군 급식에서 주방과 홀 서비스 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Satisfaction with Kitchen and Mess Hall Service in Military Foodservice)

  • This study investigates and analyzes the diversity of menu in military meal services that are recognized by the soldiers who are familar with meal services and, suggest the implications on the results of the analysis. For the ranks of respondents in terms of demographic features, the sergeants were 43.2%(186), the corporals were 29.7%(128). It was identified that the diversity of menu had significant influences as 57.5%. Thus, for the satisfaction on the kitchen and mess hall service, the sanitary condition was the most considerable factor as 41.6%. Next, water supply facilities, sewer hygiene and towels in washstaynds were the issues to be considered more. In conclusion, this study was limited only to the air soldiers in Chungcheon. Then, the future study needs to expand the samples more than this study to apply the results to the entire army. Moreover, the study could not be actively performed because of the particularity of the army. Consequently, it is required to make these kinds of researches dynamically performed like for any other meal service industries.

Zigbee-based Local Army Strategy Network Configurations for Multimedia Military Service

  • With the rapid evolution of communication technology, it became possible to overcome the spatial and temporal limitations faced by humans to some extent. Furthermore, the quality of personal life was revolutionized with the emergence of the personal communication device commonly known as the smart phone. In terms of defense networks, however, due to restrictions from the military and security perspectives, the use of smart phones has been prohibited and controlled in the army; thus, they are not being used for any defense strategy purposes as yet. Despite the current consideration of smart phones for military communication, due to the difficulties of network configuration and the high cost of the necessary communication devices, the main tools of communication between soldiers are limited to the use of flag, voice or hand signals, which are all very primitive. Although these primitive tools can be very effective in certain cases, they cannot overcome temporal and spatial limitations. Likewise, depending on the level of the communication skills of each individual, communication efficiency can vary significantly. As the term of military service continues to be shortened, however, types of communication of varying efficiency depending on the levels of skills of each individual newly added to the military is not desirable at all. To address this problem, it is essential to prepare an intuitive network configuration that facilitates use by soldiers in a short period of time by easily configuring the strategy network at a low cost while maintaining its security. Therefore, in this article, the author proposes a Zigbee-based local strategic network by using Opnet and performs a simulation accordingly.

육군 간부선발 면접에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Selection Interview for Army Officers)

  • 육군 간부선발 면접은 면접질문과 시사성 있는 내용들이 방대하여 군 간부 지원자들이 준비하는데 애로사항이 있었다. 필기평가를 통과한 지원자들은 마지막 면접을 통과하면 최종 선발된다. 하지만 병사들 처우개선으로 상대적으로 지원자가 감소하고 있어 장차 첨단장비를 운용할 간부가 부족할 것으로 예상된다. 우수한 지원자들이 최종면접에서 탈락하지 않도록 면접과 관련된 자료를 제공하고 지원자들의 개성 있는 면접방향을 제시하고자 한다.

일반 사병들의 에이즈에 대한 지식, 태도, 건강신념에 관한 연구 (A Study on Soldiers' Knowledge, Attitude and Health Belief about AIDS)

