SE-9000 자동 혈구계산기에서 EDTA 검체의 보관기간 및 온도가 CBC 및 백혈구 감별계산에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Storage Duration and Temperature of EDTA Specimen for CBC and WBC Differential Count in SE-9000 Automated Cell Counter)

  • Although various automated CBC analyzers with different WBC analytical principles were consequently introduced to clinical laboratory, the specific information concerning the suitability or unsuitability of aging samples is scarce. For this reason, we studied the effect of storage duration and temperature on CBC parameter in SE-9000 (SYSMEX Medical Electronics Co., Ltd., Kobe, Japan), automated CBC analyzer. We tested 32 K3-EDTA specimens with SE-9000 during 72 hours. Specimens were kept at room temperature (RT) and refrigerated and were analyzed at 0 hr, 4 hr, 8 hr, 24 hr, 48 hr and 72 hr after the collection of the specimens. The percentage changes from initial value for each parameters were calculated. Among the CBC parameters, hemoglobin, red blood cell count, mean corpuscular hemoglobin and platelets were stable for the study period at both temperatures. The mean corpuscular volume (MCV), hematocrit (Hct) and red cell distribution (RDW) increased and the mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) decreased over time at room temperature. These parameters were stable when refrigerated. The leukocyte count was stable during 72hr at RT and when refrigerated. At room temperature, the relative percentages of neutrophils tend to increase, whereas those of lymphocyte and monocytes tend to decrease after 48 hours. When refrigerated, those of neutrophils and monocytes tend to increase, whereas those of lymphocytes tend to decreased over time. CBC parameters of refrigerated specimen were reliable for 72 hr for the exception of differential count from 24 hr but many CBC parameters, such as MCV, Hct, MCHC, RDW and differential count of leukocyte of blood stored at room temperature for 24 hr were unreliable.

온라인 연속간행자료수집 및 보존에 관한 연구 (An Investigation on the Acquisition and Preservation of Online Serials)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 온라인으로만 발행되는 연속간행자료의 수집 및 보존에 대한 운영모형을 개발하기 위한 것이다. 공공기관, 단체, 연구기관의 전문가로 패널을 구성하여 델파이 조사를 실시하여 온라인 연속간행자료 보존에 따른 운영 모형 개발에 필요한 68개 세부항목을 도출하였으며, 적합성 및 시급성을 조사 분석하여 적합성 분석에 최종 선정된 57개 세부항목을 제시하였다. 온라인 연속간행자료의 수집을 위하여 RSS 기술을 이용한 콘텐츠의 자동수집방안을 제시하고, 온라인 연속간행자료에 맞는 수집 및 보존 프로세스를 설계하였다.

  • 개발자 개개인의 소프트웨어 개발 프로세스를 개선시켜 소프트웨어의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있도록 돕는 기법으로 PSP(Personal Software Process)가 널리 쓰이고 있다. PSP에 제시된 측정 및 분석활동을 지속적으로 수행함으로써 개별 개발자는 자신의 개발 프로세스에 내재된 약점을 파악할 수 있고, 이렇게 수집된 과거 프로젝트의 데이타를 이용하여 공수와 품질에 대한 예측의 정확도를 높일 수 있다. 그러나 수동으로 행해지는 데이타 수집의 오버헤드와 개발작업-측정작업 간의 문맥전환에 따른 집중력 분산의 문제점으로 인해 신뢰도 높은 데이타를 수집하기가 쉽지 않은 것이 현실이다. 한편, PSP에 제시된 문서형태의 프로세스 가이드는 프로세스 정보 검색의 불편함과 추가적인 정보를 삽입하는 데 어려움을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 개발된 PSP 지원도구를 소개한다. 개발된 도구는 데이타 수집의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 데이타 자동 수집 기능을 제공하고, PSP 프로세스 정보의 효율적인 검색을 위한 EPG(Electronic Process Guide) 기능 및 추가적인 프로세스 정보의 저장을 위한 경험 저장소 기능을 제공한다.

