Nursing, a behavior of caring, means a connection of patients and clients has done through the caring of clients. Nurses are always with patients. In fact, caring is very important and the core of nursing, the true meaning of caring was embedded in our custom and consciousness before the approach of academic research. As a result, the existence of caring has not seen and revealed. Therefore, there is a need to study and confirm that caring has been placed in nursing and, nurses are doing caring in practice. The purpose of this study is to present the basis of nursing theory and practice through careful analysis of presence being, an aspect of caring. The presence of nurse shows a personal and healing relationship between nurses and patients on the basis of the respect for the humanity, Also, the role of nurses is to help a patient to integrate one's physical, mental and spritual aspects. Thanks to role of nurse, the pratical nursing has the characteristic of art and becomes more aesthetic and artistic. As we have seen above, we define 'presence' as 'being there' and 'being with' a patient for the purpose of meeting the health care needs. The attributes for which presence would be most appropriate would include the following : (1) being with and being together (2) take attention (3) mutual openness (4) experience an empathy (5) have an intention (6) therapeutic interaction process A caring situation as a necessary condition must be presupposed and the factors in that situation are the nurse's intense attention to the patient and a humanistic philosophy of the institutions of the patient. In any nursing intervention skill, there is listening, touching, giving hope, reassurancing, comforting and so on ; as a result, some positive effects can be expected between nurse and patient.
Jeol-sik, (festive seasons every 15 days based on sun cycle), refers to both Korean Traditional Festival food(jeol-sik), intertwined between months, and in-season meals(si-jeol-sik) in which the ingredients used are produced in each and one of the four season. Si-jeol-sik is a kind of recommendatory food, which is combined to seasonal changes. I found that ingredients in Si-jeol-sik of spring are helpful for strengthening one's life force. Moreover, the ingredients also reflects seasonal changes. The main ingredient of Si-jeol-sik in January(in lunar year) is rice. Rice is good for upgrading one's stomach qi(energy). Rice continues to be used in February. In addition, some greens are included in February Si-jeol-sik as to help defecation. In March, the ingredients become diverse and abundant. The main concern in the ingredients found in March is not limited to stomach qi. These changes of ingredients are in line with the concept of 'health maintenance', which is written in Huangdi Neijing. The writing teaches the wisdom of adaptation to nature. Si-jeol-sik's basic idea is maybe giving people some food, which includes useful elements to help them survive through a season or the next season. They can be also explained properly by the help of five flavours theory. According to Huangdi Neijing liver is main organ of spring. So liver is more important than other organs in spring. And the most efficient way for liver is supplying sweet or sour food. Interestingly, there are many sweet elements in Si-jeol-sik of spring.

Today, a computational thinking course is being introduced in elementary, secondary and higher education curriculums. It is important to encourage a creative talent built on convergence of computational thinking and various major fields. However, proper analysis and evaluation of computational thinking assessment tools in higher education are currently not sufficient. In this study, we developed a rubric to evaluate computational thinking skills in university class from two perspectives: conceptual learning and practical programming training. Moreover, learning achievement and relevance between theory and practice were assessed. The proposed rubric is based on Computational Thinking Practices for assessing the higher education curriculum, and it is defined as a two-level structure which consists of four categories and eight items. The proposed rubric has been applied to a liberal art class in university, and the results were discussed to make future improvements.
In the turn of the twentieth century, Vienna emerged as a great cultural centre that stood at the forefront of developments in music, psychology, and the natural sciences. Equally influential, and still tremendously popular today, are the designs of the Wiener $Werkst{\ddot{a}}tte$ a group that was at the heart of the city's cultural scene and whose collaborators included such luminaries as the architect Josef Hoffman and the designer Koloman Moser under the slogan of Gesamtkunstwerk. The term "Gesamtkunstwerk" was introduced in the romantic period. It describes the desire for and practice of combining various art forms into a whole, such as performances that combine text, visual arts, various design and architecture. Richard Wagner was one of the early theorists of the concept, inspiring many modernist artists. As a co-founder of the Wiener $Werkst{\ddot{a}}tte$, Josef Hoffmann had a decisive influence on modern Viennese architecture and Interior design on the basis of the concept of Gesamtkunstwerk. In this view point, this study is to analyze about the generative background and design characteristics of gesamtkunstwerk advocated Wiener $Werkst{\ddot{a}}tte$. Josef Hoffmann was by all accounts a very successful architect and Interior designer in Vienna. His influence would undoubtedly have been felt simply because of his talent and energy. His special ability to range across multiple domains, coupled with a willingness to collaborate with other artists has created a synthesis and synergy that is compelling to this day.