  • Purpose: This study purposed to investigate the relationship between soldiers' general characteristic and their knowledge, attitude and health-belief about AIDS. Method: This study conducted a survey of 197 soldiers using a structured questionnaire. Data were collected from the 10th to 30th of May 2003. Result: The average age of the participants was 21.6 years, 78.2% of them were undergraduates of universities, and by religion the number of Christians was largest. In addition, 81.2% of them had lived with their parents and siblings before they joined the army and most of them were unmarried. Of the subjects, 75.1% finished education about AIDS, 64.5% experienced a sexual intercourse and 6.3% experienced a venereal disease. The participants' knowledge level about AIDS was 14.6 out of 20 points and their attitude about AIDS is 3.96 out of 5 points on the average. Their health-belief about AIDS was 4.0 out of 5 points in 'perceived benefits,' 2.9 in 'perceived barriers,' 2.6 in 'perceived seriousness' and 2.6 in 'perceived sensitivity. Among the subjects' general characteristics, religion was found to be a statistically significant variable for their knowledge level about AIDS. A variable that is statistically significant for the subjects' attitude toward AIDS was families they had lived together before joining the army. Statistically significant variables for the subjects' health-belief about AIDS were perceived sensitivity and experience in venereal diseases, perceived benefits and AIDS education and perceived barriers and marital status. The subjects' knowledge about AIDS was in a statistically significant correlation with their attitude toward AIDS, and their attitude toward AIDS with perceived benefits. Conclusion: According to the results of this study. those who had had AIDS education appeared to have high attitude and health-belief concerning AIDS. Thus it is necessary to execute AIDS education systematically and continuously in order to have right attitude and high health-belief concerning AIDS.

부모애착과 자기통제력과의 관계에서 공격성과 자아존중감의 매개효과: 육군병사를 중심으로 (The Mediating Effects of Aggression and Self-Esteem on the Relationship between Perceived Parental Attachment and Self-Control of Army Soldiers)

  • 본 연구는 육군병사가 지각한 부모애착과 자기통제력과의 관계에서 공격성과 자아존중감의 매개효과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 현역병사를 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 507부를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 병사들의 부모애착과 자기통제력은 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 공격성과 자기통제력은 부적상관을, 자아존중감과 자기통제력은 정적상관을 나타냈다. 한편 부모애착은 자기통제력에 직접적으로 영향을 줄 뿐만 아니라 공격성과 자아존중감을 매개로 자기통제력에 간접적으로도 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며 매개효과는 자아존중감보다 공격성이 상대적으로 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 상담 실제 및 후속 연구에 대한 시사점을 논하였다.

  • 본 연구는 직업군인의 긍정성과 가족의사소통이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 이들의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 2015년 국방부의 승인을 거친 직업군인들에 대한 연구에 대해 육 해 공 해병대 부대의 협조를 구하여 장기복무 직업군인 241명에게 설문조사를 거쳤으며 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 장기복무 직업군인의 조직몰입은 긍정성, 가족의사소통 그리고 자기효능감과 모두 정적 상관관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 변인을 모두 고려하여 분석한 결과, 측정모형과 구조모형의 적합도는 양호한 것으로 나타났으며 직업군인의 조직몰입에 대해 긍정성과 가족의사소통은 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 이들의 관계에서 자기효능감은 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 장기복무 직업군인의 조직몰입을 위한 효과적인 함의를 제시하고자 한다.

  • 우리나라는 인구구조 측면에서 군사력이 심각한 위험 구간에 진입하였으며, 또한, 저 출산은 단순히 국가 경제활동 인구의 감소뿐만 아니라, 우리나라 최후의 안보 보루인 군 조직에서의 병력자원 감소로 이어져 문제의 심각성은 더해가며 곧, '다문화 가정 출신 자녀'의 군(軍) 입대 추세는 2025년부터 2031년 사이에 연 평균 8천여 명이 입대할 것으로 예측 됨으로서, 대한민국 국군의 병력자원은 '다문화 군대'로 변모하는 것은 불가피한 상항이 될 것이다. 결국, 우리나라 최후의 안보 보루인 군 조직에서의 병력자원 감소와 다문화 군대라는 문제의 심각성은 더해갈 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 다문화 병사가 군(軍) 복무 적응과정을 어떻게 적응해 가고 있는가를 밝히고, 군(軍) 생활 적응에 대한 일련의 과정을 범주화시켜 심층적으로 분석하는 연구이다.

