Jazz derived from the blacks' work songs and made the frame of Jazz reaching blues and finally arrived at the recent time propagating itself as not only the blacks' music but all human being's music. This study has a purpose to suggest the Jazz image to the fashion design by examining the historical trace of Jazz which is one of popular music received by hearing sense. As for the result of the Jazz's effects by age, rhythmical beauty stressing dresses were in fashion by dance enjoying women in 1920's and dresses giving a mature atmosphere set the fashion in 1930's. in the beginning of 1990's, newly emerging Jazz was reflected to the popular culture along with the historical mode's fashion in the general society. The design's decided with two themes of Jazz Classic and Neo Fusion to modernly and naturally express the pursuit of strong color contrast which associated fast rhythm and lax image such as the counter melody of smooth Jazz. In that result, Jazz image with auditory feelings could suggest the various design motive and new idea to fashion design.

본 논문에서는 재즈 음악의 특징이라 할 수 있는 재즈 보컬의 즉흥연주 즉, 스캣의 연습 및 연출을 코드의 근음과 코드 톤을 응용한 접근 방법으로 제안하였다. 스캣은 악보에 표기 되어 있는 가사와 멜로디를 가창하지 않고 의미 없는 음절인 스캣 실러블을 이용하여 가창자의 역량에 맞추어 재창조한 음들로 솔로를 구사 한다. 이를 위해 코드의 근음을 이용하는 것은 재즈 보컬이 음악적 선율을 구성해 가는데 중요한 기준점이 된다. 가창 자는 그 기준점을 발전시켜 단순한 스캣에서 부터 점차 발전적이고 복잡한 구조의 스캣을 구사하며 다양한 음악적 표현과 교감을 표출할 수 있다. 즉흥연주로 연출하고자 하는 곡의 코트 톤 구성부터 베이스 라인의 연출과 베이스 스캣 그리고 코드 톤 아르페지오의 분석과 표현까지 스탠더드 재즈곡 '올 오브 미'를 중심으로 음악을 기능적으로 분석해 보았다. 본 논문에서는 다소 난해 하고 복잡해 보일 수 있는 재즈 보컬의 즉흥연주 또한 점진적인 접근 방법을 통해 비교적 손쉽게 구성 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

현대 대중음악의 뿌리는 블루스와 재즈 음악에서 발전 되어 왔다. 하지만 현재 다양한 멀티미디어 발달과 온라인 산업의 팽창으로 인해 이러한 전통적인 음악은 점차 대중들에게 외면되어지고 있다. 한 국가의 문화 척도를 가늠할 때 오로지 인기 있는 대중음악의 일부 장르만을 두고 그 가치를 평가하지는 않는다. 여러 선진 국가에서는 예술적인 가치를 가지고 있는 음악은 정부와 기업 등에서 보다 많은 저변 확대를 위해 지원하고 성장시키려고 노력하고 있으며 음악 산업 소비자들의 욕구를 충족시켜 주고 있다. 이러한 시기에 국내의 재즈 음악과 재즈 클럽은 댄스 음악, 록 음악과 발라드 음악으로 인하여 점차 그 설 자리를 잃어가고 있으며 단순히 시대의 흐름에서 소외되는 음악 장르가 아닌 우리가 발전시키고 제도적으로 키워나가야 하는 중요한 문화 예술의 한 부분임을 모두가 인식해야하며 보다 많은 방송 미디어에서 다루어 주고 대중에게 인지시켜야 한다. 본 논문은 소규모 시장이긴 하지만 한국 재즈 클럽 분석을 통해서 국내 재즈 음악의 발전과 재즈 클럽이 음악 산업의 한 부분으로서 자리매김할 수 있는 여러 요인들을 분석한다. 재즈 음악의 갖는 예술성과 대중성, 음악 교육 프로그램의 개발, 정부 주도의 공연 활성화, 방송 미디어의 재즈 음악 프로그램 운영과 차별화된 공연장 운영은 결국 많은 재즈 음악 애호가의 증가로 이어져 재즈 클럽의 발전으로 이어질 것이다. 또한 이러한 발전 방안을 통해 재즈 클럽이대중 문화 예술의 주요한 일부분으로 성공할 수 있기를 바란다.

