  • In this paper we investigate the Artinianness of certain local cohomology modules $H^i_I(N)$ where N is a minimax module over a commutative Noetherian ring R and I is an ideal of R. Also, we characterize the set of attached prime ideals of $H^n_I(N)$, where n is the dimension of N.

  • Let R be a ring with identity 1, I(R) be the set of all idempotents in R and G be the group of all units of R. In this paper, we show that for any semiperfect ring R in which 2 = 1+1 is a unit, I(R) is closed under multiplication if and only if R is a direct sum of local rings if and only if the set of all minimal idempotents in R is closed under multiplication and eGe is contained in the group of units of eRe. In particular, for a left Artinian ring in which 2 is a unit, R is a direct sum of local rings if and only if the set of all minimal idempotents in R is closed under multiplication.

  • Let $R ={\oplus}_{n{\in}Z}R_n$ be a graded commutative Noetherian ring and let I be a graded ideal of R and J be an arbitrary ideal. It is shown that the i-th generalized local cohomology module of graded module M with respect to the (I, J), is graded. Also, the asymptotic behaviour of the homogeneous components of $H^i_{I,J}(M)$ is investigated for some i's with a specified property.

  • Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring and I an ideal of R. In this paper, we study colocalization of generalized local homology modules. We intend to establish a dual case of local-global principle for the finiteness of generalized local cohomology modules. Let M be a finitely generated R-module and N a representable R-module. We introduce the notions of the representation dimension rI(M, N) and artinianness dimension aI(M, N) of M, N with respect to I by rI(M, N) = inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi(M, N) is not representable} and aI(M, N) = inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi(M, N) is not artinian} and we show that aI(M, N) = rI(M, N) = inf{rIR𝔭 (M𝔭,𝔭N) : 𝔭 ∈ Spec(R)} ≥ inf{aIR𝔭 (M𝔭,𝔭N) : 𝔭 ∈ Spec(R)}. Also, in the case where R is semi-local and N a semi discrete linearly compact R-module such that N/∩t>0ItN is artinian we prove that inf{i : HIi(M, N) is not minimax}=inf{rIR𝔭 (M𝔭,𝔭N) : 𝔭 ∈ Spec(R)\Max(R)}.

  • Let I be an ideal of Noetherian local ring (R, m) and M an artinian R-module. In this paper, we study colocalization of local homology modules. In fact we give Colocal-global Principle for the artinianness and minimaxness of local homology modules, which is a dual case of Local-global Principle for the finiteness of local cohomology modules. We define the representation dimension rI (M) of M and the artinianness dimension aI (M) of M relative to I by rI (M) = inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not representable}, and aI (M) = inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not artinian} and we will prove that i) aI (M) = rI (M) = inf{rIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R)} ≥ inf{aIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R)}, ii) inf{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not minimax} = inf{rIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R) ∖ {𝔪}}. Also, we define the upper representation dimension RI (M) of M relative to I by RI (M) = sup{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not representable}, and we will show that i) sup{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) ≠ 0} = sup{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not artinian} = sup{RIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R)}, ii) sup{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not finitely generated} = sup{i ∈ ℕ0 : HIi (M) is not minimax} = sup{RIR𝖕 (𝖕M) : 𝖕 ∈ Spec(R) ∖ {𝔪}}.

  • Let R be a ring with identity, X be the set of all nonzero, nonunits of R and G be the group of all units of R. A ring R is called unit-duo ring if $[x]_{\ell}=[x]_r$ for all $x{\in}X$ where $[x]_{\ell}=\{ux{\mid}u{\in}G\}$ (resp. $[x]_r=\{xu{\mid}u{\in}G\}$) which are equivalence classes on X. It is shown that for a semisimple unit-duo ring R (for example, a strongly regular ring), there exist a finite number of equivalence classes on X if and only if R is artinian. By considering the zero divisor graph (denoted ${\tilde{\Gamma}}(R)$) determined by equivalence classes of zero divisors of a unit-duo ring R, it is shown that for a unit-duo ring R such that ${\tilde{\Gamma}}(R)$ is a finite graph, R is local if and only if diam(${\tilde{\Gamma}}(R)$) = 2.

  • Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, 𝔞 an ideal of R, M an arbitrary R-module and X a finite R-module. We prove a characterization for Hi𝔞(M) and Hi𝔞(X, M) to be 𝔞-weakly cofinite for all i, whenever one of the following cases holds: (a) ara(𝔞) ≤ 1, (b) dim R/𝔞 ≤ 1 or (c) dim R ≤ 2. We also prove that, if M is a weakly Laskerian R-module, then Hi𝔞(X, M) is 𝔞-weakly cofinite for all i, whenever dim X ≤ 2 or dim M ≤ 2 (resp. (R, m) a local ring and dim X ≤ 3 or dim M ≤ 3). Let d = dim M < ∞, we prove an equivalent condition for top local cohomology module Hd𝔞(M) to be weakly Artinian.

  • Let a be an ideal of a commutative Noetherian ring R, M a finitely generated R-module and N a weakly Laskerian R-module. We show that if N has finite dimension d, then $Ass_R(H^d_a(N))$ consists of finitely many maximal ideals of R. Also, we find the least integer i, such that $H^i_a$(M, N) is not consisting of finitely many maximal ideals of R.

  • All modules considered in this note are over associative commutative rings with an identity element. We show that a ${\omega}$-local module M is Rad-supplemented if and only if M/P(M) is a local module, where P(M) is the sum of all radical submodules of M. We prove that ${\omega}$-local nonsmall submodules of a cyclic Rad-supplemented module are again Rad-supplemented. It is shown that commutative Noetherian rings over which every w-local Rad-supplemented module is supplemented are Artinian. We also prove that if a finitely generated Rad-supplemented module is cyclic or multiplication, then it is amply Rad-supplemented. We conclude the paper with a characterization of finitely generated amply Rad-supplemented left modules over any ring (not necessarily commutative).

  • Let A be a commutative ring and M an Artinian .A-module. Let $\sigma$ be a torsion radical functor and (T, F) it's corresponding partition of Spec(A) In [1] the concept of Cohen-Macauly modules was generalized . In this paper we shall define $\sigma$-co-Cohen-Macaulay (abbr. $\sigma$-co-CM). Indeed this is one of the aims of this paper, we obtain some satisfactory properties of such modules. An-other aim of this paper is to generalize the concept of cograde by using the left derived functor $U^{\alpha}$$_{I}$(-) of the $\alpha$-adic completion functor, where a is contained in Jacobson radical of A.A.
