본 연구는 사이키델릭의 미적 특성을 모티브로 한 아트마스크를 제작함으로써 감각적이고 창의적인 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 선행연구와 전문서적, 예술작품 등을 중심으로 사이키 델릭의 개념 정의와 특성을 고찰하였다. 이론연구를 바탕으로 한 사이키델릭의 미적특성은 연구자의 작품 제작에 많이 사용되고 있는 착시성, 추상성, 유희성, 역동성으로 제한하여 살펴보았고, 이를 아트마스크 디자인에 접목하여 연구작품 4점을 제작하였다. 본 연구를 통해 형식이나 전통에 구애받지 않는 작품의 다양화를 시도함으로써 아트마스크의 무한한 창작을 가능하게 하고 현대적인 새로운 미로 승화 시킬 수 있었다. 또한 사이키델릭의 외적 특성과 함께 내적인 의미를 작품디자인에 표현함으로써 아트마스크에 대한 새로운 인식과 가치관의 성립을 가져오게 하였다. 향후 이와 같은 연구가 아트마스크 디자인 관련 후속 연구의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대해 보며 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 도움이 되길 바란다.

본 연구는 메이크업의 창의적 표현 영역으로서 주목받고 있는 아트 마스크에 네오 팝 아트를 접목하여 새로운 디자인 방향을 제안하는데 있다. 이론적 고찰을 통해 네오 팝의 특성을 분석한 후, 일본의 팝 아티스트인 무라카미 다카시의 작품을 모티브로 각 특성에 따라 총 4작품의 아트 마스크를 제작하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 네오팝은 아트 마스크의 소재로 활용하기에 충분했다. 둘째, 네오 팝의 특성을 적용한 아트 마스크의 새로운 디자인을 제안할 수 있었다. 셋째, 미술과 메이크업의 융합을 통해 다양한 분야 간의 융합 가능성을 알 수 있었다. 향후 다양한 분야와의 융합을 통한 아트 마스크의 연구가 활발히 이루어지기를 바라며 본 연구가 아트 마스크 디자인 개발의 기초자료로 활용되기를 바란다.

본 연구는 아브젝시옹 개념의 특성을 모티브로 한 아트마스크를 제작함으로써 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 방향성을 제시하고 사람들의 라이프케어에 도움이 되고자 한다. 선행연구와 전문서적, 예술작품 등을 중심으로 아브젝트와 아브젝시옹의 개념 정의와 특성을 고찰하였다. 이론연구를 바탕으로 한 아브젝 시옹의 특성은 이상적 미의 기준 해체, 파편화된 신체표현, 병들고 소외된 신체표현, 부패한 시체와 해골로 죽음을 표현하는 것이다. 본 연구자는 추하고 혐오스러운 아브젝트가 유발하는 매혹적인 아브젝시옹을 디자인적 요소에 접목하여 연구 작품 6점을 제작하였다. 본 작품은 얼굴 형태의 각 부분을 절단과 해체로 파편화 시키고, 그로테스크한 변형을 주어 보는 이로 하여금 아브젝시옹을 느끼게 하였다. 연구 작품을 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아브젝시옹 특성을 응용한 작품은 사람들에게 아브젝시옹을 느끼게 함으로써 정신적인 스트레스와 상처에 긍정적인 승화작용을 유도하여 정신적인 스트레스 해소와 상처 치유에 도움을 주는 도구로 사용되었다. 둘째, 아브젝시옹 특성을 바탕으로 작품을 제작함으로서 아트마스크 디자인 구상의 범위가 확대되고, 디자인 발상을 새롭게 구축하는 계기가 되었다. 셋째, 아브젝시옹 특성을 응용한 모티브를 아트마스크 디자인에 적용한 결과 다양한 오브제 사용으로 창의적인 디자인 표현이 가능하였고, 재료 사용에 다양성을 확보하였다. 향후 이와 같은 연구가 아트마스크 디자인 관련 후속연구의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대해 보며 아트마스크 디자인 개발에 도움이 되길 바란다.