A Study on the Leadership Level and Development of Female Military Leaders in the Army

  • This study aims to empirically analyze the effects of leadership level and toxic leadership on leadership performance results among male and female military leaders in the Army, and to verify whether the leader's gender has a moderating effect in this process. Additionally, by comparing and analyzing the leadership level, toxic leadership, and leadership performance results of female military leaders by position, this study seeks to examine the characteristics of female military leadership according to position. The research model was established with leadership level and toxic leadership as independent variables, leadership performance results as the dependent variable, and the leader's gender as a moderating variable. Data were collected through a survey of 216 male and female officers serving in the positions of platoon leader, company commander, and battalion commander in the Army. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that leadership level had a significant positive effect on leadership performance results, while toxic leadership had a significant negative effect. The leader's gender moderated the relationship between leadership level and leadership performance results, with female leaders receiving lower evaluations than male leaders at the same level of leadership competency. Gender also moderated the relationship between toxic leadership and leadership performance results, with female leaders exhibiting the same level of toxic leadership receiving lower performance evaluations than male leaders. In the comparative analysis of female military leadership characteristics by position, the leadership level of the platoon leader and company commander groups was not significantly different from that of male soldiers, but the battalion commander group showed slightly lower leadership competency compared to male soldiers. Based on these results, this study suggests ways to improve the leadership level of female military leaders, reduce toxic leadership, and prepare support measures to strengthen the leadership competency of female military officers at the battalion commander level and above from policy, institutional, and educational perspectives.

집단음악치료가 관심병사의 군 생활 스트레스와 적응에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Group Music Therapy for At-Risk Korean Soldiers on Adjustment and Stress Level)

  • 본 연구는 군 생활 적응에 어려움을 호소하는 관심병사들을 대상으로 집단음악심리치료를 시행하여 군 생활 스트레스와 적응 정도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ 사단에 소속된 병사들 중 국군병원 정신과 진료 및 군 전문상담관의 개별상담을 통해 관심병사로 분류된 7명을 대상으로 총 12시간에 걸쳐 집단음악치료 프로그램으로 진행되었다. 선행연구에서 계발 및 사용되었던 군 생활 스트레스 척도와 군 생활 적응척도를 사용하여 사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였고, 검사결과는 비모수에 의한 Wilcoxon 검정을 실시하였다. 집단음악치료 프로그램 중재 후 대상자들의 군 생활 스트레스 전체의 사전사후 검사결과는 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 보였다(p < .05). 이를 하위 요인별로 보면 역할스트레스와 외부스트레스는 유의미한 차이가 있었고, 관계스트레스 및 직무스트레스는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 군 생활 적응척도의 전체 결과는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다(p < .05). 하지만 하위요인에서 심신의 상태와 직책과 직무만족은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었고, 임무수행의 의지와 군 환경에 대한 태도는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 이러한 결과들은 심리 정서적 지지 차원의 집단음악치료 활동이 군 부적응 관심병사의 스트레스와 군 생활 적응도에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다.

군인의 건강위험행위, 구강건강관련 삶의 질 및 행복감과의 연관성 (Relationship between health risk behaviors, oral health-related quality of life (OHIP-14) and happiness in soldiers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate factors affecting health risk behavior, oral health related quality of life (OHIP-14) and happiness in soldiers. Methods: Data were collected from Gangwon and Chungchong provinces from the first to the $15^{th}$ of October, 2016. Excluding five copies with incomplete answers, 203 copies of the questionnaire were were analyzed. Health risk behaviors (drinking and smoking), perceived oral health, OHIP-14 and happiness were measured. The data were analyzed with a t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. Results: The amount of daily cigarette consumption of soldiers (66 people) was an average of 10.11 cigarette. The mean of OHIP-14 and that of happiness were 4.43 and 4.05, respectively. The higher the quality perceived oral health, the better the OHIP-14 (r=0.234) and happiness (r=0.192) were. The higher the OHIP-14, the higher the happiness (r=0.357). OHIP-14 was related to army, perceived oral health and happiness. The explanatory power of the model was 17.0%. Conclusions: OHIP-14 is associated with happiness. These results suggest that oral health education programs and policies need to be developed to instill happiness in soldiers.