새꼬막의 선별과정 현황과 문제점을 고려한 자동화 선별 시스템 요소기술 (Elemental techniques for automated size sorting system considering problems and status of sorting process of ark shell (Scapharca subcrenata))

  • Seafood is attracting attention as a future food industry. In recent years, the demand for fishery equipment of mechanization, automation, and unmanned was increased due to the environment affected by seafood processing, stricter regulations on safety, decline and aging of fishery worker. Ark shell (Scapharca subcrenata) was being produced in many steps in the production process. The process has been made such as collection-landing-washing-first sort (goods/non-goods)-transports-second sort (size). It was undergone first and second steps by delivering to the consumer. Here, the first step is to sort goods to collection and the second step is to sort by size. The fishery workers need ten people in first step and six people in second step. The workload of one hour per kg is 4,247 kg/h in first step and 2,213 kg/h in second step. In addition, the goods ratio by work process was 79% in first step and 98% in the second step. In this process, a lot of fishery worker and working time is needed. Therefore, this study developed elemental techniques for an automated size sorting system considering the working process problem, time and situation for washing and sorting of ark shell.

  • 본 연구를 아우르는 질문은 "지하철 역사내부를 이동하는 개별승객은 언제 어디서 어떤수단을 이용해서 출발해서 언제 어디로 어떤 수단을 이용해서 갔는가 ?"이다. 이 물음에 답하기 위해서는 지하철 역사를 이동하는 개별승객이 이용한 정류장, 경로, 수단에 대한 파악이 선행되어야 한다. 수도권 통합대중교통요금체계에서는 AFC(자동요금징수체계)자료를 활용하면 개별대중교통이용승객의 통행수단, 정류장, 경로가 파악된다. 본 연구는 AFC자료를 이용하여 수도권의 대중교통역사의 승객이동을 지하철 환승역사의 관점에서 관찰하는 SSA(선별역사분석) 기법을 제안한다. SSA는 환승역사내 개별승객이동을 세분화하고 연계통행관점에서 최초출발역/시간과 최종도착역/시간 정보를 분석한다.

랜덤 포레스트 알고리즘을 활용한 수학 서술형 자동 채점 (Automatic scoring of mathematics descriptive assessment using random forest algorithm)

  • 학교 현장과 대규모 평가에서 서술형 문항 도입을 지원하기 위한 방안 중 하나로 인공지능 기반의 자동 채점 기술이 주목받고 있음에도 불구하고, 수학 교과에서는 타 교과에 비해 이에 대한 기초 연구가 부족한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 중학교 1학년 수학 서술형 문항 두 개를 대상으로 랜덤 포레스트 알고리즘을 활용하여 자동 채점 모델을 개발하고 그 성능을 평가하였다. 연구 결과, 두 문항에 대한 최종 모델의 평가요소별 정확도는 각각 0.95-1.00, 0.73-0.89의 범위로 나타났으며, 이는 타 교과에 비해 상대적으로 높은 수준이다. 데이터의 양을 고려한 평가 범주 설정의 중요성을 확인하였으며, 수학 교육전문가에 의한 텍스트 전처리와 데이터 특성에 맞는 벡터화 방법의 선택이 모델의 성능 및 해석 가능성을 향상시키는 데 기여하였다. 또한, 현실적 한계로 인해 균형적인 데이터 수집이 어려운 상황에서 오버샘플링이 성능을 보완하는 유용한 방법임을 확인하였다. 교육적 활용도를 높이기 위해, 랜덤 포레스트 기반 모델에서 도출된 특성 중요도를 활용하여 피드백과 같이 교수-학습에 유용한 정보를 생성하는 추가 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 수학 서술형 자동 채점에 관한 기초 연구로서 의미가 있으며, 인공지능 전문가와 수학교육 전문가 간의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 다양한 후속 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

A Design Procedure for Safety Simulation System Using Virtual Reality

  • One of the objectives of any task design is to provide a safe and helpful workplace for the employees. The safety and health module may include means for confronting the design with safety and health regulations and standards as well as tools for obstacles and collisions detection (such as error models and simulators). Virtual Reality is a leading edge technology which has only very recently become available on platforms and at prices accessible to the majority of simulation engineers. The design of an automated manufacturing system is a complicated, multidisciplinary task that requires involvement of several specialists. In this paper, a design procedure that facilitates the safety and ergonomic considerations of an automated manufacturing system are described. The procedure consists of the following major steps: Data collection and analysis of the data, creation of a three-dimensional simulation model of the work environment, simulation for safety analysis and risk assessment, development of safety solutions, selection of the preferred solutions, implementation of the selected solutions, reporting, and training When improving the safety of an existing system the three-dimensional simulation model helps the designer to perceive the work from operators point of view objectively and safely without the exposure to hazards of the actual system.

