Recently, multi-view depth estimation methods using deep learning network for the 3D scene reconstruction have gained lots of attention. Multi-view video contents have various characteristics according to their camera composition, environment, and setting. It is important to understand these characteristics and apply the proper depth estimation methods for high-quality 3D reconstruction tasks. The camera setting represents the physical distance which is called baseline, between each camera viewpoint. Our proposed methods focus on deciding the appropriate depth estimation methodologies according to the characteristics of multi-view video contents. Some limitations were found from the empirical results when the existing multi-view depth estimation methods were applied to a divergent or large baseline dataset. Therefore, we verified the necessity of obtaining the proper number of source views and the application of the source view selection algorithm suitable for each dataset's capturing environment. In conclusion, when implementing a deep learning-based depth estimation network for 3D scene reconstruction, the results of this study can be used as a guideline for finding adaptive depth estimation methods.
While the unemployment rate is rising rapidly due to recent economic recession at home and abroad, university students' reluctance to apply for jobs in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's) causes instability in manpower supply and demand and social unrest. To provide insights for solving the problem, this study explores how beliefs and attitudes of university students influence their intention to apply for jobs in SME's using Theory of Planned Behavior proposed by Icek Ajzen. This study followed the 2-stage survey methodology suggested by Ajzen. In the first stage of pilot study, a small sample of university students was used to illicit readily accessible behavioral outcomes, normative referents, and control factors. In the second stage of main study, the standard questionnaire was designed and administered and data were collected and analysed using the PLS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. PLS-SEM was used instead of Covariance Based (CB)- SEM considering the exploratory nature of this study. In overall, the results showed that TPB is very effective in explaining and predicting the university student's intention to apply for jobs in SEM's. Gender turned out to be a significant moderator variable in the relations between intention and its influence factors. Student's scholastic performance showed a negative correlation with intention. More research efforts need to be exerted to better understand university student's job seeking behavior.

Gyeonggi Province has established a bus information system to provide real-time bus arrival information, aiming to make bus usage convenient for its residents. While the Gyeonggi bus information system is becoming more advanced through the application of IT technology, there are still information-vulnerable groups finding it difficult to use. In particular, the elderly have a low level of digital information literacy and habe difficulty using it. In this regard, this study aims to address the information usage disparity among the elderly in public transportation by utilizing expert in-depth survey methodology known as the Delphi technique. The study classified the policy initiatives that Gyeonggi Province should undertake into three categories: user education and expanded promotion, technological development and dissemination, and providing convenient usage environment. Through two rounds of surveys, the study assessed the priority of ten specific sub-tasks within these categories. Additionally, it gathered opinions on the effectiveness and feasibility of each item. The results yielded prioritization and evaluation of effectiveness and feasibility for nine sub-tasks. Based on these outcomes, the study proposed future projects that Gyeonggi Province should implement to address the information disparity among the elderly, offering a comprehensive approach to bridge the gap.
Since the growing interest in surrogate modeling, there has been continuous research aimed at simulating nonlinear chemical processes using data-driven machine learning. However, the opaque nature of machine learning models, which limits their interpretability, poses a challenge for their practical application in industry. Therefore, this study aims to analyze chemical processes using Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), a concept that improves interpretability while ensuring model accuracy. While conventional sensitivity analysis of chemical processes has been limited to calculating and ranking the sensitivity indices of variables, we propose a methodology that utilizes XAI to not only perform global and local sensitivity analysis, but also examine the interactions among variables to gain physical insights from the data. For the ammonia synthesis process, which is the target process of the case study, we set the temperature of the preheater leading to the first reactor and the split ratio of the cold shot to the three reactors as process variables. By integrating Matlab and Aspen Plus, we obtained data on ammonia production and the maximum temperatures of the three reactors while systematically varying the process variables. We then trained tree-based models and performed sensitivity analysis using the SHAP technique, one of the XAI methods, on the most accurate model. The global sensitivity analysis showed that the preheater temperature had the greatest effect, and the local sensitivity analysis provided insights for defining the ranges of process variables to improve productivity and prevent overheating. By constructing alternative models for chemical processes and using XAI for sensitivity analysis, this work contributes to providing both quantitative and qualitative feedback for process optimization.
Data modelling and interpretation for structural health monitoring (SHM) field data are critical for evaluating structural performance and quantifying the vulnerability of infrastructure systems. In order to improve the data modelling accuracy, and extend the application range from data regression analysis to out-of-sample forecasting analysis, an improved most likely heteroscedastic Gaussian process (iMLHGP) methodology is proposed in this study by the incorporation of the outof-sample forecasting algorithm. The proposed iMLHGP method overcomes this limitation of constant variance of Gaussian process (GP), and can be used for estimating non-stationary typhoon-induced response statistics with high volatility. The first attempt at performing data regression and forecasting analysis on structural responses using the proposed iMLHGP method has been presented by applying it to real-world filed SHM data from an instrumented cable-stay bridge during typhoon events. Uncertainty quantification and correlation analysis were also carried out to investigate the influence of typhoons on bridge strain data. Results show that the iMLHGP method has high accuracy in both regression and out-of-sample forecasting. The iMLHGP framework takes both data heteroscedasticity and accurate analytical processing of noise variance (replace with a point estimation on the most likely value) into account to avoid the intensive computational effort. According to uncertainty quantification and correlation analysis results, the uncertainties of strain measurements are affected by both traffic and wind speed. The overall change of bridge strain is affected by temperature, and the local fluctuation is greatly affected by wind speed in typhoon conditions.

