WCDMA를 이용한 간척지 하구의 염분 통합모니터링 시스템 (Integrated Automatic Salinity Monitoring System for the Reclaimed Land of Estuary With WCDMA)

  • 최근 간척사업으로 조성된 간척농경지의 영농에 있어 가장 빈번하게 발생하는 영농사고는 염수에 의한 농작물의 염해피해로 간척지를 농경지로 사용함에 있어 최우선적으로 선행되어야 할 과제는 제염화이다. 현재까지 간척지의 제염화를 위한 활발한 연구 및 기술개발이 진행되고 있으나, 현재의 기술로 단시간 내에 간척지를 제염화하는 것은 사실상 불가능한 실정이며, 간척농경지에 사용되는 관개용수 또한 대부분 간척으로 조성된 담수호나 조수간만의 영향을 받는 하구원의 수원을 염분 농도를 고려하지 않은 상태에서 이용하고 있어 기상조건, 배수갑문 오동작 등으로 인한 염분농도 상승에 의해 피해가 발생되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 WCDMA 모듈을 이용하여 외부 서버로 데이터를 전송을 수신받아 실시간으로 현재 염분 수치가 실시간으로 증가되는 그래프를 구현하였으며, 또한 일정 수치이상으로 올라가면 경보음을 알릴뿐만 아니라, 데이터가 실시간으로 저장되 사용자가 다시 확인할 수 있는 실시간 염분 모니터링 시스템을 구현 하였다.

Experimental Study on Temperature Dependence of Nitrate Sensing using an ISE-based On-site Water Monitoring System

  • Recently, environmental problems have become an area of growing interests. In-situ monitoring of water quality is fundamental to most environmental applications. The accurate measurement of nitrate concentrations is fundamental to understanding biogeochemistry in aquatic ecosystems. Several studies have reported that one of the most feasible methods to measure nitrate concentration is the use of Ion Selective-electrodes (ISEs). The ISE application to water monitoring has several advantages, such as direct measurement methodology, high sensitivity, wide measurement range, low cost, and portability. However, the ISE methods may yield inconsistent results where there was a difference in temperature between the calibration and measurement solutions, which is associated with the temperature dependence of ionic activity coefficients in solution. In this study, to investigate the potential of using the combination of a temperature sensor and nitrate ISEs for minimizing the effect of temperature on real-time nitrate sensing in natural water, a prototype of on-site water monitoring system was built, mainly consisting of a sensor chamber, an array of 3 ISEs, an waterproof temperature sensor, an automatic sampling system, and an arduino MCU board. The analog signals of ISEs were obtained using the second-order Sallen-key filter for performing voltage following, differential amplification, and low pass filtering. The performance test of the developed water nitrate sensing system was conducted in a monitoring station of drinking water located in Jeongseon, Kangwon. A temperature compensation method based on two-point normalization was proposed, which incorporated the determination of temperature coefficient values using regression equations relating solution temperature and electrode signal determined in our previous studies.

경사밭 고랑멀칭 방법에 따른 비점오염 저감효과 평가 (Evaluation of Furrow Mulching Methods for Controlling Non-Point Source Pollution Load from a Sloped Upland)

  • South Korea's agricultural nitrogen balance and phosphorus balance rank first and second, respectively, among OECD countries, and proper nutrient management is required to preserve the water quality of rivers and lakes. This study evaluates the effects of furrow mulching on the reduction of non-point source pollution (NPS) load from a sloped upland. The study site was Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, and the survey period was from 2018 to 2019. The slope of the testbed was 13%, and the soil type was sandy loam. The cropping system consisted of maize-autumn Chinese cabbage rotation. The testbed was composed of bare soil (bare), control (Cont.), furrow vegetation mulching (FVM), and furrow nonwoven fabric mulching (FFM) plots. Runoff was collected for each rainfall event with a 1/100 sampler, and the NPS load was calculated by measuring the concentrations of SS, T-N, and T-P. The NPS load was then analyzed for the entire monitoring and crop cultivation periods. During the monitoring period, the effect of reducing the NPS load was 1.5%~44.5% for FVM and 13.1%~55.2% for FFM. During the crop cultivation period, it was 1.2%~80.5% for FVM and 27.0%~65.1% for FFM, indicating that FFM was more effective than FVM. As the NPS load was fairly high during the crop conversion period, an appropriate management method needs to be implemented during this period.

