This paper proposes hand gesture recognition using shape similarity method. For this, we require two steps which are aquisition of Hand area and similarity evaluation. First step is extracting hand area using YCbCr color spare. Then eliminate noise through filter and analyzing histogram. For doing this, we ran measure similarity of hand gesture by applying TSR after getting contour. Finally, we utilize shape similarity for recognizing of hand gesture.

This paper introduces the data processing method and the measurement of the leakage current flowing through polymer insulators. For ageing diagnosis of polymer insulator, data aquisition system was developed to record the leakage current of insulator being tested. Hence, we have gained information for life time from its leakage current. the DAS is protected against over-voltage which would develop in the event of a flashover of the test sample.

본 논문은 그루빙(grooving),타이닝(tinning),텍스쳐(texture) 등의 포장 도로의 표면 상태를 고성능의 레이저 변위센서를 사용하여 정밀하게 측정하고, 측정한 표면 상태를 객관적으로 평가하는 장비 개발에 관한 논문이다. 본 논문에서는 실제 평가 장비 차량을 만들기에 앞서 전체 시스템을 설계하고, 실내에서 차량과 도로의 모사 장비를 만들어 실험하였다. 본 실험에서는 오실로스코프와 DAQ (Data Aquisition) 보드를 사용하였다. LabView로 선호처리 프로그래밍을 하여 컴퓨터 화면에 GUI 형태로 나타내었다. 측정 데이터는 컴퓨터의 저장 공간에 저장하여 후처리를 가능하게 하였다. 또한, 실제 평가 장비 차량에 장착하게 될, GPS(Global Positioning System) 시스템으로 부터 실시간으로 평가 장비 차량의 이동거리 데이터를 얻었다. 실험 결과 차량이 80km/h로 주행할 때 도로 표면 타이닝의 폭과 깊이가 평균 9.67% 오차를 보였으며, 이동거리는 0.03% 이내의 오차를 보여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었다.

Because of the increasing demand on the high precision and high response of a machinery, proportional control valves are widely adopted at various application fields. This paper studies on the static and dynamic characteristics of a pilot proportional pressure control valve. An experimental apparatus including hydraulic pump, variable speed inverter, pressure and flow sensors and data aquisition system was set up. And various experiments such as P-Q-V curves, step responses due to input voltage and flow rate, hysteresis, frequency response of the proportional valve was carried out and the results are discussed.

Currently in electric railways, there are various test standards for catenary systems such as stability assessment standards and maintenance standards for appropriate vehicle operation. In Korea, maintenance vehicles are used to measure height, stagger, and wear of catenaries and various tests are being conducted based on maintenance manuals. In this paper, real-time data aquisition technologies for assessment of electric railway current collection status between catenaries and pantographs that are consistantely being developed from the adoption of electric railways were analyzed based on on-board measurement items.

Seismic reflection method is applied to detect shallow location of limestone in Chechon area. The data using hammer source is compared with that of weight drop. Small size hammer and weight-drop are used as energy source and 100Hz geophones are used for data aquisition. Data processing is conducted utilizing the available processing technique of "Geobit", which is seismic data processing software developed by KIGAM. The result of above data processing, the velocity of topsoil layer is 1,250m/sec. The velocity of this area is higher than other area because loading trucks pass this area and make this layer compact. And in limestone area, hammer is proposed to energy source instead of weight drop because the energy propagates the layer very well.

국내 성인들의 인터넷 이용 행태와 인터넷을 이용한 건강정보의 획득에 대한 현황을 조사, 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 국내 성인남녀 476명을 대상으로 인터넷 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 조사를 분석한 결과 인터넷의 이용 행태와 인터넷을 이용한 건강정보의 획득에 관련된 다양한 통계 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이 논문에서는 이 결과를 기존에 조사되어 발표된 통계 결과들과 비교 분석하여 결과의 의의를 해석하고 차이가 발생된 부분에 대해서는 그 원인을 분석하였다. 이 논문에서 제시된 통계 결과들은 향후 인터넷 건강정보 웹사이트들이 제공하는 의료콘텐츠의 주된 목표 대상, 주된 목표 내용의 선정과 홍보 전략에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.

본 논문에서는 현실 세계가 가지고 있는 지식이 어느 정도 체계적으로 정제되어 있는 국어사전, 백과사전 등을 중심으로, Hybrid Method를 이용한 통계(Statistics)기반 지식베이스와 어휘분류(Lexicon Classification)기반 지식베이스를 효율적으로 구축하여 질의응답시스템에 활용한다. 또한 특정한 문서를 보여주는 일반적인 질의응답시스템과는 달리, 이러한 지식베이스를 이용하여 사용자에게 정확한 개념어(정답어)를 습득하게끔 해주고, 사용자의 인지 체계 속에 어렴풋이 내포되어 있는 개념적 지식을 더욱더 표면적으로 확장해 나갈 수 있는 질의응답시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제시한다.

In this paper, statistical properties of waves in the sea area of Mara-do, Korea are examined based on 1998-1999's wave data from a directional wave buoy which is located in Mara-do. Wave data aquisition rate, monthly maximium, minimum and mean wave heights, frequency of wave direction are summarized. Wave height and period scatter diagrams and n-year return period wave heights are estimated. Wave periods of maximum wave heights are also estimated.

Wave periods of maximum wave heights are also estimated. Large amplitude wave characteristics during the typhoon Prapiroon in 2000, Rusa in 2002 are also examined.
