Reuse of Holdfasts in Hizikia Cultivation (양식 톳 포복지의 재활용에 관한 연구)

  • In theprevious Hizikia cultivation, holdfasts were threw into the sea after harvesting in May; the young thalli(5$\~$10cm in length) of Hizikia are annually collected from natural bed by seed collectors for the cultivation, resulting in a ruined natural populations. Therfore, the reuse method of holdfasts by regeneration capability of Hizikia fusiformis, was investigated. The effects of emergence on the growth of regenerated thalli from holdfasts over 6 months of outdoor culture from May to November, 1995. The vegetative growth from the holdfasts was good under the emergence of 3hrs/day on the air than 0, 1 and 2hr/day. The regeneration of holdfasts was determined by measuring total length, number of stipe and weight. The growth was facilitated under the exposure condition of 1$\~$3 hrs/day on the air. Outdoor cultivation for the comparsion of to artifical natural seeds were conducted from December 1995 to May 1996. There was no significant differences(0.05< P) between the two kinds of seeds. Therefore, artificial seed maybe used as a replacement for the natural seed in Hizikia cultivation. From the results, an useful method was established to obtain young fronds for the cultivation using the reuse method of holdfast, to conserve the natural population of Hizikia.

Establishment of artifical cultivation technique of Pleurotus ostreatus using an onion net (양파망을 이용한 느타리버섯(Pleurotus ostreatus) 재배기술)

  • This was performed to improve the working conditions of oyster mushroom cultivation on bed using rice straw of which binding and cutting procedure need a lot of time. There was a little difference in physiochemical components between rice straw and cotton waste C/N ration of cotten waste was, however, similar to rice straw as 84-85. If is feasible to use as substrate material. The average yield of a net was 1450g in six frustration harvest, when the size of an onion net was $35{\times}30cm$, mixture ratio of rice straw to cotton waste was 40:60(V/V). Cultivation method using an onion net saved 3 days for preparation, 4 hours for inoculation compared to normal bed cultivation. This method was analysed to give 5% economical benefit.

Fruitbody Formation of Cordyceps militaris in Allomyrina dichotoma Linnaeus (굼벵이(Allomyrina dichotoma Linnaeus)에서의 번데기동충하초(Cordyceps militaris) 자실체 유도)

  • Three strains(CHO-7208, CHO-7845, CHO-7846) of the Cordyceps were used for mass production by artifical cultivation with Allomyrina dichotoma larva. The mycelium length of Cordyceps mititaris on PDA was grown to 25 ${\pm}$ 2mm(CHO-7208) and 26${\pm}$ 21mm(CHO-7845) and 16 ${\pm}$ 2mm (CHO-7846) for 13days cultivation. The larva of Allomyrina dichotoma reared with starch, wheat flour and rice. The best rear material were starch. The formation of fruitbody on media were possible with CHO-7208 and CHO-7846. The fruithbody length of CHO-7208 on A.dichotoma media were 51 ${\pm}$5mm for 27 days culture. And then fruitbody length of CHO-7846 on same media were 56${\pm}$ 5mm for 27 days culture. The larva of A.dichotoma media was excellent fruitbody formation of C. mititaris.

Studies on Mycelial Growth and Artificial Cultivation of Pleurotus eryngii (큰느타리버섯(Pleurotus eryngii)의 균사배양 및 인공재배에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the optimal mycelial growth and an artificial cultivation conditions of Pleurotus eryngii. The optimal medium for the mycelial growth and density was MYPA medium. The optimal temperature and pH for the mycelial growth were $25^{\circ}C$ and 6.0, respectively. The modified optimal medium composition were obtained to be soluble starch 3%(w/v), malt extract 0.25%(w/v), yeast extract 0.25%(w/v) and $CaCl_2{\cdot}2H_2O$ 0.05% (w/v). From the results of experiment on the nutritional requirements, the modified optimal medium was higher than MYP medium in mycelial production and growth yield (Yx/s) of Pleurotus eryngii. The optimal sawdust species of solid culture for the mycelial growth and density was Quercus spp. The optimal concentration of additives (rice bran and wheat bran) and moisture content for the mycelial growth were about 30%(v/v) and 70%(v/v), respectively. On the other hand, the optimal concentration of additives for the production of fruiting body was 20%(v/v) of rice bran.

  • The great sudenn change of circle of dental laboratory technology brought mary discord between the new growing environmental group and the old group, In order to know the satisfactory degree of dental laboratory heads about all dental College, This Study was conducted for 49 detal technicians who graduated from junior laboratory heads in Seoul and Kyoung Gi area. The results are abtained as follow- 1. By age The degree of Satisfaction of items about all graduate dental technician were "41$\sim$45 age" group 26.53%), "46$\sim$50 age" group 22.45%, "36$\sim$40 age" group 18.36%, "31$\sim$35 age" group 12.24%, "51$\sim$55 age" group and "56$\sim$60 age" group 8.16% 60$\sim$age group 4.08% in order. 2. By Job Career. The Highest degree item out of Satisfaction about all graduated dental dental technician was 21$\sim$25 years group 28.5%, 16$\sim$20 years 20.4%, 11$\sim$15 years group 12.24%, 26$\sim$20%, 6$\sim$10 years group 4.08%, below 5 years group 2.04% in order. 3. By managing term of respondent's dental laboratory. The Satisfactory degree of items about all gradate technician were 7$\sim$10 years group 36.73% over 15 years group 22.45%, 11$\sim$14 years group 20.41%, 3$\sim$6 years group 14.29% below 2 years group 6.12% in order 4.
