신형상 냉간성형 단면의 구조적 거동(II) - 휨거동 (Structural Behavior of Newly Developed Cold-Formed Steel Sections(II) - Flexural Behavior)

  • 스터드, 조이스트 및 지붕 트러스에 적용하기 위한 폐단면 냉간성형부재의 휨실험을 수행하고 해석치와 비교하여 보았다. 길이 2.4m, 폭 0.9m의 휨 시편은 46cm 간격의 두 개의 강재보의 한면에 석고보드와 합판을 부착한 시편과 부착하지 않은 시편으로 구성되었고, 각 시편에 대한 정, 부모멘트실험을 수행하여, 강재보에 부착된 합판 및 석고보드가 강재의 좌굴거동에 미치는 영향을 포함한 합성거동을 파악하였다. 또한 합판이 부착된 실물 트러스 실험을 통하여 트러스 부재의 좌굴거동 및 파괴양상에 대하여 연구하였다.

Experimental investigation of magnetic-mount PZT-interface for impedance-based damage detection in steel girder connection

  • Among various structural health monitoring technologies, impedance-based damage detection has been recognized as a promising tool for diagnosing critical members of civil structures. Since the piezoelectric transducers used in the impedance-based technique should be bonded to the surface of the structure using bonding layers (e.g., epoxy layer), it is hard to maintain the as-built condition of the bonding layers and to reconfigure the devices if needed. This study presents an experimental investigation by using magnetically attached PZT-interface for the impedance-based damage detection in bolted girder connections. Firstly, the principle of the impedance-based damage detection via the PZT-interface device is outlined. Secondly, a PZT-interface attachment method in which permanent magnets are used to replace the conventional bonding layers is proposed. Finally, the use of the magnetic attraction for the PZT-interface is experimentally evaluated via detecting the bolt-loosening events in a bolted girder connection. Also, the sensitivity of impedance signatures obtained from the PZT-interface is analyzed with regard to the interface's material.

  • poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) is a bacterially derived copolymer produced by fermentation. PHBV has been attractive because of its potential environmental, pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. Recently, the electrospinning technique has been used to fabricate fibrous mat for biomedical applications such as artificial blood vessel, drug release and scaffolds, because this method is simple and easy to get ultrafine polymer fibers. Depending on speed of rotation drum collector, fiber structure was different. In this work, PHBV fiber was aligned by electrospinnning machine. Furthermore, alignment of PHBV fiber mats was given angle such as $45^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$. The morphology of each aligned PHBV fiber mat was observed by SEM technique. The mechanical property was evaluated depending on alignment angle. Especially, cell attachment ability depending on alignment of PHBV fiber mats was carried out using MG- 63 osteoblast like cells.

  • The graft copolymer of chitosan with amino acid, L-lysine was synthesized by heterogeneous copolymerization and was evaluated as an artificial skin. The mechanical properties under dry and wet state, water content, water vapor transmittance rate and biodegradability were measured. The tensile strength and elongation under wet state ranged $0.3-0.5\;kg/mm^2$, 10-13%, respectively. Water vapor transmittance rate ranged $450-500\;g/m^2{\cdot}day$ like that of the normal skin. The weight loss of prepared membrane by protease IV was measured for the degree of biodegradation. The degree of biodegradation was around 15% and after 4 days it was slow. Biocompatibility was evaluated by studying the attachment of human fibroblast on the prepared membrane surface.

  • Since 1980, the water quality of ultra-pure water has been rapidly improved, and presently ultra-pore water producing equipment for 64Mbit is in operation. Table 1 shows the degree of integration of DRM and required water quality exlmple. The requirements of the ultra-pure water for 64Mbit are resistivity: 18.2 MQ/cm or higher, number of particulates: 1 pc/ml or less (0.05 $\mu$m or larger). bacteria count: 0.1 pc/l or less. TOC (Total Organic Carbon, index of organic snbstance) : 1ppb or less, dissolved oxygen: 5ppb or less, silica: 0.5ppb or less, heavy metal ions: 5ppb or less. The effect of metals on the silicon wafer has been well known, and recently it has been reported that the existence of organic substance in ultra-pure water is closely related to the device defect, drawing attention. It is reported that if organic substance sticks to the natural oxidation film, the oxide film remaims on the organic substance attachment in the hydrofluoric acid treatment (removal of natural oxidation film). The organic substance forms film on the silicon wafer, and harmful elements such as metals and N.P.S., components contained in the organic substance and the bad effect due to the generatinn of silicon carbide cannot be forgotten. In order to remove various impurities in raw water, many technological develoments (membrane, ion exchange, TOC removal, piping material, microanalysis, etc.) have been made with ultra-pure water producing equipment and put to practical use. In this paper, technologies put to practical use in recent ultra-pure vater producing equimeut are introduced.

