Sixteen microsatellite markers (simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers) were employed to examine the genetic stability of 27 randomly chosen date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) plants produced through somatic embryogenesis with upto forty two in vitro subcultures. No microsatellite DNA variation was observed among all micropropagated plants. Our results indicate that the micropropagation protocol used for rapid in vitro multiplication is appropriate and suitable for clonal propagation of date palm and corroborated that somatic embryogenesis can also be used as one of the safe modes for production of true-to-type plants of date palm. This is the first report on the use of microsatellite DNA markers to establish the genetic stability in micropropagated date palm plants.

Communication has increasingly become important between peoples in the modern society. The change in the composition of a family brought by urbanization and industrialization caused structural changes in the society, and the lack of communication between people have incited various social conflicts rising from individualism and ego-centrism. Thus in this era, domestic environment is one of the most significant environment that enables one to transform into an appropriate member of the social community as well as develop appropriate traits of one. The living room, which served as an arena of communication for family members is now replaced with TV, a popular media, and has lost its original role in the house. The living room furnitures today are designed to facilitate people in viewing TV, not to enhance communication between family members. Thus in this research, I would like to propose a new concept of 'communication furniture' and various examples to suggest appropriate, desired role of living room furniture in households today. In addition, I hope this research contributes to forming a beneficial living room culture and a domestic environment as well as a heart-warming, human society.

The purpose of this study is to investigate what English teachers think about what and how to teach culture, as a way of helping students build relevant background knowledge and enhance their motivation in learning English. A total of 300 teachers completed a self-report questionnaire in four areas: (i) their understanding and liking of English-spoken countries, (ii) their use of materials and tools for teaching culture, (iii) their consciousness of teaching culture, and (iv) their needs for culture learning in the teacher-training program. The results show that (i) they think American culture is dominant in EFL but they are much interested in British culture; (ii) they rely on internet most for their cultural experience while they think students get much of the cultural information from textbooks; (iii) they are very much conscious of the importance of teaching culture for improving students' English proficiency; (iv) they want to learn in the teacher training program more about cultural practice, which can be subsumed under the so called 'small c'. The findings suggest that (i) textbooks need to include contents to promote students' cultural awareness and foster intercultural competence, (ii) teachers should use authentic materials with appropriate adaptation, and (iii) a teacher training program should cover a wide range of contents and skills for teaching culture.

This study examines the most recent successful venture development practices in the United States, Israel, Germany, Finland, and China. The purpose of this study was to find out which foreign country's venture promotion policy is appropriate to korea, why foreign country's venture policy is appropriate to korea and why it is not appropriate, and to draw policy implications for domestic venture promotion and development. The research method was conducted by 50 panel of venture experts using Delphi research technique called 'expert consensus'. As a result of the Delphi research, Finland's venture promotion policy has received the highest evaluation in the usefulness, ease and suitability. Like Finland, the establishment of venture ecosystem through organic activities of private, government, industry, academia, and research was analyzed as the first priority for domestic venture policy. Analyzed. In addition, it was analyzed that the venture policy followed by the private sector under the government's strong promotion policy was no longer appropriate.