본 연구는 아르누보의 특성을 활용한 아트 마스크 디자인 제안이다. 선행연구를 바탕으로 아르누보의 특성을 곡선적 표현, 여성적 표현, 자연주의적 표현, 반복적 표현으로 분류하였으며 각 특성에 따라 아르누보의 대표화가 구스타프 클림트의 작품을 4점 선정하였다. 선정된 작품을 모티브로 아트 마스크에 리디자인하였으며 작품 제작에 따른 결과로는 첫째, 아르누보의 특성을 아트 마스크에 디자인 할 수 있는 가능성과 방법론을 모색하였다. 둘째, 아트 마스크에 표현될 수 있는 범위와 방식을 넓혀 다양한 소재에 따른 접근성을 높였다. 셋째, 아트 마스크와 미술사조의 융합은 아트 마스크의 작업 조건에 충분했다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 향후 아트 마스크에 표현될 수 있는 소재가 무궁무진해지길 바라며 메이크업 분야로서 아트 마스크의 위상이 더욱 높아지길 기대해본다.

현대의 아트메이크업은 미를 목적으로 하는 인간의 원초적 욕망이나 욕구의 논리적 사고에서 벗어나 개성화 차별화의 추세에 따라 폭넓게 전개되어지고 있으며 고객의 니즈(needs)에 맞게 다양하게 융합 접목되어지고 있다. 20세기 미술사조의 중심이 되는 입체주의는 아트메이크업을 표현하는데 있어 창의성을 기반으로 하는 좋은 소재가 된다. 이에 본 연구는 입체주의 표현기법을 아트메이크업에 융합시켜 아트마스크에 제시함으로써 새로운 디자인 발상과 표현영역을 창출해내는 데 있다. 연구방법은 선행연구와 인터넷 자료, 전문서적 등을 토대로 입체주의와 아트메이크업에 대한 고찰 후, 입체주의 표현기법을 크게 복수시점, 형태의 분할, 콜라주로 나누어 피카소의 작품을 모티브로 아트마스크에 융합 디자인한다. 이러한 연구 결과, 입체주의 표현기법이 아트메이크업에도 적용 가능하게 나타났으며 창의적인 아트메이크업 융합 디자인을 도출해내어 제시할 수 있었다. 향후 이에 따른 연구가 활발히 이루어지기를 기대해보며 본 연구가 아트메이크업 디자인 개발에 도움이 되길 바란다.

The purpose of this study was to categorize the decorative characteristics of the Rococo Age, which displays the most glamorous and elegant decorative beauty, in architecture, interior decorations, paintings, and patterns, and to analyze these characteristics and graft them onto art masks in a modern way. Piece I is a mixed media piece that based its motif on the ceilings and pulpits of the German Vis Pilgrimage Church, which is representative architecture of the Rococo Age. It was glamorously produced using gold and cubic zirconia. Piece II is also a mixed media piece that borrowed its motif from the exterior and gazebo of the Sanssouci Palace in Germany, another representative piece of architecture from the Rococo Age, and it was produced to clearly display the image of the Sanssouci Palace, using emerald and ivory. Piece III applies the furniture trends of the Rococo Age. Curves in S and C shapes, which can often be found in Chinese furniture, along with dark backgrounds, common in portrait paintings, were applied to give a sense of weight and dignity. Piece IV is an application of the fabric patterns of the Rococo Age. Continuous patterns of flowers and greenery stems were drawn on the mask to recreate the fabric patterns of the age. Piece V used the painting 'Swing' of the Rococo Age as its inspiration. Lace and ribbon decorations were used to emphasize feminine beauty and express the loveliness of the woman that appears in the painting. Piece VI borrows from the painting 'Madame de Pompadour' of the Rococo Age and the clothing worn by Pompadour. This piece grafted colors and themes through the painting and expressed a fusion of the dresses of Pompadour and lace that is clearly displayed in the architecture, paintings, clothing, interior decorations, and patterns of the Rococo Age, along with the rocaille (asymmetrically shaped decorations that resemble clams), flowers, leaves, stems, and Chinoiserie styles. These motifs clearly display the decorative characteristics of the age and these were grafted them onto art masks, confirming that it is possible to create new designs.

