This information technology is becoming a key to the change of human civilization through connecting people and objects on the earth. In addition, future information technology is becoming more intelligent and personalized with the development of computing technology, and due to the rapid development of alcohol, environment without time and space constraint is realized, Is spreading. Since existing portable storage media are made of physical form, there is a limit to usage due to the risk of loss and limitation of capacity. Cloud services can overcome these limitations. Due to the problems of existing storage media, it is possible to overcome the limitations of storing, managing and reusing information through cloud services. Despite the large number of cloud service users, the existing research has focused mainly on the concept of cloud service and the effect of introduction on the companies. This study aims to conduct a study on individual characteristics that affect the degree of cloud use. We will conduct research on the causes of IT knowledge, personal perception of security, convenience, innovation, economical trust, and platform dependency affecting the intention to use the cloud. These results show that the variables affecting individual 's use of cloud service are influenced by individuals, and this study can be used as a basic data for individuals to use cloud service.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the health care status and healthy life practices among hypertensive patients in our South Korea in a bid to provide some information on the efficient management of hypertension. Methods: The data of the fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey of 2011 (KNHANES V-2) was utilized to analyze the state of hypertension management of 1,932 adults who were at the Western age of 19 and up and suffered from hypertension in order to identify what factors were related to their health care status and healthy life practices. IBM SPSS/WIN Statistics 20 software was employed, and frequency analysis and a ${\chi}^2$-test were carried out. Results: According to the results of the analysis, subjective health status, depression, and suicidal thoughts were significantly related to variable income, while health status and healthy life practices were not significant in town. Furthermore Depression, alcohol dependency, and walking were significant in hypertension patients who had experienced hypertension education programs. Conclusion: This study will provide database on hypertension management. Furthermore, multidisciplinary approaches should be taken for efficient and effective care for hypertension patients.
The effect of some organic solvents on interrupting diapause of Bombyx mori eggs was examined to provide a clue to the mechanism of diapause initiation. Methyl alcohol and benzene proved to be efficient in developing the prospective diapause eggs upto the stage of hatching or body pigmentation of the embryos. On the other hand, most of the eggs soaked in chloroform and mixture solution of chloroform-methyl alcohol (2:1) died in the early embryonic developmental stage with yellow or red brown colours, and the egg weights decreased upto ca. 40% of the original weight 8 days after the treatments. Methyl alcohol treatment for 2, 5 and 10 min to the 5hr-old-eggs led to empergence of the larvae, with high incidence (70∼80%) in the race of Kumchu X Chonghwa and with low indidence (1∼4%) in Daezo. The effect of same treatment to 20hr old eggs decreased to ca. 10% in the emergence of larvae in Kumchn X Chonghwa and increased to 20∼30% in Daezo, while the effect disappeared shortly after the diapause initiation (48hr-old-eggs). Considering the high dependency upon the egg age of the sensitivity to solvents, it was supposed that initiation and termination of diapause may be controlled by different mechanism. It was also suspected that the solvents exert their effect on the permeability of the eggshell.
This study investigated subtypes of men who batter, and explored the differences among them. It was based on 217 subjects from all around the nation who received legal punishment. In the analysis of the typology, we specifically tested whether the Holtzworth-Munroe and Stuart proposed typology was verified. The results of the cluster analysis revealed support for their theoretical distinction for three types of abusers. These results imply that Holtzworth-Munroe and Stuart's batterer typology is applicable to Korean batterers to some degree. Type 1 men demonstrated the lowest levels of physical and psychological abuse toward their wives and were the least likely to have had a history of child abuse or alcohol problems. These men had lower MCMI scores and did not show any extraordinary personality traits. Men in this category were violent only against their wives, had relatively liberal sex role attitudes and had the most satisfaction in their intimate relationships. Type 2 men were violent only at home, using a moderate level of violence. These men had very high levels of dependency on others and showed a borderline, avoident or passive-aggressive personality. The amount of alcohol consumption was similar to Type 1, but scores of jealousy, self-esteem, and attitudinal variables were similar to Type 3 men. They lacked assertiveness skills and reported the least marital satisfaction. Type 3 men used the most severe violence and were violent both inside and outside the home. These men showed signs of antisocial and aggressive personality. They had experienced frequent physical abuse during childhood, were the most likely to abuse alcohol and had lower self-control. Type 3 were the most traditional in their views of women's roles and had attitudes supporting violence. Based upon the study findings, practical implications of enhancing treatment efficacy were considered.

