value settings and user interface for examination operation. The automatic inspection system introduced in this paper can be used as a tool for final examination of shaft worm.

Owing to remarkable development in automotive industry, vehicle performance comes close to perfection and guarantee of stability is getting emphasized in accordance with high speed trend in vehicle. In recent years, the utilization of automatic test method for research and development of automotive brake system is being propelled actively, which pursue whole automatic control from simple measurement to data acquisition. The main subject of this paper is to make a brief explanation on Micro computer controlled Automatic Test Method for Automotive Brake System which makes it possible to test with high accuracy and speed.

This paper proposes a method of automatic function test for parts mounted Printed Circuit Board. For this purpose, we designed a Data Acquisition Equipment, PC interface card and inspection software. The experiment was done for the coffee vending machine and its result was good.

기존의 PN 부호 초기동기 장치는 AWGN 채널에 이상적으로 설계되었으므로 주파수 선택적 레일리 페이딩 채널에서는 이상적인 구조가 아니다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자동 임계치 제어(Automatic Threshold Control: ATC) 알고리즘을 적용한 디지틀 정합 필터링(DMF)을 기반으로 하여 직접 시퀀스 대역확산(DSSS) 방식에서의 PN 부호 초기동기 장치를 제안하고, 검출확률(PD)과 오류 경보확률(PFA)에 대한 성능을 분석하였다. 초기동기를 위한 탐색 기법은 직렬탐색기법을 고려하였으며, 성능평가를 위한 두 가지 확률은 도플러 주파수, 샘플링 주기, 평균 초기동기 시간 및 PN 칩율 등을 고려하여 주파수 선택적 레일리 페이딩 채널환경에서 유도하고 분석하였다. DMF를 기반으로 한 초기동기 시스템 모델은 시뮬레이션을 결과로부터 ATC 알고리즘을 채택한 모델이 기존의 일정 임계치 시스템보다 성능이 우수하다는 결론을 보였다.

This paper is keeping with the general pattern of automatic acquisition and interpretation of geographical digital data. Maps of the Institut Geographique National of France are built up with four so-called "mother" maps represented by four colors. The green one deals with the vegetation. In a green layer, woods, bushes, vines. fields and boundaries of domanial forests or nature reserves are represented by different synthetic textures We present here an original method of texture analysis applied to the automatic interpretation of vegetation belts.

The purpose of the study is to develop an integrated knowledge structuring system for the domain of engineering, in which ontology-based literature mining, knowledge acquisition, knowledge integration, and knowledge retrieval are combined using XML-based tag information and ontology management. The system supports combining different types of databases (papers and patents, technologies and innovations) and retrieving different types of knowledge simultaneously. The main objective of the system is to facilitate knowledge acquisition and knowledge retrieval from documents through an ontology-based dynamic similarity calculation and a visualization of automatically structured knowledge. Through experimentations we conducted using 100,000 words economic documents reported in the "Go！ Japan" project for analyzing Japanese industrial situation, and 100,000 words molecular biology Papers, we show the system is Practical enough for accelerating knowledge acquisition and knowledge discovery from the information sea.

본 논문에서는 임펄스 잡음이 존재할 때 주파수 지연을 추정하기 위해서 칼만 필터 자동 주파수 제어에 관해서 나타내고, 몇 가지 잘 알려진 자동 주파수 제어와 비교하였다. 칼만 필터 자동 주파수 제어는 백색 가우스 잡음에 대하여 안정된 주파수 획득 성능을 유지하면서, 임펄스 잡음에 잠재적으로 강한 특성을 보인다. 또한 제안된 기법은 고려한 모든 자동 주파수 제어 중에서 가장 빠른 초기 주파수 획득 성능을 달성할 수 있다. 그 결과 자동 주파수 제어를 학습하기 위한 프리앰블 길이를 줄일 수 있으므로 높은 송신 전력효율을 얻을 수 있다.
