  • 본 연구에서는 CAD 시스템의 테이터구조로 부터 특성을 추출하여 CAPP 시스템 의 입력으로 사용되는 형상특징을 자동적으로 인식하고 형상특징의 관련정보를 생성하 는 형상특징인식시스템을 개발하는데 있다. X.Y.Z 축에 수직인 평면들로 구성되는 비회전형상부품을 대상으로 하여, 주로 밀링작업과 연관이 있는 관통슬롯, 막힌슬롯, 관통스텝, 막힌스텝, 포켓의 5가지 형상특징을 자동적으로 인식하는데 특히 X.Y.Z축에 수직인 평면들로 구성되고 내부에 볼록 부위가 업는 형상 특징을 대상으로 한다. CAD시스템은 AutoCAD를 사용하여 퍼스널 컴퓨터에서 시스템을 개발한다.

  • Adaptive channel equalization accomplished without resorting to a training sequence is known as blind equalization. In this paper, we present a auto-switching blind, equalization for 8-VSB HDTV receiver. The scheme operate in two mode : blind equalization mode and decision-directed equalization mode. This proposed scheme changes from the blind equalization mode at high error levels to the decision-directed equalization mode at lower error levels smoothly and automatically. Manual switch from the blind equalization mode to the decision-directed mode is not necessary.

  • 정준상관분석 (canonical correlation analysis, CCA)은 두 변수집단 사이의 선형 관계를 측정하는 확률적 분석 기법으로 이를 이용하여 다수의 신호가 혼재되어 수신된 신호로부터 각각의 신호원을 분리하는 것이 가능하다. 기존에 CCA와 자기회귀(auto regressive) 기법을 이용하여 혼재된 신호를 분리하는 기법이 제안되었으나 신호원 분리를 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 높은 신호 대 잡음비 (signal-to-noise ratio)가 요구되는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 자기회귀 기법의 파라미터 계산시 잡음성분이 포함되어있는 자기공분산 행렬의 주대각 원소를 제거하여 잡음의 영향을 최소화하고 이를 통하여 신호원 분리 성능을 개선하는 방안을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 기존에 제안된 CCA와 자기회귀을 이용한 신호 분리 기법에 비하여 더 우수한 신호 분리 성능을 보일 뿐 만 아니라 신호원 분리 과정에서 요구되는 계산량을 줄일 수 있다.

자동 조도 조절 블라인드 시스템 설계 및 제작에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Design and Manufacturing of the Blind System with Auto-controlled Illuminance)

  • A blind system for window glass has been designed and manufactured as a CapStone Design project at Seoul National University of Science and Technology. This system automatically controls the interior illuminance to maintain a uniform temperature. The aim of this project was to support an air conditioning system and heating equipment to maintain a good indoor environment. Proportional integral differential (PID) control using cadmium sulfide (CdS) sensors was applied to control it. Polaroid film was attached to the new blind system to reflect sunlight. It was found that the system had the potential to reduce energy consumption and may be used with a building energy management system (BEMS).

자궁경부 세포검사에서 기존 도말과 AutoCyte PREP의 비교 (A Comparision of AutoCyte PREP with Matched Conventional Smear in Cervicovaginal Cytology)

  • This study was designed to compare the performance of liquid-based preparation from the AutoCyte PREP with the conventional cervicovaginal smear in masked split-samples. In randomly selected 840 cases, the conventional smear was always prepared first, and the AutoCyte PREP used the resldual cells on the collecting device. Parallel AutoCyte PREP slides and matched conventional smears were screened in a blind fashion. All abnormals and 10% random normal cases were reviewed by two pathologists in a blind fashion. The Bethesda System was used for reporting the diagnosis and specimen adequacy. The diagnoses from the two methods were agreed exactly in 767(91.3%) of 840 cases. The AutoCyte PREP demonstrated a 25% overall improvement in the detection of squamous intraepithelial lesion(SIL). The ratio of ASCUS to SIL was decreased as 0.45 compared with 1.00 of conventional smear. The AutoCyte PREP produced excellent cellular preservation and superior sensitivity for detection of atypical cells as compared to the conventional smear. It makes us to be able to subclassify ASCUS into from WNL to HSIL. We thought that the AutoCyte PREP method might contribute to increase the detection rate of abnormal cells than conventional methods.

도로 선형에 따른 사각지역 감시장치 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Assessment of Blind Spot Detection for Road Alignment)

  • Recently, in order to reduce traffic accident related fatalities, increasing number of studies are conducted regarding the vehicle safety enhancement devices. But very few studies about test procedures and requirements for vehicle safety systems are being carried out. Since BSD, as one of the most important safety features, is installed on a new vehicle, its performance test method has to be evaluated. Independent factors irrelevant to the device types including collision position, vehicle speed and closing speed are used to calculate test distance away from the current vehicle. Effect of roadway geometry as radius of curvature is introduced to propose possible misjudgement of following vehicle as adjacent one. The study results would be utilized to enhance the test procedure of BSD performance.

  • 본 논문에서 구현한 자동 블라인드 제어 A.B.C는 라즈베리파이와 어플리케이션의 소켓통신을 활용한 블라인드 컨트롤 프로그램으로서 어플리케이션에서 신호를 송신하면 그에 따른 명령을 수행하여 조도값의 크기나 사용자의 목적에 따라 블라인드를 조절할 수 있도록 설계한 프로그램이다.

  • This paper presents a method for automatic part feature recognition from the database of AutoCAD system for automatic process planning input. The parts considered in this study are primastic parts composed of faces perpendicular to the X, Y, Z axes and the types of features considered are through steps, blind steps, through slots, blind slots, and pockets. Features are recognized by using the concept of convex points and concave points. The software program is coded by using Turbo Pascal on the IBM PC/AT.

능동 안전장치의 한국 운전자 주행 평가 (Active Safety Features Evaluation with Korean Drivers)

  • A study assessing driver acceptance level for various active safety systems against Korean drivers has been conducted. A 2013 Cadillac ATS model vehicle was tested along southern outskirt of Seoul including local roadway and interurban highway. Active safety systems included were FCA(Forward Collision Alert), LDW(Lane Departure Warning), SBZA(Side Blind Zone Alert), FRPA(Front/Rear Park Assist), RCTA(Rear Cross Traffic Alert), ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control), and AEB(Autonomous Emergency Braking). Participants experienced the FRPA, RCTA and AEB features in a controlled parking lot with a dummy vehicle and traffic cones as target obstacles. Remaining features have been tested on the accumulated stretched of 106 km long urban and interurban roadway. Series of questionnaires corresponding to each active safety systems have been conducted. Tentative results revealed that RCTA and SBZA systems received favourable ratings compared to the other ones.

능동안전장치의 소비자 인식 연구 (A Study on the Consumer Insights of Active Safety Features)

  • The objective of this paper is to understand value of active safety features on the customer perspective. In this study, 30 participants who don't have experience with active safety features were recruited and asked for preference, usefulness and consideration of each active safety feature after driving evaluation by them. Through this research, the preference of active safety features were analyzed and which of active safety features were the most useful and the most considered by customer when they purchase new vehicle. As a result, adaptive cruise control and side blind zone alert were the most strongly preferred and considered features by respondents and it means that respondents wanted comfort environment while driving and seemed to value features that compensated for limited visibility. On the other hand, active safety features that warned driver without control of the vehicle was deemed generally less desirable such as lane departure warning and forward collision alert. But autonomous emergency braking was higher than the other active safety features with only warning even if they did not have experience for it while this test. They thought it will be helpful in case of front-end collision situation even they just listened description before the test.