This study aimed to investigate the relationships between depressed mood and life style patterns, including smoking, alcohol drinking, and physical inactivity in Koreans aged 40 years, which is a critical life transition period. Based on the Life Transition Period Health Examination at the Korea Association of Health Promotion conducted in 2011 (n=27,684), participants were categorized into a depressed mood group and a non-depressed mood group based on the results of the Primary Mental Health Questionnaire. The depressed mood group showed higher tendency for smoking compared to the non-depressed mood group. Current and ex-smokers were about twice as likely to have a depressed mood as the non-smokers. The prevalence of nicotine dependency was significantly higher in the depressed mood group. The number of days and amount of alcohol consumption were significantly correlated with depressed mood. The prevalence of alcohol dependence and alcohol abuse was higher in the depressed mood group than in the non-depressed mood group. The frequency of high-intensity exercise per week was negatively correlated with the number of people with a depressed mood. This study showed the significant relationships between depressed mood and smoking, alcohol drinking, and physical activity in adults during an important life transition period. This implies that the development of proper lifestyle intervention or education may be needed to prevent depressed moods in this age group.
This study aimed to identify success factors of smoking cessation for 6 months in Adolescent smokers. Data were collected from January to December, 2008. The 925 adolescent smokers were registered smoking cessation clinic at public health center in Incheon. Data(demographic, smoking, smoking cessation) were analyzed by logistic regression. Major factors are attempting to quit smoking(no trial, OR=9.48), alcohol drinking(yes, OR=4.61), information source for registration(family, friends's ask, OR=3.94), cessation methods(cognitive+behavior+ nicotine alternative therapy, OR=2.45), gender(male, OR=1.78), grade in school(high schooler, OR=1.65), expiration CO concentration (OR=0.95), and nicotine dependency(OR=0.76). Therefore, smoking cessation policy for adolescence should be emphasized on smoking prevention as well as smoking cessation. We have to help the adolescent to succeed in smoking cessation when they attempt to quit smoking at first time. Female student smokers and middle school smokers should be given advice for smoking cessation motives and more times of counselling for smoking cessation. If adolescent smokers have high expiration CO concentration and high nicotine dependency, they should not only take cognitive-behavior therapy but also nicotine alternative therapy.
Women's health is directly related to economic and developmental level of their nations, and it is very much effected by socio-cultural factors which are related to gender discrimination. women's health needs have been oppressed and neglected in male-dominated society. For maintenance and promotion in women's health and improve of quality of life, the common idea of gender discrimination in our society and preference of having son rather than daughter from its certain from must be banished. Though the common idea of gender discrimination was a basic ideology in liberation of women, recently the aspect of difference rather than discrimination is an important matter and unique characteristics of women are strongly pointed and additionally harmonic living with men is getting to be a man idea in women's health. The social idea in gender discrimination was from christian culture in the western society and confucianism related the social norms of "Namzonyobe" (means men are honorable and women are low), "Samzongzido" (means women ought to obey certain three rules for the family), "Chilgeziak" (means seven wickedness of housewife) in this country, korea. Those ideas deprived women's ability in health management and in the decision making process for their health. Because of those cultural influences, still many pregnant women are experiencing artificial abortion when they know the fetus is a girl through ultrasound and amniocentesis. Nowadays there are many health problems of women in korea. The reasons are that Korea culture has complicatedly mixing with confucianism and western culture. Under the these cultural influences, change in value of beauty and trend of liberation in sexuality have brought out health problems, alcohol, smoking, and drug abuse in young women. In order to solve the women's health problem, first of all women have to come out of the passive manner of dependency on man. Also they should have the insight and the management and/or intervention ability of caring their health. It can be obtained through the family-society-nation wide approach as well as the approach for women themselves.
