  • The success or failure of businesses affected by the decision makers, when good decisions go in the direction of social development, the ability to be more successful, while one bad decision away contrary to the trend of social development are less likely to succeed. Today AHP method is widely used to solve critical problems in many areas of life. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a quantitative comparison method is used to select a preferred solution using comparable pairs of solutions based on their relative effectiveness against criteria. The purpose of this study is provide an overview of the application of hierarchical analysis methods to solve many different important issues in the field of supply chain management.

  • Technology-oriented national R&D programs produce intellectual property as their final result. Patents, as typical industrial intellectual property, are therefore considered an important factor when evaluating the outcome of R&D programs. Among the main components of patent evaluation, in particular, the patent right quality is a key component constituting patent value, together with marketability and usability. Current approaches for patent right quality evaluation rely mostly on intrinsic knowledge of patent attorneys, and the recent rapid increase of national R&D patents is making expert-based evaluation costly and time-consuming. Therefore, this study defines a hierarchy of patent right quality and then proposes how to quantify the evaluation process of patent right quality by combining text mining and regression analysis. This study will contribute to understanding of the systemic view of the patent right quality evaluation, as well as be an efficient aid for evaluating patents in R&D program assessment processes.

An Analysis of the Importance of the Success Factors in Implementation Stage of ERP System

  • This study analyzes the relative importance of the introducing factors for the critical success factors in the implementation stage of the lifecycle of ERP system using Delphi technique and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). In the 1st layer of the hierarchy, technical factor is evaluated as the most important factor among organizational, technical, and supplier factors. In the 2nd layer, choosing a proper ERP package is evaluated as the most important factor within 15 factors followed by process-oriented approach, technical suitability, minimized customization, integration and association of system with trading parter, association with legacy systems, and support and involvement of top management. As a result of this analysis enterprise should choose an ERP package that is suitable to its business environment, and make the best use of(take full advantage of) best practice that ERP package provides to optimize the existing business procedure or process(to approach the existing business procedure or process). This study also shows the range of customization of the features provided by the ERP package should be minimized.

  • The 37 indicators for performance evaluation of public sewage management agencies are divided into four major categories (agency manpower management ability, wastewater treatment plant operation and management, sludge and water reuse, service quality) in the first stage, and the necessity and score acquisition for the detailed indicators by each major category in the second stages. Priority was investigated through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis technique for ease and relevance of company efforts. Also, based on the results of this analysis, integrated type weighting and relative importance were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the weight and relative importance of the first stage classification were in the order of wastewater treatment plant operation and maintenance, operation agency manpower management ability, sludge and water reuse, and service quality. As a result of analyzing the weights and priorities of the detailed performance indicators in the second stage, it was found that operator's career years, the percentage of certification holding rate in operators, compliance with the effluent water quality standards, training times for operators, and efforts to manage hazardous chemicals were important. Some of the indicators of operation agency performance evaluation may include indicators in which the performance of the company's efforts is underestimated or overestimated. In order to improve this, it is necessary to give weights in consideration of the necessity of the indicator, the relevance of the company's efforts, and the ease of obtaining scores.

  • The building construction projects include a variety of risk factors due to uncertainties. To succeed in the projects, it is important how risks are managed. Risk management is composed of identification, analysis and response. Especially, the risk analysis is important to objectively calculate significance of risk factors. This paper evaluates a method to find priorities of risks using the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The method has some defects; (1) the consistency becomes weak as the number of pair-wise compared risks is large, and (2) the input and output procedures are complex when risks are added to or removed from a risk database. Thus the paper adopt the PROMETHEE(Preference Ranking Organization METHod Enrichment Evaluations) analysis process which is able to overcome the limitation of the AHP restricted to 9 risk factors. The PROMETHEE method makes the procedure of risk analysis simple, when the risk factors pull out and put in the risk database. The purpose of this study is to prove the possibility of the PROMETHEE analysis process by being compared with AHP.

  • This research focused on the priotity decision for establishment sriteria on the effects which environmental sculptures in urban area. The analysis performed in this study used the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) that is recognized as a useful decision-making tool to select and evaluate alternatives through pairwise comparison in the context of hierarchical decision structure. The results obtained from the analysis drawn by collecting the professional opinions of 5 experts for environmental sculptures are as follows: 1. The orders of establish criteria priorities on environmental sculptures were harmony of environment> symbol> public> function. The harmony of environment was the most important priority because it showed the highest weight of criteria. 2. The alternative priorities of environmental sculptures were the meaning of work>setting place> social contribution> physical quality .The meaning of work showed the highest change in the weight of alternative. 3.The sensitivity analysis of environmental sculptures demonstrated that the rate of change in the alternative priorities of the public was stabilized although the criteria importance varied, while the harmony of environment, the symbol intimated and function of priorities has their rates of weight changed if the criteria priorities were high.