This study aims to review the research trends concerning environmental psychology. The scope of review is limited to the papers that dealt with theoretical and case-directed investigation research about the relationship between socio-physical environments and human beings. The relationship has been investigated by diverse human reactions such as cognitive, emotional, analytical, behavioral, and comprehensive. 219 papers were reviewed in two steps. In the first step, the ratio of the papers in the field of environmental psychology to the total papers published in the Journal from 1973 to 2004 was analyzed. Second, all the 219 papers were classified by such three criteria as the type of the paper(theoretical, review, case investigation), the methodology taken, and the main theme of the paper. The main findings from the review are summarized as follows; 1. Out of the 219 papers, the number of the theoretical papers was 4 (1.8%), whereas the number of the case investigation papers was 185 (84.5%). 2. Out of the 30 review papers, the main methodology used was simple introduction (15 papers, 50%) and the main theme was research methodology (36%), whereas analytic comparison was used only in 10 papers (33%) and theory review was only found in 6 papers (20%). 3. Out of the 185 case investigation papers, experimental method was found in 34 papers (18%), whereas 99 papers used correlational method (54%). Based on the findings, it was suggested that both theoretical and case-directed research should be performed in order to enhance the state of art in environmental psychology. Theoretical research as a framework to understand the empirical findings are as important as the case-investigation research peformed by scientific experimental method.
This study is to implement a model of CPC-mentoring program based on the mentoring theory and research environment analysis as well as to present the operation case of teaching and learning in colleges. Major research results should use the practical research methods utilizing the statistical program in order to verify the effectiveness of the program of CPC-mentoring program by comparing the before with the after of running the CPC-mentoring program of the research objects, comparison group (61 people) and experiment group (33 people). After running the CPC-mentoring program, whether there was a certification's acquisition or not of the comparison group and the experiment group, a statistically significant difference between the comparison group 34.3% (21) and the experiment group 72.7% (24), (p<0.05) was shown. The goal of the students participating in the CPC-mentoring program was to help one another in order to obtain certification. moreover, by engaging in mutually developing human relationship activities thru various methods, such as adaptation of college life, development of sociality, graduation, etc., good cooperative relationships with one another as well as further development of the relationship was formed. CPC-mentoring program is neither doing only people that want nor being effective for people only that want. A successful matching will naturally lead to all success since mentoring is human relationships is the misunderstanding. The role of a mentoring coordinator(professor) for the operation of a successful CPC-mentoring program and for the application method of detailed CPC-mentoring program was set. In addition, by considering the connectivity with the counseling guidance (shared and individual guidance) of students, which is the characterization direction of technical department of the college, it is expected to make a positive contribution if utilized in a multilateral manner.
Due to multidisciplinary characteristic of the Interior Design field, it has developed into complex interdisciplinary field. Therefore Interior Design field has grown and established its major trends dependent upon other related field of study. With this perspective in mind, esthetics on Interior Design has to be treated in similar manner. In modem architects or artists have defined the terminology 'object' theoretical principle where by unable to distinguish between 'object's type' and 'objects', Presently, the term 'object' became a trend word. In order to confront misconception of the idea of 'Objectification', some people definition as reflection of this complex society. In this paper, it will establish a solid groundwork for a discussion on Objectification. The initial approach will deal with Le Corbusier and esthetics, which is the center of argument. By reviewing theoretical background of the related modern art, the paper discusses about the relationship between Le Corbusier and esthetics. Subsequently, the discussion about the criterions necessary to define object is provided. This paper only suggests a methodology of analyzing a trend in Interior Design. The condition to define Objectification in Interior Design, which is a result of the reviewing process on esthetics, can be concluded as 'modeling form(transformation of morphological meaning with change wrought by causing a visual reaction)', 'mixtures and modification of materials(transformation and spontaneity through mixing materials)' and 'elements greatly influence space' of the Interior Design.