Local decline can be caused by business closures or the departure of the youth. Most countries have been striving to overcome regional inequality through local or community entrepreneurship using assets or contents obtained from differentiated and original embedded resources. The purpose of this study is to conceptualize local contents and local entrepreneurship. To reach the research goals, this paper utilizes the grounded theory as qualitative methodology. From the main findings, this paper suggests that entrepreneurship in the local is influenced by informal alley or specific location (regions) institution outputs so called as local contents which are local norm, culture, local identities. This paper conceptualizes local contents as 'product of creative scenario'. And this work also suggests the liner model for local content innovation. The contribution of this work are two: 1) showing how the local content creation process; 2) analyzing the how local entrepreneurship configures. It can be inclusive potential startups items rooted at the unique resources and assets of the locals and reflecting the originality of locality. In terms of local institutional perspectives, local development takes pace when advancing application of local entrepreneurship. In order for that, practical challenging is more needed by using informal local institutions. Also 'three step linear model' will be applied to educate the new creators. Local contents and local entrepreneurship can definitely rehabilitate locality.

When a fire occurs on a naval vessel, rapid suppression and control are essential to mitigate potential human and material losses. Due to the nature of naval vessels, the risk of fuel fires is significant, making the use of aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) crucial for effective fire suppression. Additionally, the possibility of fires occurring within compartments on the vessel must also be considered. Understanding the trajectory and application range of AFFF in such environments is vital, necessitating the design of firefighting systems tailored to compartmental conditions. In this study, an analysis was conducted to investigate the feasibility of applying spray height and angle for AFFF using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methodology as a validation tool. Based on these findings, CFD analysis results applicable to compartment environments on naval vessels were obtained. These results will serve as the foundation for the development of firefighting systems capable of promptly responding to fuel fires within naval vessel compartments.
Korean pharmaceutical and bio-health companies began applying for FDA approval in 2000. However, drug companies in South Korea are not required to obtain FDA approval to market their products on the South Korean market, and the approval process is highly resource-intensive. This study utilizes event study methodology to examine the information effect of US FDA approval announcements on the stock prices of pharmaceutical and bio-health companies listed on South Korean stock markets. The study's results show that FDA approval announcements caused abnormal increases in corporate stock prices, indicating that these announcements have a transnational information effect on South Korean companies' value. Furthermore, the results show that the impact of FDA approval announcements on stock prices is greater for small companies than mid-sized and large companies and in bio and healthcare industries than in the traditional pharmaceutical industry. This impact is also more significant on the KOSDAQ (Korea Securities Dealers Automated Quotation) companies than the KOSPI (Korean Composite Stock Price Index) companies and after the expansion of stock price limits. These findings signal that the information effect is more significant when regulatory controls are weaker. The results also indicate that obtaining FDA approval brings above-normal returns for companies and that FDA application is a high-risk, high-return investment.