AHP분석을 통한 지질도 및 주제도의 가치구성요소별 중요도 분석 (The Estimation of Weight of Attributes of Geological & Thematic Maps Using the AHP Method)

  • 지질도 및 지질주제도들은 자원개발, 사회간접시설, 환경보전, 보건, 국방, 학술 및 교육 등 다양한 용도로 활용되고 있으며, 경제, 사회적으로 다양한 편익을 유발하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 방법을 통해 지질도 및 주제도의 가치를 구성하는 요소를 검토, 분석하여 각 요소별 중요도의 계량적 결과를 제시하였다. 분석 결과 신뢰성이 가지는 가치의 비중이 50% 이상으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 편리성과 파급성은 $16%{\sim}30%$ 정도의 중요도를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 하위 속성은 대부분의 경우에서 측정 정보의 정확성이 차지하는 비중이 가장 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 한편, 지질도 및 주제도 사용량의 경우 대축척 도면의 사용량이 상대적으로 크게 증가할 것으로 나타났다.

Priority Factors of Service Recovery Strategy in Distribution Channel

  • In this study, we tried to evaluate the relative importance and find out the differences in consumer perceptions regarding service recovery strategies and the service provider in the distribution industry by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis method. Therefore in this study, we tried to systematize various recovery strategies which were considered very important during service failure process in the distribution industry and analyze the relative importance for each recovery strategy. We set hierarchy composed of four items of monetary, action-oriented, psychological, and assured level as primary selection criteria and a total of 16 items(indemnity, refund, gift, gift certificate, prompt resolution, exchange, manager support, explanation, apology, empathy, acknowledge, kindness, assortment, after service, manage subcontractor, manage employee) as secondary selection criteria. We tried to take one step further from the service sector and study service recovery strategies specialized in distributor services. This study suggests various implications about service recovery strategies of distributors. First, this study can provide practical implications - e.g. service recovery efforts should be applied differently depending on service channels. There is a perceptual difference with respect to the importance of the types of service recovery strategies between service provider and final customer. Second, we can find theoretical implications in terms of identifying the priorities through hierarchy design of new recovery strategies and comparison of each element from the classifications of the current fractional recovery strategies. We hope to help service providers to build more efficient recovery strategy system based on the results of this study.

  • 자동차 보유의 증가로 수도권 지역에서 인구가 출 퇴근하는 행태가 자동차이용형으로 급변하는 현실에서 자동차를 받아들일 수 있는 인프라가 대단히 열악하다. 교통수요관리 정책이 시행됨에도 불구하고 여전히 많은 통행이 나타나고 있으며, 이에 상응하는 국내 외 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현재 국내 외에서 시행되고 있는 교통수요관리 정책을 선정하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 설문조사를 바탕으로 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)분석을 수행하여 국내 외에서 시행되고 있는 교통수요관리 정책을 비교하여 우위를 정하고 이용자들이 느끼는 각 항목별 중요도와 만족도를 파악하였다. 또한 AHP분석 기법을 통하여 얻어낸 항목별 중요도와 만족도를 바탕으로 각 교통수요관리 정책 특성을 비교하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구를 통해 파악된 요인들로 현재의 현황을 분석하고 앞으로의 교통수요 정책 방향을 정립하여 향후 교통여건개선에 활용하고자 한다.

  • 정보통신기술의 급속한 발전은 벤처창업의 기회와 수많은 창업 아이템이 생겨나고 있다. 또한, 요즘과 같은 스마트폰 시대에는 수많은 위치기반 서비스들이 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 어떤 요인들이 스마트폰 환경의 위치기반 속성이 지속적 사용의도 선호도에 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 영향을 주는 요인들에 대하여 선호도 분석을 실행하였다. 즉 첫 번째 단계로, 기존의 경험적 연구들을 통해 이미 알려진 기준 속성들을 정보, 오락, 안전&긴급, 검색&추적 및 광고&상거래라는 5가지로 분류하였다. 두 번째 단계에서는 분류된 속성들 사이의 선호관계 분석을 AHP(analytic hierarchy process) 기법을 이용하여 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 위한 설문은 대전의 H 대학교 학생들을 대상으로 하였으며, 2014년 10월 11일부터 10월 25일 사이에 이루어졌다. 본 연구의 결과 여러 속성 중에 채팅(0.170)이 가장 높은 선호도를 갖는다는 사실을 보여주었다. 또한, 이러한 연구결과에 근거해 다양한 이론적 및 실증적 의미들이 제시되었다.
