  • Until now, some protocols have been presented to provide vehicle's anonymity and unlinkability in VANET by means of issuing multiple anonymous certificates to each vehicle from the trust authority, or shot-time anonymous certificate to a vehicle after mutual authentication between a Roadside Unit (RSU) and the vehicle. However, these protocols have high overheads of the trust authority, RSUs and vehicles for generating anonymous certificate. In this paper, we propose an efficient anonymous authentication protocol, in which RSUs can issue multiple shot-time anonymous certificates to a vehicle to alleviate system overheads for mutual authentication between vehicles and RSUs. Several simulations are conducted to verify the efficiency of the proposed protocol in terms of RSU valid serve ratio and vehicle's computational costs. Moreover, the proposed protocol provides unlinkability and traceability when multiple RSUs are compromised, whereas previous protocols do not provide unlinkability and traceability.

  • Recently, mobile phones have been recognized as the most convenient type of mobile payment device. However, they have some security problems; therefore, mobile devices cannot be used for unauthorized transactions using anonymous data by unauthenticated users in a cloud environment. This paper suggests a mobile payment system that uses a certificate mode in which a user receives a paperless receipt of a product purchase in a cloud environment. To address mobile payment system security, we propose the transaction certificate mode (TCM), which supports mutual authentication and key management for transaction parties. TCM provides a software token, the transaction certificate token (TCT), which interacts with a cloud self-proxy server (CSPS). The CSPS shares key management with the TCT and provides simple data authentication without complex encryption. The proposed self-creating protocol supports TCM, which can interactively communicate with the transaction parties without accessing a user's personal information. Therefore, the system can support verification for anonymous data and transaction parties and provides user-based mobile payments with a paperless receipt.

  • There's a controversy about an invasion of privacy which includes a leakage of private information and linking of user's behavior on internet. Although many solutions for this problem are proposed, we think anonymous authentication, authorization, and payment mechanism is the best solution for this problem. In this paper, we propose an effective anonymity-based method that achieves not only authentication but also authorization. Our proposed method uses anonymous qualification certificate and group signature method as an underlying primitive, and combines anonymous authentication and qualification information. An eligible user is legitimately issued a group member key pair through key issuing process and issued some qualification certificates anonymously, and then, he can take the safe and convenience web service which supplies anonymous authentication and authorization. The qualification certificate can be expanded according to application environment and it can be used as payment token.

  • As the fixed mobile communication tools using the internet are developed, the off-line services are serviced through on-line on the internet. our society is divided into the real world and the cyber world. In the cyber world, the authentication to the user is absolutely required. The authentication is divided into the real-name authentication and the anonymous authentication by the kind of the internet service provider. There are some ISPs needed the real-name authentication and there are others ISPs needed the anonymity authentication. The research about the anonymity authentication is steadily established to these days. In this paper, we analyze the problem about blind signature, group signature, ring signature, and traceable signature. And we propose a method of anonymity authentication using the public certificate. In the proposal, the anonymity certificate have the new structure and management. Certificate Authority issues several anonymity certificates to a user through the real-name authentication. Several anonymity certificates give non-linked and non-traceability to the attacker.

  • A Certificate Revocation List(CRL) should be distributed quickly to all the vehicles for vehicular communications to protect them from malicious users and malfunctioning equipment as well as to increase the overall security and safety of vehicular networks. Thus, a major challenge in vehicular networks is how to efficiently distribute CRLs. This paper proposes a Multimedia Object Transfer(MOT) protocol based on CRL distribution scheme over T-DMB infrastructure. To complete the proposed scheme, a handoff method, CRL encoding rules based on the MOT protocol, and relative comparison are presented. The scheme can broaden breadth of network coverage and can get real-time delivery with enhanced transmission reliability. Even if road side units are sparsely deployed or, even not deployed, vehicles can obtain recent CRLs from T-DMB infrastructure effectively.

  • CBDC has characteristics similar to e-payments in which all records are kept by logs, so it is difficult to satisfy the anonymity level of cash. Therefore, in this study, the CBDC model that encrypts all transaction contents using the Diffie-Hellman key sharing algorithm was presented to enhance anonymity. The proposed model provides unlinkability anduntraceability. In addition, a CBDC certificate that uses pseudonym is used. Through this certificate, illegal transactions that require tracking can be tracked later by authorized institutions.

  • The illegal copying and redistribution of digitally-stored information is a crucial problem to distributors who electronically sell digital data. fingerprinting scheme is a technique which supports copyright protection to track redistributors of electronic information using cryptographic techniques. Anonymous asymmetric fingerprinting scheme prevents the merchant from framing a buyer by making the fingerprinted version known to the buyer only. And this scheme allows the buyer to purchase goods without revealing her identity to the seller. In this paper, a new anonymous asymmetric fingerprinting scheme with TTP is introduced. The buyer's fingerprint is generated by the Fingerprint Certificate Authority which is a TTP. When the seller embeds the fingerprint in the digital data, the protocol uses the homomorphic encryption scheme. Thus the seller cannot know the buyer's fingerprint and the buyer's anonymity is guaranteed by using anonymous key pair.

  • Most of existing privacy-preserving multi-authorities attribute-based encryption schemes (PP-MA-ABE) only considers the privacy of the user identity (ID). However, in many occasions information leakage is caused by the disclosing of his/her some sensitive attributes. In this paper, we propose a collusion-resisting ciphertext-policy PP-MA-ABE (CRPP-MACP-ABE) scheme with hiding both user's ID and attributes in the cloud storage system. We present a method to depict anonymous users and introduce a managerial role denoted by IDM for the management of user's anonymous identity certificate ($AID_{Cred}$). The scheme uses $AID_{Cred}$ to realize privacy-preserving of the user, namely, by verifying which attribute authorities (AAs) obtain the blinded public attribute keys, pseudonyms involved in the $AID_{Cred}$ and then distributes corresponding private keys for the user. We use different pseudonyms of the user to resist the collusion attack launched by viciousAAs. In addition, we utilize IDM to cooperate with multiple authorities in producing consistent private key for the user to avoid the collusion attack launched by vicious users. The proposed CRPP-MACP-ABE scheme is proved secure. Some computation and communication costs in our scheme are finished in preparation phase (i.e. user registration). Compared with the existing schemes, our scheme is more efficient.

  • Recently, digital rights management (DRM) related researches are widely spreading with prosperity of IT industries. The DRM technology protects proprietor of copyright by preventing mischanneling and illegal copy. In this paper, we propose a new DRM model that has an enhanced and efficient protocol based on certificate using smart card. The proposed model overcomes weaknesses of WCDRM model and has following additional advantages: first, copy protection is enhanced by hiding user's specific information from attacker by storing the information within smart card; second, server load for contents encryption is reduced by making clear protocols among author, distributer, certificate authority, and users; third, offline user authentication is guaranteed by combining partial secret values in media players and smart card. Exposure of core information also is minimized by storing them in smart card. In addition, we show that the proposed system is more secure than WCDRM model by comparing various factors of anonymous attackers.
