This research aims to classify wetland types and evaluate functions of a dam lake. The case study area is Boryung lake in Boryung City. In this study was carried out based upon field surveys, drawing maps and publication, and modified-RAM which can evaluate the general functions and conservation values of wetlands. Eight functions of 2-12 variables each are analyzed for assessing the wetland functions. The analysis shows that several types of wetlands were identified, such as Palustrine/ Perennial/ Hydrophytes, Palustrine/ Perennial/ Openwater, Palustrine/ Seasonal/ Herbal, Palustrine/ Seasonal/ Shrub and Scrub, Palustrine/ Seasonal/ Hydrophye, and Riparian/ Seasonal/ Shrub in the Boryung lake. The average level of functions of the wetlands is very "HIGH", and it is recommended that prompt conservation measures should be taken.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs assessment and satisfaction level of family support services for preschoolers with disabilities. The subjects were 146 mothers and 138 teachers of 3- to 6-year- old preschool children with disabilities in integrated kindergartens in Daegu, Seoul, and Kyungnam. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, mothers needed information and financial support most. The level of the mother's needs was related to the type and degree of disabilities, child's sex, child's age, mother's educational level, and father's occupation. Second, the satisfaction level of mothers in the integrated kindergarten education programs was generally low. Third, mothers needed parental training of child's problem behavior, mother-child interactions program, and parental education of developing child's creativity.

This paper uses Monte Carlo technique, which is one of probabilistic methods of estimating the economical quantity of electric power generation in consideration of voltage stability in the aspect of power generation companies. In the power exchange system in Korea, when power generation companies participate in tenders for power generation capacity at the power exchange, they need to determine their power supply capacity considering the stability of electric power system. Thus, we purposed to propose an algorithm for estimating economical power generation capacity in theaspect of power generation companies, through which we can estimate the margin for voltage stability through P-V curve analysis by capacity according to the change of power generation capacity in a simulated system and to conduct Monte Carlo simulation in consideration of the margin

Ni(Fe)Al powders containing a homogeneous distribution of the in-situ formed AIN and $Al_2O_3$ dispersoids have been produced by mechanical alloying process in a controlled atmosphere using high energy attrition mill. The powders have been successfully consolidated by hot extrusion process. The phase information investigated by TEM and XRD analysis reveals that Fe can be soluble up to 20% to the NiAl phase ($\beta$) at room temperature after MA process. Subsequent thermomechanical treatment under specific condition has been tried to induce secondary recrystallization (SRx) to improve high temperature properties, however, the clear evidence of SRx was not obtained in this material. Mechanical properties in term of strength at room temperature as well as at high temperatures have been improved by the addition pf AIN, and the room temperature ductility has been shown to be improved after heat treatment, presumably due to the precipitation of second phase of $\alpha$ in this material.

In this study, it was performed damage assesment of small scale composite aircraft developing. This aircraft adopted the sandwich structure to skin of wing. This study aims to investigate the residual strength of sandwich composites with Nomex honeycomb core and carbon fiber face sheets after the open hole damage by the experimental investigation. The 4-point bending tests were used to find the bending strength, and the open hole was applied to introduce the simulated damage on the specimen. The bending strength test results after open hole was compared with the results of no damaged specimen test. The FEM analysis is assessed via an experimental 4-point bending test.

Re-consultation on Marine Environment Impact Assessment (MEIA) says that business operators are then licensed back from the disposition authorities undergoing a consultation process to change business plans. Marine Environment Management Act has provisions(Article 94) with respect to a case where the scale of business, the period of business, reflects the basic plan, including a plan to change a variety of reasons. But increasingly diverse types of businesses and projects which are the subject of MEIA, As it appears that the vulnerability issues and the problem of the re-consultation. In this study conducted an analysis of the literature review and comment on the re-consultation report four years. In addition, it presents a check to the problem through concrete examples related to the re-consultation and proposes improvement measures.

Assessment of root weight grade system for the numeral definition in Korea ginseng was tried by investigation of 13 boxes of the 15-root-grade of 4-year-old white ginseng as a model. In this case satisfaction to theoretical value was 58% in root weight and 50% in root number. The coefficient of variation (CV) was high (35%) for individual root weight in package. The CV of tap root weight 1 among package is low (7.1%) even though there was no significant correlation between tap root weight : and lateral root weight among roots. The mean percentage of tap root to root weight in each package ranged 61 to 74% with CV range of 16.5 to 33.2%. The CV was not much different between 1st and 2nd lateral root weight and the means was above 60%. Strict practice of numeral definition of root weight grade system will be prerequisite for chemical standardization of Korea ginseng.

IEC 60300 series, the international standards on reliability management system are newly developed and introduced rapidly worldwide. In order to meet this fast-changing situation, it is necessary to apply them to the Korean industries effectively. It includes the establishment of the infrastructure such as documentation of Korean Standards, introduction of test equipments and test manuals, accreditation of the certification body and training of the specialists etc. IEC 60300 is upgraded management system of the ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. In this regard, the Korean companies which was certified with the ISO 9000 or 14000 should endeavor to find new strategies and methods to be certified with ISO 60300. This paper introduces a quantitative method of estimating the level of the reliability management system by applying the MIR(Maturity Index on Reliability) technique. This enables the estimation of the operation level of the system and can upgrade the maturity level of it.
