  • This study analyzes factors that determine the usage of digital information by senior consumers in the mobile environment. Senior consumers are alienated from digital information in South Korea; therefore, there have been increasing attempts to resolve this digital divide and reduce the digital information usage gap between young adults and senior consumers. The study used panel data from the National Information Society Agency (2017); there were 1,463 participants, aged 50-79 years. SPSS 19.0 was used to conduct the statistical analyses for frequency, factor analysis, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$ analysis, descriptive analysis and hierarchical multiple-regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, negative attitude toward information society negatively influenced the mobile digital information usage in diversity context. Second, average monthly income, degree of digital device usage motivation, positive attitude toward digital device usage, digital literacy of PC & Mobile, and family support positively influenced the mobile digital information usage in diversity context. Third, negative attitudes toward information society negatively influenced the mobile digital information usage in quality context. Forth, average monthly income, degree of digital device usage motivation, positive attitude toward digital device usage, digital literacy of PC & mobile, and family support positively influenced the mobile digital information usage in quality context. The study results can help further understand mobile usage behaviors among senior citizens and the implications on their quality of life in the digital information era.

  • The purpose of this study identifies how attributes of the website influences on consumer attitude toward the website. For this purpose, the study tested covariance structural model which set relationships among independent variables(interactivity, search and visual information of website), mediated variables(utilitarian shopping value and hedonic shopping value) and dependent variables(attitude toward website). The data were collected from a sample of 271 internet shopper of university students(male: 82, female: 189). They visited the website for apparel shopping and, after searching a casual clothing which they wanted to buy, requested to answer the questionnaire. The covariance structural model and research hypothesis analyzed by using AMOS 4.0 program. The results are as follows: First, the structural model is accepted significantly. Second, interactivity of the website has a positive impact on perceived utilitarian and hedonic shopping values of the website and visual information of the website also influence hedonic shopping value of the website positively. Third, utilitarian and hedonic shopping values have a positive influence on attitude toward the website for apparel shopping.

Applying the convenience sampling, total 326 questionnaire were collected from university students who were randomly selected as participants. This study used frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and t-test for data analysis. The finding are as follows. Price-attitude toward apparel products was categorized into information leading, price dignity, price discount, list price orientation, quality value and using coupons. Shopping tendency factors were found as pursuit of pleasure, pursuit of sociality, and pursuit of economic feasibility. Consumption behavior factors were categorized into impulsive buying, ostentatious consumption, utilization of internet information, possession of material and brand trust. Price-attitude toward apparel products had a significant effect on shopping values and consumption behavior. • The objective of this study were to identify the state of re. cognition and attitude of residents in Seoul city about air environment and to identify factors affecting attitude toward air environment. Study object was residents in Seoul city sampled by multistage random proportional sampling. Sample size was 0.0067%(500 persons) of total residents in Seoul city. The results were divided into two parts: (1) descriptive results of recognition and attitude toward air environment, (2) results of factor analysis to classify categories of attitudes toward air environment and regression analysis to identify factors affecting attitude toward air environment. Most of resident in Seoul city recognized that air environment in Seoul city was highly polluted and was not satisfactory. Experience of damage of air pollution was reported in about 70% of residents in Seoul city. More than 60% of residents in Seoul city had concern about air environment. • In the era of Web 2.0, social media advertising can simultaneously stimulate consumers' brand purchase intention and brand information sharing intention. Product sales and brand information diffusion are equally important for a company that conducts advertising. This study investigates how features of brand content influence social media advertising effectiveness by integrating the stimulus-organism-response model and classic advertising effectiveness models. An analysis of 267 survey questionnaires shows that brand content-related cues, including perceived uniqueness, perceived vividness, and perceived interactivity have significant effects on consumers' affective and cognitive involvement, which then affect their attitude toward brand content. As a result, the consumers' attitude toward the brand and their brand purchase intention, as well as their brand content sharing intention, are positively affected by attitude toward brand content. This study contributes to a better understanding of how social advertising works, which suggests that managers should effectively use social media to conduct advertising.

  • This study identified convergent validity and discriminant validity of measurement variables by factor analysis using Spss program and tested covariance measurement model including latent variables such as the website attributes (interactivity, search and visual information of website), shopping values(utilitarian and hedonic value) and attitude toward website by AMOS program. The data were collected from a sample of 271 internet shopper of university students(male: 82, female: 189). They visited the website for apparel shopping and, after searching a casual clothing which they wanted to buy, requested to answer the questionnaire. The results were as follows: Variables that reduce validity were deleted in the several steps of factor analysis and initial measurement model testing. Final measurement model was constructed by valid variables was accepted. This measurement model will be input for testing causal research model that can explain how attributes of the website influences on consumer attitude toward the website.

  • This study aims to examine the factors influencing user attitude toward Smart Home service as the demand of Smart Home service is increasing and it somewhat involves privacy risk. To this end, the research model includes five independent variables, trust in service provider, perceived privacy risk, self efficacy, interpersonal influence, and external influence, influencing the attitude toward Smart Home service. So, this study aims to analyze which variable is the most critical and influential among the five factors and suggest the direction of Smart Home industries. This study first reviews the literature on Smart Home services and describes its Korean situation. Data were collected from residents living in a smart apartment complex. The results show that (1) users have a very positive attitude toward Smart Home service in total, (2) trust in service providers, self efficacy, and interpersonal influence positively impact user attitude toward Smart Home service and interpersonal influence is the most influential variable, however, (3) perceived privacy risk and external influence dose not significantly impact it. These results imply that the role of service providers, self efficacy, and interpersonal influence are important factors on the user attitude toward Smart Home service. Finally, the study's findings and limitations are discussed and potential avenues for future research are suggested.

  • This study examined differences in body mass index (BMI), self-esteem, sociocultural attitude toward appearance, and diet awareness between genders as well as the effect of BMI, self-esteem, and sociocultural attitude toward appearance on diet awareness. This study surveyed adults between the ages of 20 and 29 who lived in Daegu and Uijeongbu from November $17^{th}$ to December $14^{th}$ 2014. Data collected from 258 respondents were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, regression analysis, and ${\chi}^2$ test. The study results showed that the respondents could be divided into three groups (underweight group, standard weight group, and overweight group) by BMI and a large percentage of respondents were in the standard weight group. The percentage of standard weight females was higher than standard weight males. There were significant differences in BMI, sociocultural attitude toward appearance (such as self-awareness), and diet awareness between genders; however, there was no difference in self-esteem. Men also had a higher BMI than women; however, women were more self-aware of sociocultural standards for appearance, desired a slim body and wanted educational information on diet. BMI and sociocultural attitude toward appearance had positive effects on diet awareness. Self-awareness was a strong predictor of diet awareness and self-esteem had no significant effect on diet awareness.
