A Study on consumer Attitude and Consumer Role Performance (소비자태도와 소비자역할수행에 관한 연구)

  • The objectives of this study were (1) to find out if consumer attitude variables, that is, attitude on post-industrial age consumer value, attitude on consumerism, have significant effects on consumer role performance, (2) to find out if socio-demographic variables, that is, age, educational level, family income, social status, have significant effects on consumer role performance, (3) to examine the independent influences of variables related to each subarea consumer role performance. The data used in this study inclued 573 homemakers living in Seoul. Statistical methods were ANOVA and Multiple Regression Analysis. Major findings were as follows;1) consumer role performance and each subarea consumer role performance differed significantly according to all the variables related to consumer attitude. 2) All the socio-demographic variables had significant effects on consumer role performance. 3) Resulting from multiple regression analysis, consumer role performance and all the subarea consumer role performance had the positive liner relationships with the variables such as attitude on post-industrial age consumer value, attitude on consumerism, educational level, The most influencial variable was attitude on post-industrial age consumer value, and in turn educational level and attitude on consumerism.

Development and Implementation of Performance Assessment for Middle School Mathematics (중학교 수학과 수행평가의 개발과 적용 효과에 관한 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to define performance assessment of mathematics, to make a model of performance task of mathematics for the first grade middle school students in higher group, to examine validity and reliability of performance task and to investigate the effects on the students' achievement and attitude. It first defines performance assessment and exanmines its main features and scoring methods. Based on these, nine performance assessment tasks and scoring criteria were designed for the first grade middle school students in higher group. The validity of performance tasks were examined by experts. The loaming achievement and mathematical attitude test between two groups were performed as pre and post test. The thinking of students about performance assessment was investigated by attitude survey. The results of this study are as follows: First, the validity of the performance tasks is very high. Second, The control group. Forth, there is a difference in student's attitude about mathematics between scorer reliability was high due to the scorer training. Third, there is little difference in teaming achievement between experimental and experimental and control group in 5% meaningful levels. That is, student's of both groups attitude about mathematics comes negatives, but the width of change of negative attitude in experimental group is less than control group. In the trend of negative attitude of mathematics as grade comes higher, this results showed that performance assessment of mathematics had positive influence on attitude of mathematics. The result of survey about mathematical performance assessment experience showed that students have positive attitude to performance assessment and recognized effectiveness of the performance assessment of mathematics.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between parents’attitude and their actual performance in home education and adolescent children’s acceptance, and to inquire the difference in relation to social-demographic variables with the subject of family with teenagers. The main results were as follows: 1) There were significant difference between father’s attitude and mothers in home education. And there were significant difference between father’s attitude and mothers according to variables in each area. 2) There were significant differences between father’s performance and mother’s in home education. 3) Adolescent children’s acceptance level was 3.26 (standard 5) and was average. there were significant differences in adolescent children’s acceptance level in accordance with parents’school careers, father’s job, child’s sex and school record. 4) There were relationships between parents’attitude and performance in home education when father’s attitude was confident attitude and situational attitude in education method, and when mother’s attitude was confident attitude. 5) There were relationships only when father’s attitude was confident attitude, and there were no relationships in other case. 6) There were relationships between parents’performance and adolescent children’s acceptance.

Predictors of Terminal Care Performance of Clinical Nurses for Cancer Patients (암환자를 돌보는 간호사의 임종간호수행에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of death perception, terminal care attitude on clinical nurses' terminal care performance for cancer patients. Methods: Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires filled by 526 nurses at a General Hospital in Seoul. Data were analyzed using a multiple regression analysis. Results: Death perception showed a positive correlation with terminal care attitude (r = .45, p < .001), while there was no correlation with terminal care performance. Additionally, terminal care attitude had a positive correlation with terminal care performance (r = .18, p < .001). The explanatory power of nurses' death perception and terminal care attitude toward terminal care performance was 14%. Conclusions: The study results imply that nurses' death perception and terminal care attitude are significant variables affecting terminal care performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between the attitude and performance for the etiquette of vocational high school girls. The main results were as follows: 1) The effective factor of their attitude for the etiquette is the communication level among family members. 2) There is static correlations between their attitude and performance for the etiquette. 3) In order to increase the level of their performance for the etiquette, we should raise the level of their attitude for the etiquette through harmonious communication among family members.

A Study on the Intergenerrational Consumption-oriented attitude and consumer role performance (세대별 소비지향태도와 소비자역할수행에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of intergenerational consumption-oriented attitude and consumer role performance. Major findings are as follows; 1) There is significant difference between the consumption-oriented attitudes of respective generations. The means of New generation are higher than the other generations especially in amusemental consumption-oriented attitude and tenacious consumption-oriented attitude. Baby-boomer generation is more interested in consumption than any other generation and has a rational consumption-oriented attitude. The older generation is passive to consumption and their consumption-oriented attitudes are those of amusement. 2) There is also the significant gap between the consumer role performance of generations. The means of new generation and older generation are higher in consumer role performances than other generations and are especially doing better in the roles of estimator and manager. 3) consumption-oriented attitudes illustrate the variation of consumer role performance and the stronger the rational or tenacious consumption-oriented attitude, the higher the consumer role performance and the higher the rational or tenacious consumption-oriented attitude, and the lower the passive consumption-oriented attitude, the higher the consumer performance. In purchaser and manager role, the more positive the consumption and the higher the rational consumption-oriented attitudes, the better the consumer role performance.

