Most of these cultural spaces are Western architecture which is completely unrelated to our traditional style. In Japan's colonial rule of Korea these Western formation flowed in and passed on by them. Therefore before the understanding of modem cultural space built in Japan's colonial rule of Korea, it's essential to study about the background of the western period in that time, architecture and trend of interior. Due to Great Depression and other reasons the economical modernism of architecture raised in this period. In this thesis, based on such background of period, cultural space has been divided into assembly, theatre and exhibition spaces. Those spaces were studied according to its expressional characteristics and brought to following conclusion from the analysis. The cultural spaces were created around 1930 due to an increase of demand when the modernism started to establish. Like other buildings cultural space expressed modernized elevation and space formation with ferroconcrete building. However until Japan's colonial period the cultural areas were not used for public but for Japanese authority class's social gatherings only. Consequently, unlike other buildings the classical elements that could express these characters were more used in cultural spaces especially in theater and exhibition areas. This distinctiveness didn't appear separately but according to type of rooms in one space. Once more, place like assembly space was expressed with modernism, special or recreation rooms where people pursue a comfort were expressed with decorative style. Also a special theater which was used for only one person was generally expressed with western style to represent the stem character such as power.
Extraction of fabrication documents is very important because it provides information related to tasks of fabrication and construction. Therefore, in the case of a prefabricated member such as a steel structure, it is necessary to improve the productivity of fabrication documents through 3D BIM. However, research and evidence data on direct comparison analysis of 3D BIM-based documents extraction versus 2D CAD-based documents extraction are hard to find. Thus, this study focuses on productivity analysis of 3D BIM based fabrication documents extraction. In this study, the productivity data of fabrication documents extraction for module construction of EPC project was analyzed. For the productivity analysis, a case study on the fabrication documents of Module A (1,965 sheets) and Module B (1,216 sheets) was conducted. Fabrication documents for each module include general arrangement drawing, assembly drawing, single part drawing and single plate drawing. Comparison of 2D CAD based fabrication documents extraction and 3D BIM based fabrication documents extraction, the productivity for the entire work was improved from 17 hours to 16 hours for Module A and 12 hours to 7 hours for Module B. Especially, the productivity of the assembly drawings, which occupies a large part of the fabrication documents, was improved by about 48.75% from the total time required from 281 hours to 144 hours.
Reinforcing bars, a major component of the pre-fab structure, adheres to the existing on-site assembly method and attempts to develop and commercialize the technology of the pre-assembly method, but the effect is insignificant. Welded Wire / Bar Mat (WBM) has various advantages such as commercialization of rebar through machine manufacturing to improve workability, but it is different from the existing design and the construction method is different from the previous one. Therefore, to maximize the advantages of WBM and improve productivity, manufacturing, transportation, and construction from the design stage should be considered based on BIM from the initial design stage. In this paper, the concept of the design support system for the WBM was established based on the use of BIM in concrete reinforcement and the preliminary research on the WBM. WBM conversion design was performed for the existing prefabricated members, and based on this, the exchange format and system of the master prefabricated model with the WBM design data were set up. As a result of the pilot test, it was found that the traditional reinforcing bar information extracted from the master prefab model has transmitted 100% accurately. As for the WBM information, 100% of the information on the straight reinforcement was transmitted and represented, and the information on the bent reinforcement was found to have a 90% recall in the master BIM tool.

The MATS(Missile Assembly Test Set) is manufactured and used to check the function of the missile during the period of development for the guided missile system, and the requirements for power and communication are managed for equipment production. The MATS developer implements software according to the proposed communication standard to guarantee the reliability of the data that communicates with the guided missile. The test bed is built and self-performance evaluation is performed after implementation. And the verification process is performed using the standard equipment. The characteristics of periodic delay for data transmission must be reflected when building a test bed. This paper describes a test bed construction method for data processing with periodic delay. Also This paper compares and evaluates the performance by changing the previously designed algorithm.
The main paradigm of the Korean Public Administration has been the executive-centered one. Recently, with political democratization, the role of the National Assembly in public administration has been expected higher than that of the past. This study aims to introduce the legislative-centered public administration theory, which is an alternative perspective to the dominant executive-centered public administration theory. First, it reviews the discussions of the early thoughts of the legislative-centered public administration, such as Woodrow Wilson, Willoughby, Merriam, and presents Rosenbloom's comprehensive arguments. Second, it examines historical developments of building the legislative-centered public administration in the United States. Third, it analyzes institutional developments of the National Assembly in South Korea in terms of the legislative-centered public administration system. Finally, it suggests some implications of the legislative-centered public administration theory in the Korean Public Administration.