자전거 이용자가 안경 및 선글라스를 쓴 상태에서 마스크를 착용 할 때 여러 가지 불편함을 호소한다. 본 논문은 이러한 불편함을 보완하여 자전거 라이더들에게 필요한 일회용 미세먼지 마스크를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 미세먼지 마스크의 특성상 일회성 정전기 발생 섬유와 마스크의 형태적 문제로 연구범위를 제한하고 기존 미세먼지 마스크를 간결한 제작공정으로 디자인한다. 이렇게 개발된 일회용 미세먼지 마스크는 세로방향 접힘으로 입 앞 마스크 내 공간을 충분히 확보하였고 거친 숨에도 입에 닿지 않게 접힘 부위형태가 유지 되게 하여 답답함을 최소화 하였다. 코지지대에 유선형 스폰지를 부착하고 안면 볼 부위를 일반마스크 보다 2.5cm 정도의 확장하여 측면 밀착성을 높였다. 또한 기존에 없던 일회용 미세먼지 스카프 마스크를 제작하여 안면과 목 부위 자외선을 차단하고 밀착성 높은 미세먼지 마스크를 개발하였다.

In this study, researcher intended to extract the major factors of makeup design from Yangju-beolsandaenori-tal(masks) and Songpa-sandaenori-tal which have been handed down to the present among many kinds of the Korean folk masks, and to apply those factors to the modernization of traditional culture in terms of makeup design. The 17 Sandaenori-tals exhibited at 'The special exhibition of the Korean folk masks' in 1981 by the national folk museum of Korea were selected as the objects of this research. The formational analysis in terms of shape, color and material was conducted. The 5 factors of this analysis are as follows; face and hair, forehead, eye and eyebrows, mouth and nose. The beauty expressed in Sandaenori-tal includes naturalness, eccentricity and good-humor. The human feelings are expressed candidly and simply through naturalness. The eccentricity in Sandaenori-tal overemphasizes the shape of mask unsymmetrically. And it is expressed ghostliy in black, white and red colors. The good-humors in aesthetic viewpoint was expressed in surprised faces and innocent smile. Researcher applies the good humour to the art makeup in strong natural colors and shapes.

Primitive men's primordial formative activity derives from incarnation contained in intensive vitality and strong creativity mind. The trend of modern fashion requiring the boundless imagination can be called that it, just, itself, has something in common with basic spiritual activity that primitive men had. What is concerning how modern fashion designers have developed formative language through enchanting primitive art is as follows. 1. The nature's mysterious power appears to be transformed into personified image. The incarnation for acquiring beauty, power, prestige of genius appears in the form of personification, making use of mask in modern fashion. 2. As for primitive men, the whole universe has a potentiality as a symbol. The symbolism of primitive art based on religion and myth appears in modern art as the form of presenting oppositional objects together in one space. 3. Primitive art is the purest form and the most unpolluted. This shows the natural quality being assimilated into nature, which is expressed in modern fashion as intensity, free-spirit, simplicity, etc. 4. The primitive men's anxiety to the outside world appears as impulse. The geometrical form of primitive art occurred in the shape of impulse appears in expressional form of modern fashion. 5. The real existence in primitive art inducing real materials and objects, in themselves, into formative world appears in modern art in the way of expression such as repetition, enlargement, exact reproduction.

Performance art is an integrated genre of different art areas, and make-up is a visual art area to give lively effects to the performance art, which makes actors and actresses changed into the characters of plays. It can be said to be a kind of deliverer of idea to help effectively understand the contents of the performance. When we are in the world abundant in various cultures and innumerable styles of expression of different countries, we should rediscover the value of the beauty of our traditional masks that have represented the emotion and thought of Han nation, which we can find in play culture of our ancestors that has kept our ancestors' value system. That's the way we can get continuous life force and competitive power of our traditional culture. The Korean traditional masks haven't only been for the prevention of bad luck and the prayer of fortune, but also well expressed Korean people's looks, features and personalities according to the roles. They are excellent artistic works in themselves, and many studies have been performed on the analyses and uses of the features of the masks in various fields due to their good expression of different cultural aspects, while the studies in the light of make-up are rarely performed. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the features of the Korean traditional masks and, by using this analysis, to present effective make-up designs in outdoor performances through a stage performance. In addition, this article also tries to present the orientation of make-up as an expression of artistic image, and to expand the expression area of make-up by using the Korean traditional masks in the light of make-up. For this purpose, I examined the related literature and the precedent study materials to find the origin and kinds of the Korean traditional masks, and analyzed the features of the masks. Furthermore, I established the make-up design plan using the material features of the Korean traditional masks by analyzing the characters in actual performance works, and presented the photos of works actually performed.