Yeung Nam University Medical Center, Department Of Central medical Supply Background: The adverse effect of intravenous therapy combined with various complications. Because sterilization technique and appropriate nursing care can prevent various complications, it is important to use appropriate sponge in intravenous therapy. The purpose of study was to identy sterilization effect and detection of bacteria and to provide basic data for use of appropriate disinfectants. Methods: From May 15 1995 to Aug. 3. 1995, disinfectants that were used in Yeung Nam University Medical Center were tested by bacteria culture. To test sterilization effect of disinfectants of intravenous injection sites after disinfection, 10 subjects were used and were tested by bacteria culture for the study. Results: 1) By sterilization effect of disinfectants, bacteria were increased from 103 to 10 from 48 hours in both 2% Zephanon and 2% zephanon that was sterilized by steam, from 10 to 10 from 72 hours and 10 from 48 hours in 70% lsoprophyl alchol. Also, bacterias were detected in 70% lsoprophyl alchol on 48 hours. 2) By stenlization effect of sponge that were used in nursing unit, bacterias were detected in 2% Zephanon on 2 hours, 70% lsoprophyl alchol on 2 hours, 70% lsoprophyl alchol on 8 hours and 70% lsoprophyl alchol on 48 hours. 3) By sterilization effect and detection of bacteria of intravenous site after disinfection, bacterias were detected in 10 of 10 control groups, 8 of 10 sites that were disinfected by steam sterilized 2% zephanon sponge, 6 of 10 sites that were disinfected by 70% lsoprophyl alchol and 4 of 10 sites that were disinfected by 10% Batadine. Conclusions : it is conclued that 70% lsoprophyl alchol is appropriate for intravenous therapy and 10% Betadine is appropriate in ward that were polluted the air and in immunodeficient patients.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of children's milk intake at home and school in order to identify the better way to help children's milk intake. For this, 895 elementary students participated in this study through the questionnaire developed by researchers. Conclusions drawn from the results of this study are as follows : 1. Various kinds of milk should be provided for children both at home and school so that they can choose an appropriate milk for themselves. 2. Teachers at school should help children's milk intake not through forcing them but through appropriate educational approach. 3. Milk distribution system and ways of refrigeration of milk in school should be improved. 4. Nutrition education should be implemented for children so that they themselves choose milk as favorite beverage.

The aim of this study was comparing measuring tools for detecting physical comfortness with variation of garment pressure. The measuring tools for detecting physical comfortness were EEG and survey questionnaire. Two low-pressure compressionwears and a commercial compressionwear (girdle) were tested. Results showed that the questionnaire survey well detected suffocation or motion comfortness. But it did not discrete the appropriate tightness of the compressionwears. The results of EEG analysis show that the absolute power of ${\alpha}$-wave value was elevated with the low-pressure compressionwears. It also showed lower stress value. The high-pressure compressionwear presented decreased absolute power of ${\alpha}$-wave value. It showed higher stress value. These results implicate that EEG can appropriatly indicate the change of physical comfortness of compressionwear. The appropriate tightness of compressionwear can be measured with EEG analysis rather than survey questionnaire.

The purpose of this study was to find the attitudes on clothing of the Korean people implied in the Korean proverb. The results of the analysis of this research was as follows: It was found that the Koreans regarded clothing and personal appearance as important matter in their everyday life. The awareness of the importance of wearing clothes and personal appearance was usual matter to the Koreans. Thus they put a great value on good and appropriate clothing behavior and personal appearance. The Koreans understood the meaning of clothes make the man and they knew how to use the clothing and personal appearance to relate people in the social order. They showed a tendency to treat a personal in terms of his appearance. it seems that since the Koreans knew the importance of clothing and personal appearance in the relationship between person and person they emphasized appropriate clothing behavior and decency.

Results - This paper can suggest the novel idea on market development and the big possibility depend on ACE country and can describe the possibility on new market because of low smart phone market penetration and low digital market penetration. Conclusions - This paper concludes to develop e-business, culture friendly ship, linking with education, development of appropriate technology depend on country, and should develop new strategy for market extend to low penetration.

This study was carried out to investigate the appropriate hydroponic system when cherry tomatoes were grown in summer. The base diameter of the trunk, leaf length, leaf width, and the length of cluster were good in deep flow culture(DFC), and not different between NFT and rockwool culture. The first time of flowering and the fruit coloring per cluster were not different among cultural systems, but the marketable yields were good in DFC. In DFC, ％ dry weight, firmness, the content of organic acid and sugar were low, and the ratio of sugar/organic acid and vitamin C were high. So DFC is recommended for the summer cultivation of cherry tomatoes.