The assembly of modular construction requires a series of thoroughly-considered decisions for crane lifting including the crane model selection, crane location planning, and lift path planning. Traditionally, this decision-making process is empirical and time-consuming, requiring significant human inputs. Recently, research efforts have been dedicated to improving lift planning practices by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as automated data acquisition, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and computational algorithms. It has been demonstrated that these technologies have advanced lift planning to some degree. However, the advancements tend to be fragmented and isolated. There are two hurdles prevented a systematic improvement of lift planning practices. First, the lack of formalized lift planning workflow, outlining the procedure and necessary information. Secondly, there is also an absence of a shared information environment, enabling storages, updates and the distribution of information to stakeholders in a timely manner. Thus, this paper aims to overcome the hurdles. The study starts with a literature review in combination with document analysis, enabling the initial workflow and information flow. These were contextualised through a series of interviews with Australian practitioners in the crane-related industry, and systematically analysed and schematically validated through an expert panel. Findings included formalized workflow and corresponding information exchanges in a traditional lift planning practice via a Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The traditional practice is thus reviewed to identify opportunities for further enhancements. Finally, a BIM-based lift planning workflow is proposed, which integrates the scattered technologies (e.g. BIM and computational algorithms) with the aim of supporting lift planning automation. The resulting framework is setting out procedures that need to be developed and the potential obstacles towards automated lift planning are identified.

Off-Site Construction (OSC) is a new construction method based on factory production. OSC (Off-Site Construction) is a new construction method based on factory production. Researches such as OSC-related design and production standardization, transport methods are actively conducted in the U.S., UK and other parts of the world as this new method has an edge over existing methods in terms of productivity, economy and quality. As the emergence of this new area requires reasonable management, an analysis of the scope of construction project management is required accordingly. Therefore, this research analyzed the study trends and relationships at the CM/PM range's "Operation level" to identify areas of study, relationship between studies and deficiencies in current research. This study carried out a comprehensive literature review of the OSC (CM/PM) research by analyzing 94 papers in Operation level as of September 3, 2018, and the analysis results are as follows. (1) Working stage level researches have been increasing rapidly since 2006. (2) Non-volumetric type is contributing most significantly at work stage level. In the building sector, it has been identified that problems such as residential: living, quality issues, non-residential: economic difficulties, factory: productivity problems have been addressed. (4) The Non-volumetric pre-assembly type dealt with the economic feasibility of residential and non-residential buildings, whereas the modular type was studied in regards to assembly quality. (5) From 2006, project management areas (e.g., quality, human resources, risks) have been expanded. It is expected that this research will help find new areas of research for OSC. If the analysis is carried out to the level of the industrial, corporate and project phases in the future, it is deemed that the overall research flow and area of the OSC industry can be identified.

Construction that over 70% of the structure consists of concrete gets bigger and higher gradually and the demand of that is increasing as well. However, it's not easy to supply young and skilled persons on construction site because of social avoidance phenomena about 3D occupation, so it causes serious problems like aging and shortage of technicians. To solve the problems, executives related to the construction field make a management effort in various ways such as construction period shortening, labor productivity improvement and good quality but recently, they have an increasing interest in the necessity of the modularization of the high-rise building and the automation of the engineering development for the strengthening of international competitive power as more active and long-term alternatives. Therefore, this study is to propose the roadmap in order to make lots of efforts in developing construction technologies of high-rise buildings by performing a foundation study, the strategy for 4-step research development, on modularized construction system of concrete structure of high-rise buildings through domestic and foreign preceding research analyses associated with optimal design modularization technique, module factory automation and assembly automation of modularized objects.

This study suggests the design and assembly drawing of the prefabricated precast concrete arch ammo magazines using the numerical analysis as well as the explosion verification test. The protective capacity of the proposed magazines is identified with the maximum support rotation angles measured by explosion verification tests according to the U.S. Unified Facility Criteria 3-340-02. Using numerical analysis, it is examined that oval-type members are better than the semi-circle ones in terms of protective capacity. Based on this numerical results, the design and assemble drawing for the prefabricated precast concrete arch ammo magazine are developed. It is identified that the structure constructed by invented design and assembly drawing has enough protective capacity against blast pressure caused by 133.75kg TNT explosion. The detonation point cannot be open due to the military security. In sum, it could be concluded that the ammo magazine proposed in this study has reliable protective capacity with enough redundancy. The redundancy means that there are more economic design approach with reducing the curved wall thickness.

Considerable number of offshore platforms have been built in Korean shipyards ever since 1976. Unlike for the cases of building ships, however, negligible efforts have been made to establish planning methodology for building onshore platforms. Severe congestion has been shown in the processes of assemblying modules of platforms. The module which is the upper part of a platform is a steel structure accommodating various types of outfittings and machinaries. The production planned without proper consideration on allocating work loads by trade used to show severe interferences among trades of workers and resulted in delayed completion. In this paper, a method of planning module assembly in consideration of leveling work loads by trade is discussed. A system of planning has been formulated and tested on a exampled case of producing a mix of 72 modules. The test showed a possibility of saving 31% of manpower and trimming 11% of through put time.
