Protective Effect of Ag Coated on Textured YBCO Surface

  • Ag coating on the textured YBCO was prepared by means of a Ag$_2$O brushed coating method. The contact between Ag coating and textured YBCO was examined by sharp knife cut and by the observation of SEM. The critical current densities of different textured YBCO samples, which included YBCO with and without Ag coating, and YBCO with Ag coating after hot moist text, were compared. The Ag coating does not influence the oxygen absorption of textured YBCO, but Ag coating can protect YBCO well from moisture and $CO_2$

유연기판 위에 제작된 Silver Nanowire 필름의 기계 및 전기적 신뢰성 연구 (Mechanical and Electrical Reliability of Silver Nanowire Film on Flexible Substrate)

  • 본 논문에서는 AgNW 필름의 기계적 전기적 신뢰성을 연구하였다. 특히 전류가 흐르는 상태에서 굽힘 변형이 발생하였을 때의 AgNW 필름의 내구성 및 신뢰성을 연구하였다. AgNW 필름의 전압 및 전류 시험을 수행하여, AgNW에서 발생하는 발열과 전류 밀도의 변화를 관찰함으로써 AgNW의 전기적 내구성을 평가하였다. AgNW는 곡률반경 2 mm까지 굽힐 수 있었으며, 200,000회의 굽힘 반복시험에도 높은 신뢰성 및 유연성을 보여주었다. 또한 over-coating 막은 AgNW 필름의 내구성을 향상시키는 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. Over-coating이 없는 AgNW 필름의 경우, AgNW 표면에서 국부적인 발열을 보인 반면에 over-coating이 된 AgNW 필름의 경우 균일하게 발열되어 over-coating막이 AgNW 필름의 내구성을 향상시킴을 알 수 있었다. 전류를 인가한 상태에서의 굽힘 시험을 수행한 결과 굽힘 반복시험에서는 전류밀도가 지속적으로 감소하여 시험 후, 52.4%의 전류밀도 감소를 보였다. 전류가 인가된 상태에서 AgNW의 굽힘 변형이 지속되면 AgNW들의 인장, 굽힘 및 sliding 등의 기계적인 변형에 의하여 AgNW network 구조의 변형이 발생하거나, 혹은 개별 AgNW의 접촉 접합부들이 떨어지면서 접촉저항이 증가하여 주울 열에 의하여 파괴가 발생한다. 또한 over-coating막의 적용은 AgNW 필름의 전기적 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

피복제 적하법에 의한 Ag 피복 Cu 미립자의 제조 및 광학적 특성 (Preparation and Optical Properties of Ag-Coated Cu Powder by Dropping Method of Coating Agent)

  • Ag-coated Cu particles were prepared by dropping method of coating agent and were evaluated by scanning electron microscope and color difference meter. The shape of Cu particles having obvious crystal plan and edge was changed spherically according to the increase of Ag coating amount. When the Ag coating amount was 50 wt% to Cu particles, the whiteness of Ag-coated Cu particles was almost similar to that of pure Ag particles. Adding $NH_4$OH in reductant solution could increase effectively the whiteness of the Ag-coated particles. The Ag-coated particles having the highest whiteness was obtained when the content of hydrazine in reductant solution was 0.48 M.

무전해 도금에 의해 성장되어진 은 나노결정의 반사율 특성 (Reflectivity characteristics of Ag nano-crystals grown by electroless plating)

  • 본 연구에서는 LCD 또는 LED를 이용한 디스플레이 장치의 BLU 반사판으로 사용할 목적으로 무전해도금에 의하여 플라스틱 기판위에 성장되어진 은 나노코팅의 반사율 특성을 조사하였다. 은 나노코팅의 미세구조는 아주 미세한 나노크기의 은 결정들로 이루어진 다결정 나노코팅인 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 코팅 층의 두께가 증가함에 따라 환원, 석출된 은 나노결정입자의 크기도 비례하여 증가되었다. 은 나노코팅의 두께가 증가함에 따라 가시광선 영역의 반사율이 감소하였으며 파장이 짧을수록 반사율의 감소가 더 심하였다. 나노코팅의 두께 증가에 따른 반사율의 감소는 환원 석출된 은나노결정의 크기와 밀접하게 관련된 것으로 은 결정입자가 클수록 요철의 정도가 심하여 반사율이 감소하는 것으로 생각되어진다. 그래서 가능한 미세한 은 나노결정을 환원, 석출시키고 코팅두께를 얇게 하는 것이 반사율 관점에서 바람직한 것으로 판단되어진다.

  • Ag coating on the textured YBCO and PTFE coating on the sintering YBCO were prepared. The critical current densities of different YBCO samples with and without coatings were compared. Both of Ag coating and PTFE coating can well protect YBCO from moisture and $CO_2$.

  • RF magnetron sputtering법에 의해 단상의 하이드록시아파타이트와 하이드록시아파타이트은 복합코팅층을 ZrO$_2$와 Si 웨이퍼 기판에 코팅하였다. 이들 코팅층들의 두께 0.7∼1.0$\mu\textrm{m}$ 범위였으며 또한 거칠기(roughness)는 3∼4nm였다. 열처리된 HAp 코팅층은 나노크기의 결정들로 구성되어 있었으며, 반면 Ag가 함유된 복합코팅층의 경우 결정질과 비결정질이 혼재되어 있었다. 열처리 전 HAp 코팅층의 Ca/P비는 1.9였고, Ag의 함량이 증가함에 따라 비는 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 Ag 함량이 증가함에 따라 HAp코팅층의 미소 경도는 감소하였다.