Purpose: Nowadays, A medical institution assesment could get more interest about a quality of medical services from many hospitals that developed the active activities for improving medical services. Also, there is an other additional issue which is the patients risk management. Uijeongbu ST. Mary's hospital Nuclear Medicine department has been changed many work process after PET-CT introduction and renovation of its place since 2008. Therefore, modified structure and the way of existing work process have contained risk factors. The purpose of this study would be the appropriate risk management process while imaging examination process, the removal risk factors and improved activities through the analysis risk factors. Materials and Methods: Nuclear Medicine department new process should analysis through many-sided, Firstly, make and trained risk management manual after then apply an actual work. Result analysis showed the number of risk accident occurrence that comparing the last year and after the improved activities. Secondly, producing risk management public relations film has been showed an applicable patient after then the customer service measurement checked for a hundred patient by questionnaire. Lastly, Risk factors were eliminated through the facilities participation improving activities which could change for the better risk factors. Results: The number of safety accident occurrence(medication error, fall and collision) were checked as zero after the improving activities both PET-CT and gamma camera examination. The results of questionnaire showed as follows; 74% marked as understanding of the test process and 81% checked "satisfaction" after the public relations film showing. The question "Did you consider about the risk factors?", both PET-CT and gamma camera checked as 94% and 89% respectively. Customer risk management could be accomplished effectively through the improving activities at the nuclear medicine department. Conclusions: The study would be an opportunity that spread risk factors were systematically showed and analyzied. Also, It showed the possibility of the minimized safety accident and its feedback, if application of the response manuel that could be a standard of radiology technician's work method to react safety accident. It was the more effective that visual material could be easy to approach as a methodology of risk factors. As far as I have concerned that It could help the safety and convenience through continuous and detailed activities that offer to patients.

The wetland ecosystem is a complex products of various erosion force, accumulation as water flows, hydrogeomorphic units, seasonal changes, the amount of rainfalls, and other essential element. There is no single, correct, ecologically sound definition for wetlands because of the diversity of wetlands and the demarcation between dry and wet environments occurs along a continuum, but wetland plays various ecosystem functions. Despite comprehensive integration through classification and impact factors there is still lacking in systematic management of wetlands. Classification system developed by the USFWS(1979) is hierarchical progresses from systems and subsystems at general levels to classes, subclasses, dominance types, and habitat modifiers. Systems and subsystems are delineated according to major physical attributes such as tidal flushing, ocean-derived salts, and the energy of flowing water or waves. Classes and subclasses describe the type of substrate and habitat or the physiognomy of the vegetation or faunal assemblage. Wetland classes are divided into physical types and biotic types. For the wise management of wetlands in Korea, this study was carried out to examine methodology of USFWS classification system and discuss its application for Korean wetland hydrogeomorphic units already known. Seven wetland types were chosen as study sites in Korea divided into some different types based on USFWS system. Three wetland types belonging to palustrine system showed no difference between Wangdungjae wetland and Mujechi wetland, but Youngnup of Mt. Daeam was different from the former two types at the level of dominant types. This fact means that setting of classification system for management of wetland is needed. Although we may never know much about the wetland resources that have been lost, there are opportunities to conserve the riches that remain. Extensive inventory of all wetland types and documentation of their ecosystem functions are vital. Unique and vulnerable examples in particular need to be identified and protected. Furthermore, a framework with which to demonstrate wetland characteristics and relationships is needed that is sufficiently detailed to achieve the identification of the integrity and salient features of an enormous range of wetland types.
