The purpose of this study is to suggest improvement directions and analysis of assistive technology service linkage on public benefits in local assistive technology center. The service steps and the main program parts of public benefits linkage in local assistive technology center was identified, and the present status of associated repair works and contact suppliers of assistive technology device in local community was investigated. The result showed the most common level of associated status to provide information of assistive technology devices in public benefits. All the centers provided repair service, and it was typically performed to light maintenance. The centers offered with associated professional repair service supplier for high maintenance service. The connection with assistive technology device supplier appeared a lot of regional difference. Henceforth, the centers will be required to distribute more various assistive technology devices, it is necessary upgrading the quality of information and interaction with the public benefits supporting organizations through its expansion, and it is need to ensure based on policy through the analysis of the effectiveness about linkage.

This study rehabilitation assistive technology system for people with disabilities employed by a company in the field of occupations and job satisfaction have adapted to, and for the rehabilitation assistive technology support(rehabilitation assistive technology hardware and the software) and service quality based on the quality of convenient for employees to work life by analyzing the factors that can act on adaptation employees on behavioral intentions was to determine the overall impact. Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon companies based in vocational education and training received in the employment of the disabled subject questionnaires were distributed, and finally 594 valid questionnaires were minor. In order to test the hypothesis SEM(structural equation model) were used, the results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, rehabilitation assistive technology hardware quality of the quality of rehabilitation assistive technology software affected. Second, rehabilitation assistive technology software quality on the quality of the service quality affected. Third, rehabilitation assistive technology hardware quality on the quality of the service quality affected. Fourth, quality of service, the quality of the adaptation of action for employees affected also. Fifth, rehabilitation assistive technology software for adaptive quality of the employees also had an impact on behavior. Sixth, rehabilitation assistive technology hardware to adapt the quality of the employees affected. And parameters (quality of service quality) influenced to as indirect effects. The results of this study support the rehabilitation assistive technology and rehabilitation assistive technology hardware and software) based, quality of service and quality of fused form acceptable to, the degree of action for employees to adapt more implications that may affect have provided.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the satisfaction with repair service of assistive technology devices for the disabled and the current state of the service, find the problems of the repair service, and to seek an effective development plan. This study had been conducted from July to October, 2015, with 750 disabled, and 280 completed questionnaires were returned and analyzed. Among assistive technology devices, the devices that required repair most were mobility devices. Repair was made mostly in purchase agencies and the repair institute. In the satisfaction survey, the causes for somewhat dissatisfaction were long repair time and complicated repair application and procedure. With regard to the central government's roles to active repair service for assistive technology devices, it was found that it was very necessary to expand the promotion of repair support business, come up with the criteria about repair support items and support amount, and establish the legal system to repair assistive technology devices. Therefore, in order to provide more effective and systematic repair service for assistive technology devices, it will be necessary to establish repairing process of assistive technology devices and standardization of costs that repair assistive technology devices.

The purpose of this study is to examine the awareness and demands from assistive technology professionals on the service and propose practical methods for AAC service. This study selected subjects who are experts working in 10 assistive technology centers and survey was conducted among 69 assistive technology professionals. Results from this study are presented as follows. First, many assistive technology professionals learned AAC through school course. Second, there was a significant difference in the presence of using AAC experience regarding their general awareness of the understanding and interests on AAC. Third, many responders said that it is significant to provide AAC information and extend supports for AAC users and providers. They added that demands of AAC will grow in the future and engineering-based ACC instruments will take up the most market. This study will enable AAC service to offer basic data to establish more efficient supportive direction for AAC users and providers of the assistive technology center.

This study analyzed research trends of assistive devices used to prevent and support disability and increase convenience for people with disabilities in their daily lives. As a result, related research has continuously increased, and the research area has expanded from survey research to service-related research and assistive device development research. In addition, with regard to the use of related terms, terms such as 'rehabilitation engineering' and 'rehabilitation assistive technology' were used in the early stages. Currently, terms such as 'assistive technology', 'assistive technology service', 'assistive technology device', and 'assistive device' have been mainly used.

The purpose of this study was to compare AAC service delivery system between Korea and U.S.A for appling effective 'AAC service delivery system. This delivery system complement the missing part in system of the current method and narrow blind area for system. The result of this research, increase suppling item of assistive communication device in public benefit and provide delivery system through construct infrastructure by assistive technology center, special education support center, developmental disorder support center, speech therapy center in each local area. Furthermore, assistive technology-related institute and academy develope training programs for human resources to delivery AAC service.

The present report aims to examine the assistive technology(AT) service operating system for the Disabled in Sweden, and will give it to NHIS(National Health Insurance Service) to manage of policy for AT service operating system. The user of AT is around 10% of the Disabled in Sweden which is introduced the AT service system to support the independence for the Disabled. To provide AT service, the role of the Ministry of Health(planning and regulation, controling Handisam and Hi as a subsidiary), County councils(providing and follow up medical AT service, operating AT service center) and Municipalities(providing general AT service) in Sweden is decentralized strictly. Specially, all the AT device is lent freely and recycled suitably for persons with Disabilities, moreover nurses, physical therapist and occupational therapist has a qualification for prescription of AT device . This finding will be the basis to improve Assistive Technology Operating System in Korea.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the status of assistive technology delivery system and to analyze issues on legislating assistive technology act in Korea. Many laws in different departments include regulations of providing assistive technology devices, and their range and types in various delivery entities tend to expand. However, a nationwide assistive technology delivery system for all individuals with disabilities that considers balanced expenditure among departments is not established yet. Two laws proposed to solve the situation were introduced and discussed as the following. First of all, the terminology of assistive technology and various products supported by different laws and departments should be aggregated and connected. Secondly, a nationwide assistive technology delivery system for all individuals with disabilities are to be established, regardless of departments or laws for certain purposes. Thirdly, a quality control system of all assistive technology products including user monitoring system should be regulated.

In this study, we present how our assistive technology service worked in the public funds delivery system through the center of professional assistive technology in Gwangju. In detail, among total 253 applicants for assistive device support business for disabled, 28 clients and 28 clients failed to get the support because of self-withdrawl and insuitability, respectively. The left 225 clients finally got the chance to use the assistive device; especially, 28 clients will get the alternative device which was recommended through the assistive technology professionals. Therefore, this work is believed to be a good example of how mediation of professionals in assistive technology center leads to the efficient use of public funds.

The Comprehensive Assistive Technology services delivery was devised to describe the full social and engineering context of assistive technology devices, systems, applications, and provision. It is based on a detailed decomposition of the four attributes: Person, Context, Activities, and Assistive Technology. The paper commences will a brief discussion of the different representations of the services delivery, including rental of devices, modification of manufacture goods and customized production and the use of engineering to supplement some elements of the description. The main contribution of the paper is the presentation of two case studies of different applications of the assistive technology services. These are the identification of accessibility barriers, the analysis and synthesis of assistive technology systems and the provision of a framework for identitying end-user requirements, providing assistive technology and assessing the associated outcomes. This case study involves the presentation of the concept of a personal assistive technology profile.