AIP법으로 형성된 TiAgN 코팅필름의 바이어스전압에 따른 표면 특성 분석 (Surface Characterization According to the Bias Voltage of the TiAgN Coating Film Layer Formed by the AIP Process)

  • The implanting of metal products is performed with numerous surface treatments because of toxicity and adhesion. Recently, the surface modification of metal products has been actively studied by coating the surface of the TiC or TiN film. We prepared a Ti(10%)Ag Target which may be used in dental oral material by, using the AIP(arc ion plating) system TiAgN coating layer that was deposited on Ti g.23. The purpose of this study was to establish the optimal bias voltage conditions of the coated TiAgN layer formed by the AIP process. The TiAgN coatings were prepared with different bias voltage parameters (0V to -500V) to investigate the effect of bias voltage on their mechanical and chemical properties. The SEM(scanning electron microscope), EDS(energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer), XRD(X-ray diffraction), micro-hardness, and potentiodynamic polarization were measured and the surface characteristics of the TiAgN coating layers were evaluated. The TiAgN coating layer had different mechanical characteristics based on the bias voltage, which also showed differences in thickness and composition.

Pd-Ag 및 Ni-Cr 합금의 금 전착이 전장 레진의 색채에 미치는 영향 (EFFECT OF GOLD ELECTRODEPOSIT OF PD-AG, NI-CR ALLOYS ON THE COLOR OF VENERRED RESIN)

  • As the mechanical property of composite resin improved, composite resin has been widely used esthetic dentistry. In the field of esthetic dentistry, the color of prosthetic material is very important. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the color difference of specimens, by the types of alloys and gold electrodeposit. Experimental groups were as follows : Group Prec : Au-Pt alloy with no gold coating and no resin veneer. Group Semi : Pd-Ag alloy with no gold coating and no resin veneer. Group BAse : Ni-Cr alloy with no gold coating and no resin veneer. Group Gsem : Pd-Ag alloy with no gold coating and no resin veneer. Group Gbas : Ni-Cr alloy with no gold coating and no resin veneer. Group PreR : Resin veneer on the Pd-Ag alloy without gold coating. Group SemR : Resin veneer on the Pd-Ag alloy without gold coating. Group GbsR : Resin veneer on the Ni-Cr alloy with gold coating Group BasR : Resin veneer on the Ni-Cr alloy without gold coating. In this study, colors of metal surfaces and veneered resins were evaluated by the CIE $L^{*}a^{*}b$ system. The results obtained were as follows : 1. different alloy types and gold coating make the $L^{*}a^{*}b$ system. 2. The ${\Delta}E^*$ab value between groups semi and Base was less than 1.5 and there was no $a^*$ and $b^*$ value difference between groups Gsem and Gbas 3. The values of $L^*$ and $a^*$ ain groups GsemR and GbasR were so similar that the ${\Delta}E^*$ab value was as small as 0.58. 4. In resin specimens with gold coated semiprecious or base alloys showed yellower and redder deviation than the resin specimens with precious alloy. 5. The ${\Delta}E^*$ab values between goups PreR-GsemR and groups PreR-GbasR were as small as 2.68 and 2.22 respectively.

Shear-coating을 사용한 은 나노와이어 투명 전극 제조 및 특성 분석 (Preparation and characterization of silver nanowire transparent electrodes using shear-coating)

  • Indium tin oxide (ITO) used a transparent electrode of a photoelectric device has a low sheet resistance and a high transmittance. However, ITO is disadvantageous in that the process cost is expensive, and the process time is long. Silver nanowires (AgNWs) transparent electrodes are based on a low cost solution process. In addition, it has attracted attention as a next-generation transparent electrode material that replaces ITO because it has similar electrical and optical characteristic to ITO, it is noted as a. AgNW thin films are mainly produced by spin-coating. However, the spin-coating process has a disadvantage of high material loss. In this study, the material loss was reduced by using about 2~10 ㎕ of AgNW solution on a (25 × 25) ㎟ substrate using the shear-coating method. It was also possible to align AgNWs in the drag direction by dragging the meniscus of the solution. The electro-optical properties of the AgNW thin film were adjusted by changing the experimental parameters that the amount of AgNWs suspension, the gap between the substrate and the blade, and the coating speed. As a result, AgNW thin films with a transmittance of 90.7 % at a wavelength of 550 nm and a sheet resistance of 15 Ω/□ was deposited and exhibited similar properties to similar AgNW transparent electrodes studied by other researchers.

SEM 내부에 설치된 트라이보 시험기를 통한 금속 코팅의 실시간 마찰/마모 특성 분석 (Real Time Analysis of Friction/Wear Characteristics of Metal Coatings with a Tribo-tester Installed in an SEM)

  • This study aims to visualize the friction and wear behaviors of metal coatings in real time. The main mechanism of wear is identified by observing all the processes in which wear occurs. The friction coefficients of the moments are monitored to confirm the relationship between the friction and wear characteristics of the coating. Thin Ag coatings, which are several hundred nanometers in thickness, are prepared by depositing Ag atoms on silicon substrates through a sputtering method. A pin-on-disk-type tribo-tester is installed inside a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to evaluate the friction and wear characteristics of the Ag coating. A fine diamond pin is brought into contact with the Ag coating surface, and a load of 20 mN is applied. The contact pressure is calculated to be approximately 15 GPa. The moments of wear caused by the sliding motion are visualized, and the changes in the friction characteristics according to each step of wear generation are monitored. The Ag coating can be confirmed to exhibit a wear phenomenon by gradually peeling off the surface of the coating on observing the friction and wear characteristics of the coating in real time inside the SEM. This can be explained by a typical plowing-type wear mechanism.