The Effects and Continuum of CPR Education Program on CPR Knowledge, Attitude and Performance in Seafarers (심폐소생술 교육프로그램이 선박승무원의 심폐소생술 지식, 태도 및 수행능력에 미치는 효과와 지속성)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of CPR education programs on seafarers and the retention period of the knowledge. The subjects of this study were 40 seafarers who took safety training courses at the Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology. The seafarers were tested for their knowledge and attitude before, immediately after, 1 month after, and 3 months after the CPR education program. Data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, ${\chi}^2-test$, and t-test, and ANOVA was measured repeatedly using an SPSS statistical program. Knowledge, attitude, and performance ability were significantly increased post-education as compared to pre-education. Knowledge, attitude and performance ability were consistent when tested after 1 month, but knowledge, attitude, and performance ability were significantly decreased when tested three months later. Therefore, to maintain knowledge, attitude, and skills in performing CPR, appropriate renewal times are necessary in regular seafarers' safety training centers and sailing vessels.

A Study on Ethical Attitude to DNR and Terminal Care Performance of Hospital Nurse (종합병원간호사의 DNR(Do-not- resuscitate)에 대한 윤리적 태도와 임종간호수행에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose. The purposed of this study was done to DNR attitude and terminal care performance among hospital nurses. Methods. The participants were 207 nurses working in hospital nurses in D and G cities. Data on DNR attitude and terminal care performance were collected via questionnaire between April 2015 and July 2015. Data analysis was done with SPSS 12.0 program and included one-way ANOVA, independent t-test, and Pearson correlation. Result. DNR attitude of participants in this study were shown to have high levels (DNR attitude: M=32.64/60, SD=6.14). Terminal care performance of participants in this study were shown to have poor levels (physical M=20.72/32, SD=3.77, psychological M=20.26/32, SD=3.85, spiritual M=9.62/24, SD=3.65). The attitude of the hospital nurse was significantly different according to the marital status. The terminal care performance was significantly different according to experience of terminal care. The DNR attitude by nurses was positively correlation to physioloical terminal care performance(r=.137, p<.049) but the relationship between the psychological terminal care performance( r=.016, p=.815) and spiritual terminal care performance showed no correlation(r=-.099, p=.157). Conclusion. The results of this study indicate that it is necessary to increase DNR attitude and to encourage terminal care performance among hospital nurses.

Analysis of factors affecting the implementation of CPR by dental hygienists in certain regions (일부지역 치과위생사의 심폐소생술에 관한 영향요인 분석)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge of dental hygienists on CPR, their CPR attitude and performance ability in an effort to offer data that can contribute to the development of a more effective CPR education program. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 234 dental hygienists in Jeollanam and Jeollabukdo from February 24 to May 20, 2017. The questionnaire asked dental hygienists of the knowledge, attitude, performance ability in regards to CPR. The data were analyzed using SPSS Window ver. 19.0 program through independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and multiple regression analysis. The Cronbach alpha of their CPR knowledge was 0.78, and that of attitude to CPR was 0.79. The Cronbach alpha of CPR performance ability was 0.96. Results: The dental hygienists surveyed in this study who were aware of CPR accounted for 88.9% of total subjects. Dental hygienists who were certified in CPR accounted for 20.5% of total subjects. They received a score of 7.66 on CPR knowledge, 3.33 on attitude and 2.61 on performance ability. There was a positive correlation between the knowledge and attitude, between the knowledge and performance ability and between the attitude and performance ability (r=0.332, r=0.461, r=0.426). A regression analysis showed that the dental hygienists who were younger, who graduated from a four-year university or a higher educational institution, who were CPR certificate holders, who received more CPR education, who were cognizant of automated external defibrillator, who were more knowledgeable on CPR and who took a more positive attitude were more likely to be affected in terms of CPR performance. Conclusions: The dental hygienists surveyed were aware of CPR on the whole, but their CPR knowledge, attitude and performance were not sufficient to perform CPR in emergency situations. More intensive education should be provided for dental hygienists to have an accurate knowledge of CPR to carry it out with a positive attitude.

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm whether user attitude and expectation make a significant difference on the system performance according to management level of IS. The management level is defined as a evaluation of IS and project management. Field research was employed to empirically investigate the relationship among the variables. The finding of the study can be summarized as follows. The positive attitude has a favorable effect on the system performance. But high expectation shows low performance under the strict evaluation.