Since the emergence of a philosophical theory called deconstructivism, intertextuality has been promote the hybrid phenomenon amongst other jenres in arts. Various research efforts in intertextuality, however, have been more focused on the fields of literature and philosophy, rather than of architecture. This study aims to clarify the intertextuality between architectural design, music and literature as the following analysis of James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake, John Cage's music and Bernard Tschumi's early works. Joyce's Garden of Bernard Tschumi's project and some of John Cage's music works had borrowed from Finnegan's Wake, a novel James Joyce. Hence, the commonality between Bernard Tschumi and John Cage can naturally be related through Finnegan's Wake. Also, Finnegan's Wake had been contextualized by Jacques Derrida before it was used as a mediation by Bernard Tschumi. In this viewpoint, the paper will be able to identify the possibility of intertextuality between musical text and architectural one with a medium of literature. Major findings of the study are as follows: First, Finnegan's Wake played a guiding role to deconstruct the existing formalism and to construct a new concept in John Cage's music and Bernard Tschumi's architecture. Second, John Cage's music and Bernard Tschumi's works are included commonness with indeterminacy concepts. Third, the both artists share a drawing concept as found in John Cage's graphic notation of the 1950s and Bernard Tschumi's early architecture where grids, dots, and curves are used in common. As s result, intertextuality could be possible to make sure between others. Like this interdisciplinary research of relationships among different fields will be of great help in constructing creative design methods in architecture. With continuous research attempts, it is hopeful to intertextualize architectural texts with related art fields.
Interior design education has been developed rapidly since the discipline established in Korea in 1980s but unfortunately the development was without any progressive transition until 1990's. When Korean Institute of Interior Design/KIID inaugurated in 1992, interior design education and related research activities began to be intensified. Despite its effort, there were still confusion about the discipline as there were many similar discipline tracks (architecture, design, fine art, & home economic, etc.) each having an own definition of interior design and introducing different aspects of educating the subject. Education program for interior design still not sufficiently supporting the needs of today's rapidly changing industry nor to prepare the diverse needs of the client. In order for interior design major to be effective in the future and fulfill the needs of current industry development within our society, re-evaluation of our current interior design educational programs in Korea is important. This study will be the beginning of a research series. As the first part of the research series, this particular study has been focused on reviewing of current status of interior design majors in the nation and its current condition. While making suggestion for the changes in curriculum, the following points will have to be considered as basic principle. First, understanding the duality of technology and design to accommodate the contents of design discipline. Second, understanding the need of practice and theory combined for practical education. And lastly, considering ways to adopt the human experience in order to develop creativity in oneself. The focus of this research is only on the interior design discipline, and research method as the following; first, analyze current status by reviewing admission data for 2010. Second, process a survey regarding the interior design education and practice-related issues in admissions and collect opinions from educators and professional designers in the field. Thirdly, with reference to previous studies, suggestions will be made for the discipline to be effective in the field. As mentioned earlier, this study series will continue and develop to suggest improvement in interior design program as well as to provide curriculums for students get ready for the industry with more up-to-date knowledges and creativities.
Men study the nature in two ways. Scientists and mathematicians inquire a branch of those two ways. Mathematical formulations are the tools and the expressions of their nature. Meanwhile, the other branch, the art, alms for different inquiry. Instead of formulating the nature, the artists create their masterpieces from their ultimate source, the Mother Nature. For thousands of years these two branches have grown together, influencing each others work. Some mathematicians find that formulation, are not enough to fully express the beauty of nature. It is believed that such a simple expression, formula, easily omits the careful details of nature. The nature is simply too chaotic to be shaped with a formula. Of those mathematicians, Mandelbrot, one of the first to realize this matter, introduced the world of fractal geometry. Fractals give new possibilities. It allows us not to limit ourselves to linear prospect, rather a whole new view of this chaotic beauty of the nature. A popular practice to understand fractals is in costume design. The artistic characteristic and organization mechanism is appalled to costumes. Meanwhile, another practice, rather aggressive, is using computer to create an image of fractals. This image is then used for motives to generate artistic expressions. Computer and paper ironing technique is used for fashion illustration in this research. The works were synthesized arid transformed from computer programs. To add more traditional painting touch to this work, Paper ironing technique was used. Since the of effect of this technique is so random, irregular, and unordered, it corresponds to fractal consideration. This thesis asserts an another prospect to fractal as a structural way of describing nature ailed fashion illustration, rather than restricting it to only mathematical theory.