Facilitating the Usage of Value Management Processes by Charactering Capital Facility Projects

  • Defining value as a measure of how well the project value objectives are met, Value Management Process (VMP) is considered to be any management effort or process that can proactively pursue one or more project objectives (i.e., security/safety, cost effectiveness, schedule optimization, and risk containment). The collection of 44 VMPs has been established based on a rigorous effort conducted by Construction Industry Institute (CII). Because varying circumstances on each project determine the level of suitability, it is crucial to identify which VMP should be implemented on a particular project. The current VMP selection process is primarily based on human intuition. The main objective of this paper is to provide a systematic method to facilitate the usage of VMPs on a particular project. This paper identified and quantified the selection principles (i.e., targeted value objectives, timing of initiation, project characteristics, and relative impact). The data collected from industry practitioners and VMP experts characterized each VMP in terms of the magnitude of benefit. An automated selection tool by Visual Basic Application (VBA) on MS Excel TM, was developed and proved its validity. As a pioneering study, this paper provides a comprehensive and structured knowledge on the subject of VMPs. From the industry's perspective, the automated selection tool, the premier of this study, contributes the facilitation of the VMP implementations in the construction industry thereby maximizing the potential benefits to a particular project.

Field Test of Automated Activity Classification Using Acceleration Signals from a Wristband

  • Worker's awkward postures and unreasonable physical load can be corrected by monitoring construction activities, thereby increasing the safety and productivity of construction workers and projects. However, manual identification is time-consuming and contains high human variance. In this regard, an automated activity recognition system based on inertial measurement unit can help in rapidly and precisely collecting motion data. With the acceleration data, the machine learning algorithm will be used to train classifiers for automatically categorizing activities. However, input acceleration data are extracted either from designed experiments or simple construction work in previous studies. Thus, collected data series are discontinuous and activity categories are insufficient for real construction circumstances. This study aims to collect acceleration data during long-term continuous work in a construction project and validate the feasibility of activity recognition algorithm with the continuous motion data. The data collection covers two different workers performing formwork at the same site. An accelerator, as well as portable camera, is attached to the worker during the entire working session for simultaneously recording motion data and working activity. The supervised machine learning-based models are trained to classify activity in hierarchical levels, which reaches a 96.9% testing accuracy of recognizing rest and work and 85.6% testing accuracy of identifying stationary, traveling, and rebar installation actions.

사립대학도서관의 직제 현황에 관한 연구 (A study on the current status of private university library's line and staff organization)

  • This study is aimed at examination and analysis of current status of university library's line and staff organization especially the private university's. Motivation for this study is based on the following facts : First, the library work now is changing from the conventional one to automated one. Second, librarians in the front line must be trained in the newly set work because of the separation of work process in automated libraries. Methodologies of this study, apart from theoretical aspects, were visiting and interviewing librarians at 30 university libraries, examining the current status and problems of the line and staff organization of the university libraries. The result from the study is as follows: First, interviewing reveals that 35% of the 75 private university library is having 'associate directorship by librarian' system. Benefits from this system are described, recommending other University libraries adopt this system. This system su n.0, pplements the weak point of concurrent director's office of lay professor, as well as encourages librarian's morale by promotion. Second, the current organization of the university libraries are to be reformed. Namely, 1) the name of each division must be newly and a n.0, ppropriately set of changed suiting for the work of automated library, thus reforming the division. This must be conducted via collection of opinions of the Korean Library and Information Science Society' and associated organizations. 2) Newly formed division(for example, administrative division or division of operation and management, division conducting digital library work, etc.) must be added to the line and staff organization. 3) For information service division, there must be a certain number of subject specialists. 4) Status of the directorship of university library, librarianship, issue of renaming of university library are also described.