$e^-$-$CF_4$산란중에서 전자군의 확산계수 및 에너지분포함수 연구 (Analysis of Electron Swarm Diffusion Coefficients and Energy Distribution Function in $e^-$-$CF_4$ Scattering)

  • In this paper, the behavior of electron swarm parameters and energy distribution function of the discharge under high E/N condition in e$^{-10}$ -CF$_{4}$ gas have been analysed over the E/N range from 1-300(Td) by the MCS and BEq methods using set of electron collision cross section determined by the authors. The swarm parameters and energy distribution function have been calculated for the pulsed Townsend, steady-state Townsend and Time of Flight methods. The results gained that the value of electron swarm parameters such as the electron drift velocity, the electron ionization and attachment coefficients and longitudinal diffusion coefficients in agreement with the experimental and theoretical data for a range of E/N. The electron energy distribution function has been explained and analysed in e$^{-10}$ -CF$_{4}$ at E/N : 5, 10, 100, 200, 300(Td) for a case of the equilibrium region in the mean electron energy and respective set of electron collision cross sections. The validity of the results has been confirmed by TOF and SST methods.

  • A backscatter Kikuchi diffraction attachment to an SEM enables the convenient investigation of grain orientations on bulk or micro surface. Their relation to micro structural features gives insight into many aspects of anisotropic materials properties. In micro area such as Micro Electro Mechanical Systems(MEMS) devices is required in order to improve understanding of how they may be expected to perform upon the micro scale. Electro Back Scatter Diffraction (EBSD) helps us to find uniform area as MEMS material. The ${\gamma}-TiAl$ has two different lamellar structures ${\gamma}/{\alpha}2-Ti_3Al$ phase which have shows $\{111\}{\gamma}//\{0001\}{\alpha}2$ plane indexing. The micro size testing specimen was successfully made by this structural relation. Interlamellar structure specimen averagely show $20{\sim}25%$ lower fracture toughness value compare with translamellar specimens Moreover micro fracture surface and micro crack progress were observed.

치근피개술의 임상적 효과 비교 (A Comparison of Clinical Effect for Root Coverage)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare clinical effect of the Langer & Langer technique, the modified Langer & Langer technique and Bruno technique. Material and Methods: 30 patients who have gingiva recession(Miller class I or class II) were carried root coverage. Langer & Langer technique(14 patients/32 tooth), modified Langer & Langer technique(5 patients/10 tooth) and Bruno technique(11 patients/18 tooth) was carried. At baseline and average 3 months after operation, it was estimated clinical index(Pocket depth, gingiva recession, clinical attachment level, keratinized gingiva, scar tissue, root coverage rate) by Williams style probe. Result: Root coverage rate is indicated Langer & Langer technique(8S%), Modified Langer & Langer technique(86%) and Bruno technique(90%). Conclusion: All three of the procedures were effective in gingival recession and improved clinical parameters.

TBRI를 통한 청소년 교육시설 인테리어 테라피 사례 연구 (Interior Therapy Cases Analysis of Youth Educational Facilities through Trust-Based Relational Intervention(TBRI))

  • During adolescence, youths may experience many unexpected changes due to sudden variances. At that time, youths were found to show rebellious or abnormal behaviors due to psychological wounds. These are often caused by psychological wounds oriented at home or at school, which may make some problems in adolescents' self-respect and attachment. In this study, we plan to conduct an analysis of the case of the interior therapy of educational facilities through TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) to discover how psychological therapy for youths is applied to an interior environment. The cases analysis are conducted based on the three principles of TBRI and the twenty seven detailed keywords within each principle. The research method is oriented on the research of literature focusing on TBRI-related external studies and domestic/external studies of interior therapy. The ranges of the case study are studied in six educational facilities retrieved and extracted from the website 'Archdaily' and from the 2019 Journal of the Korean Institute of Educational Facilities. The research article are concluded that TBRI's principles were applied to shape, finish material, color, lighting, furniture layout, plan layout, sculpture, and built-in-furniture by analyzing the interior therapy of educational facilities according to the elements of TBRI.

절연유체 내 2상유동을 고려한 뇌임펄스 응답 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis for Dielectric Liquid Discharge under Lightning Impulse Considering Two-Phase Flow)

  • Discharge analysis technique for dielectric liquid was presented by using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) under a lightning impulse incorporating two-phase flow phenomena which described gas and liquid phases in discharge space. Until now, the response of step voltage has been extensively explored, but that of lightning impulse voltage was rarely viewed in the literature. We, therefore, developed an analyzing technique for dielectric liquid in a tip-sphere electrode stressed by a high electric field. To capture the bubble phase, the Heaviside function was introduced mathematically and the material functions for the ionization, dissociation, recombination, and attachment were defined in liquid and bubble, respectively. By using this numerical setup, the molecular dissociation and ionization mechanisms were tested under low and high electric fields resulted from the lightning impulse voltage of 1.2/50 ${\mu}s$. To verify our numerical results, the velocity of electric field wave was measured and compared to the previous experimental results which can be viewed in many papers. Those results had good agreement with each other.