본 연구는 재즈댄스 참가와 신체상 및 정신건강과의 관계를 규명하여 재즈댄스의 활성화에 기여하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 대상은 서울, 경기지역에 거주하는 만 18세 이상을 모집단으로 유의표집법(Purposive Sampling Method)을 이용하여 대학 교양수업, 문화센터, 스포츠 센타, 생활무용현장 등에서 총 183명을 분석대상으로 표집 하였다. 조사도구는 Jourard와 Secord(1954)가 개발한 신체적 만족척도(Body Cathexis Scale)를 수정 보완하여 6개요인 총39문항으로 재구성한 신체상과 Derogatis, Rickles와 Rock(1976)이 개발한 90개 문항의 정신 건강증상 체크리스트(SCL-90)를 한국 실정에 맞게 번역하여 제작한 김광일 등(1978)의 46개 질문지를 줄여 31개 문항 4개 요인으로 수정 재구성하여 사용하였다. 조사 분석은 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 회귀분석, 경로분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 재즈댄스 참가정도는 신체상에 영향을 미친다. 즉 재즈댄스 참가빈도가 높을 수 록 건강과 하체 신체상이 높다. 2. 재즈댄스 참가정도는 정신건강에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 참가기간이 길수록 대인예민증에, 참가빈도가 많을수록 신체화가 높다. 3. 재즈댄스 참가정도와 신체상 및 정신 건강과의 인과관계는 참가빈도는 건강과 하체, 신체화에, 그리고 신체상의 하체는 대인예민증, 적대감, 불안 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 신체상의 하체요인은 재즈댄스 참가빈도와 정신건강과의 관계에서 매개변수로 중요한 작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

In our daily life, we come across different types of information, for example in the format of multimedia and text. We all need different types of information for our common routines as watching/reading the news, listening to the radio, and watching different types of videos. However, sometimes we could run into problems when a certain type of information is required. For example, someone is listening to the radio and wants to listen to jazz, and unfortunately, all the radio channels play pop music mixed with advertisements. The listener gets stuck with pop music and gives up searching for jazz. So, the above example can be solved with an automatic audio classification system. Deep Learning (DL) models could make human life easy by using audio classifications, but it is expensive and difficult to deploy such models at edge devices like nano BLE sense raspberry pi, because these models require huge computational power like graphics processing unit (G.P.U), to solve the problem, we proposed DL model. In our proposed work, we had gone for a low complexity model for Audio Event Detection (AED), we extracted Mel-spectrograms of dimension 128×431×1 from audio signals and applied normalization. A total of 3 data augmentation methods were applied as follows: frequency masking, time masking, and mixup. In addition, we designed Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with spatial dropout, batch normalization, and separable 2D inspired by VGGnet [1]. In addition, we reduced the model size by using model quantization of float16 to the trained model. Experiments were conducted on the updated dataset provided by the Detection and Classification of Acoustic Events and Scenes (DCASE) 2020 challenge. We confirm that our model achieved a val_loss of 0.33 and an accuracy of 90.34% within the 132.50KB model size.

Indeterminancy is one of the thought systems which explains all things with not 'either-or' but 'both-and' the conditions and qualities of human identities and inner state. A view of the world of Dionisos of Nietzsche's and the character of Manneristic trend which has resolved the sense of alienation of men by paradoxic expression has succeeded to romanticism surrealism and postmodernism. 1. Cross-dressing has increased under contemporary conditions. There also have been various cross-dressing phenomena in the past but it appears strongly now that it would destroy the cultural stereotypes and give rise to the cultural insecurities in contemporary conditions. 2. The indeterminancy of status that is wealth versus poverty impacts on variations of contemporary dress. This has been represented by neglecting traditional code which is related to wealth in costume by conversion of the symbols of wealth and poverty as disguise with moderation simplicity and additionally poverty image instead of ostentation. 3. In the cultural aspect that is mother culture/ subculture the author has investigated black street fashion which has newly become visible. The black street fashion is wide spread in black popular music such as jazz Rhythm & Blues Reggae and Rap which is subculture against white. The external values of indeterminancy in fashion are n대-manneristic tendencies as deformation eclectic friction and irrational structure and graffiti method. The inner values by indeterminant expression in fashion are irony and paradox grotesque satire and amusement.