Purpose: To investigate the work associated stress and nicotine dependence among law enforcement personnel in Mangalore, India. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted among law enforcement personnel in Mangalore, India. Demographic details, stress factors experienced at work and nicotine dependency were the variables studied. The extent of stress factors experienced at work was assessed using the Effort-Reward Imbalance scale (ERI). Nicotine dependence was measured using the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) and the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence-Smokeless Tobacco (FTND-ST). Logistic regression was used for the statistical analysis. Results: Three hundred and four law enforcement personnel participated in the study, among whom 68 had the presence of one or more habits like tobacco smoking, tobacco chewing and alcohol use. The mean effort score was $15.8{\pm}4.10$ and the mean reward and mean overcommitment scores were $36.4{\pm}7.09$ and $17.8{\pm}5.32$ respectively. Effort/Reward ratio for the total participants was 1.0073 and for those with nicotine habit was 1.0850. Results of our study demonstrated no significant association between domains of ERI scale and presence of habits but work associated stress was associated with the presence of one or more habits. Compared to constables, head constables had 1.12 times higher risk of having a nicotine habit. Conclusions: Our study implies job designation is associated with nicotine habits. However, there was no association between work associated stress and nicotine dependence among law enforcement personnel in Mangalore.
Objectives: Oropharynx tumors(oral cancer), are caused by tobacco, alcohol consumption, and high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV) infection. Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC) is the most common type of oral cancer and frequently arises from the mucosa of the oropharynx and oral cavity. Despite advances in the diagnosis and treatment(chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery) of oral cancer, over the past two decades, the overall survival rates remains at about 60%. Methods: We pretreated HSC-2 cells with various doses of exposed the cells to eugenol and then we measured cell viability by MTT assay. Results: Cell proliferation was markedly inhibited after eugenol treatment compared to the control. The majority of HSC-2 cells in the control groups showed normal morphology with round regular nuclei. In contrast, apoptotic bodies were seen in the 0.5 mM, 1 mM, 2 mM group. However, the pretreatment with eugenol increased HSC-2 cells apoptosis according to dose-dependency. PI staining quantitatively confirmed the anti-apoptotic effects of propofol. The expression levels of cleaved caspase 3, and Bak significantly increased in HSC-2 cells. Conclusions: These findings indicate that eugenol could be a potential anti-cancer agent for human OSCC and provide valuable data for the development of a novel anticancer strategy.
Objectives : This research aims to analyze the relationship between the state of mental illness and oral health management of mental patients in mental health care institutions. Methods : The data were randomly selected from 474 patients in mental health care institutions. and analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0 program. Results : Schizophrenia accounted for 79.5%(337 patients) ; alcohol dependency, 5.3%(25 patients) ; mental retardation, 2.7%(13 patients) ; mental development disorder, 3.0%(14 patients) ; mental delusion and dementia, 7.6%(36 patients). Those who were in 40s had the highest dental caries of 3.95 and the highest remaining teeth of 26.76 were shown in the 20s. The correlation between remaining teeth and mental retardation was the highest, measuring 22.38(p<.05). Those who were in 70s had the serious periodontal condition that accounted for 41.3%(12 patients)(p<.05). The correlation coefficient for all factors-dental caries, remaining teeth, need for scaling, and periodontal condition-between mental illness condition and oral health were all positive(p <.05). The regression analysis resulted in the formula Y(mental health condition)=2.999+0.166(dental aries)-0.028(remaining teeth). Conclusions : Those who had mental illness had very poor and serious dental caries and periodontal diseases, so it is necessary to manage the dental health care for the mentally ill patients.