시설재배지에서 기수담수화시스템 적용에 따른 토양 환경 및 애호박의 생육 영향 분석 (Effects of the Brackish Water Desalination System on Soil Environment and Growth in Squash Greenhouse Cultivation Area)

  • The objectives of the research were 1) to develop the low-cost and high efficient desalination system to treat brackish water having high salt contents for irrigation at greenhouses near coast, and 2) to monitor and assess the effects of the brackish water desalination system on soil environment and growth in squash greenhouse cultivation area. The monitoring site was one of the squash greenhouse cultivation farm at Choengam-ri, Jinsang-myun, Gwangyang-si, Jeonnam-Do Monitoring results for groundwater irrigation water quality, and salinity showed a remarkable difference between control and treatment group. The salinity of soil at treatment group was less than at control group. While, the system made possible to increase the squash quantity from 4.7 ea to 6.3 ea at each and the average weight of the harvested squash was increased from 277.2 g to 295.1 g. The applied brackish water desalination system may be appled to reclaim sea or brackish irrigated area as alternative water resources, although long-term monitoring is needed to get more representative results at different level of salinity.

전라북도 물이용 체계 및 과제(만경강과 동진강 중심으로) (Status of Water Infrastructure and Future Tasks in Jeollabuk-do Province(Focussed on the Mangyeong River and Dongjin River))

  • Mangyeong River and Dongjin River are highly dependent on external regions for domestic and agricultural water, and the agricultural water supply and use system of those rivers are very complicated. For smooth water supply, rivers are used as a supply system. Of the total river water use permits (as of 2019), agricultural water accounts for 97.5%, 80.4% in Mangyeong River and Dongjin River, respectively. The excessive intake of river water as agricultural purpose is causing the stream to dry out and to deteriorate the ecological health of the river. It is necessary to minimize the water use system that takes in and utilizes river water. In both rivers, the flow rate of agricultural drainage and the load of major water quality items that flowing into the main stream are similar to or higher than those of the major tributaries, indicating that management is necessary to improve the water quality of the river. It is necessary to understand the effect of agricultural drainage on river water quality by establishing a continuous monitoring system for the form of agricultural drainage.

IT융합 기반의 생장환경 모니터링 시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of the Growth Environment Monitoring System Based on IT Convergence)

  • 본 논문은 농축산물의 생장환경을 모니터링 하여 농축산물의 생산을 증대시킬 수 있도록 생장환경관리 모니터링 시스템을 설계, 구현에 관한 것이다. IT융합기술을 기반으로 한, 생장환경 모니터링 시스템은 4가지의 구성요소로 이루어져 있다. 환경 인자에 대한 센싱을 담당하는 센서노드, 센서와 통신을 담당하는 싱크노드, 관제 시스템과 연결기능을 수행하는 게이트웨이 및 관제 소프트웨어이다. 이를 통하여 환경인자인 온도 및 습도에 대한 관제과정을 수행하여 각각에 대해서 편차값 10%의 범위를 유지하는 최적의 생장 환경을 유지할 수 있었다.

기계시각을 이용한 고단 직립식 산란계 케이지의 유선 감시시스템 개발 (Development of Wired Monitoring System for Layers Rearing in Muti-tier Layers Battery by Machine Vision)