Art Deco is a decorative and eclectic design style, popularized at the interwar period. The term Art Deco derives from the Exposition Internationale des Arts D$\acute{e}$coratils et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925. The aim of the exposition was to create new modern aesthetics. This exposition introduced the modern decorative and industrial art to the world and influenced all designers of area, including architects, interior designers, industrial designers, craftsmen, fashion designers, etc. Art Deco designers applied inspirations from a variety of sources and movements such as the Cubist abstract, the Neoclassical refinement, Egyptian exotic elements, Babylonian and Aztec temples, the machine aesthetic, avant-garde movements, etc to their modern works. Art Deco style rapidly spread all over the design areas nationwide in America. In Art Deco architecture, in particular, its inception was French but its domination was American. Skyscrapers, airplanes, automobiles, ocean liners, jazz, Hollywood film, streamline, and native Indian symbols are the defining features of American Art Deco. This study began from questions on how these features are expressed and stylized to decoration elements as the modern aesthetics in American Art Deco architecture. Thus, the purpose of the study is to find out the ornamental and eclectic factors of Art Deco style and to define a concept of the modernity and the regionalism of Art Deco architecture in America. This article provides an overview of the decoration style of Art Deco architecture in America through the analysis of ornamental and eclectic factors reflecting diverse roots. It also analyzes the wide variety of building examples of American Art Deco which represent regionalism. In addition, this study focuses on Art Deco architecture in Miami, Florida. Miami is one of typical cities that has the most unique regional aspects of 1920's to 1940's in Art Deco architecture. Miami Art Deco architecture reveals the tropical and nautical references such as streamlined and curved walls, exotic animal motifs, flora and fauna motifs, and marine motifs: use of glass block, porthole window, terra-cotta, and pastel color stucco.

Among the styles of performing arts, perhaps the genre that has attracted the largest audience would be musical. Popularity of musical has brought diverse changes in our performing arts market, and, upon emerging another musical genre, called 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy,' it has been well-received by the audiences. 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy' is a word that are formed by merging two other terms such as 'Korean Traditional Music' and 'Musical (Comedy).' In the meantime, however, it has yet some problems in order to be defined as the genre that has concrete concepts. It is because the term such as Korean Traditional Musical Comedy was created being closely associated with a marketing purpose rather than a term that defines the characteristics of a genre of performing arts. Although this new musical genre has drawn attentions of many audiences by adding 'Musical Comedy' to 'Korean Traditional Music' that was not quite popular to the public, it still does not have any established forms so that there is a fine line between "Korean Traditional Musical Comedy" and another genre like traditional style folk opera ("Changgeuk"). Looking at the characteristics of the musical work called 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy, in general, first of all, it is a performance where music and drama are played. Here, the distinctive characteristic of this musical is that 'Korean Traditional Music' is sung. And the kinds of Korean traditional musics being sung are mainly Pansori (dramatic story-singing) and folk-songs, and, in most cases, Korean traditional musical instruments are being used as accompanying music. In this paper, the researcher investigated the aspects of experiment centering around Korean Musical Group, Taroo. These days, various experiments has been repeated not only for the works of Taroo but other musical work presently called 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy' also. Having encompassed overall performance factors including use of musical instruments, dance, acting, materials for drama as well as music in drama, the researcher has gone through experiments repeatedly. Meanwhile, however, the subject matters that make 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy' mostly attractive to the audiences are music and songs or sounds. ["Sori" also called "Chang" (唱)] Particularly, under the current situation of our musicals, the role of "Sori" is extremely important. The factor that plays absolutely most important role in acceptance and transformation of "Sori" is the created Pansori. Since the created Pansori is composed with new rhythmic patterns and new narrative poems, it tells the present story. Also it draws good responses from the audiences owing to easy conveyance of dialogues. And, its new style brings diversification to organization of musical instruments, so then this leads to the arrangements of music for Korean traditional music instruments, as well as instrumental music ensemble, orchestra, and jazz band, etc. Likewise, upon appearing creative musics in 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy,' professional music and vocal compositions have begun to emerge naturally. And, the song specialist and writer, of course, staffs including direction, lighting, and sounds, etc are required. That is, professional composition method are forced to be introduced to all areas. Other than this, there are many music pieces which are based on our unique songs and sounds ("Sori") and such traditional factors as use of lead singer for ceremony or chorus, and the method that puts weight on Pansori. Accordingly many things accomplished. However, it is required that 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy' go through numerous discussions and more experiments. Above all, the most important things are the role of actor and actress, and their changes, and training of actor and actress further. Good news is there are good audience responses. 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy' is an open genre. As musicals are divided into several domains according to the characteristics thereof, 'Korean Traditional Musical Comedy' will be able to show its distinctive features in various styles according to embodiment.