  • This research was conducted to design and develop a wired monitoring system for judging if sick or dead layers (SDL) exist in multi-tier layers battery (MLB) by machine vision, and to analyze its performance. In this study, 20 Brown Leghorn (Hi-Brown) layers aged 37 weeks old, were used as the experimental animals. The intensity of concern paid by layers on feed was over 90% during 5 minutes and 30 seconds after providing feed, and normal layers (NL) had been standing to take feed for that period. Therefore, in this study, the optimal judging time was set by this test result. The wired monitoring system developed was consisted of a driving device for carrying machine vision systems, a control program, a RS232 to RS485 convertor, an automatic positioning system, and an image capture system. An image processing algorithm was developed to find SDL in MLB by the processes of binary processing, erosion, expansion, labeling, and reckoning central coordinate of the captured images. The optimal velocity for driving unit was set up as 0.13 m/s by the test results for wired monitoring system, and the proximity switch was controlled not to be operated for 1.0 second after first image captured. The wired monitoring system developed was tested to evaluate the remote monitoring performance at lab-scale laying hen house. Results showed that its judgement success.ate on normal cage (without SDL) was 87% and that on abnormal cage (with SDL) was 90%, respectively. Therefore, it would be concluded that the wired monitoring system developed in this study was well suited to the purpose of this study.

국가중요농업유산의 보전관리를 위한 정책 제안 연구 (A Proposal for Conservation and Management Policy on Korea's Important Agricultural Heritage)

  • 농림축산식품부는 2012년부터 국가중요농업유산을 지정하여, 농촌지역에 보전가치가 있는 농업유산을 보전하고 있다. 이러한 노력으로 국가중요농업유산 7개를 지정하였고, 세계중요농업유산 2개를 등재시키는 성과를 거두었다. 농업유산제도가 도입된 초기와 현재의 정책 환경은 많은 변화가 일어났다. 이에 농업유산 정책 현황을 살피고, 농업유산 정책의 환경 변화를 분석하였다. 그 결과 농업유산 자원 발굴의 미흡, 농업유산 모니터링 관심 증가, 농업유산 활용을 통한 농촌 활성화 기대, 농업유산 보전 관리 예산 부족이라는 정책 환경 변화를 도출하였다. 이렇게 도출된 변화를 반영한 농업유산 보전 관리 정책으로 농업유산 보전 관리체계 확립, 국가중요농업유산 지정기준 완화, 농업유산 모니터링 의무화, 농업유산 브랜드 강화, 농업유산 보전관리를 위한 예산 확대를 제안하였다. 이렇게 제안된 정책을 통해 농업유산 자원의 폭넓은 발굴과 지정이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 보전 관리 및 활용을 통해 농민은 농업유산을 이용한 농업활동을 유지할 수 있을 것이며, 가치 있는 농업유산이 후대에 계승될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 정보화는 산업, 문화, 환경 등 많은 부분에서 변화와 발전의 원동력이 되었다. 정보화 기술의 가속화를 기반으로 U-시대로 발전하고 있는 현재 우리 사회는 RFID/USN기술을 적용한 산업 및 생활환경의 변화가 요구되고 있는 시점이다. U-city, U-eco, 모니터링시스템, 유통 및 물류의 위치추적 시스템 등 U-IT 발전은 RFID/USN 기술이 핵심이다. 농업분야 즉 농작물 재배부터 생산, 운송, 유통 등 많은 부분에서 RFID/USN기술 적용이 연구되고 있다. 본 연구는 RFID/USN기술 도입 전 후의 농작물이력추적시스템에 대한 사례 분석을 통해 국내 농작물이력추적시스템의 문제점 및 대안을 제시하고, 동시에 RFID/USN기술을 이용한 국내 농산물이력추적 활성화 방안을 제시한다.

현장계측에 의한 연약지반 성토의 안정관리 기법 (Stabuility Evaluation Methods of Soft Clay under Embankment by Field Monitoring)

  • A series of field tests were performed to suggest a rational method for the stability evaluation of soft clay. The behavior of settlement-displacement obtained by field monitoring system was used to compare and analyze with various stability evaluation methods, and to investigate the applicability of the methods for stability evaluation of soft clay. The limit equilibrium method, numerical analysis and field monitoring methods were used to analyze the stability evaluation. The horizontal displacement was abruptly increased when physicla properties of soft clay reached its maximum values and therefore, the values of these properties could be used to the fundamental data for stability evaluation. The evaluation of the stability of clay embankment was suggested to use inclination of ccrve rather than critical line, and the minimum satey factor of 1.2 or larger for natural clay was recommeded . Therefore, the evaluation of short term stability of soft clay could be effectively peformed with the hypefrbolic model and the field monitored data.
