다차원척도법을 활용한 지역 간 대중교통 수단들의 유사성에 관한 연구: 간선열차를 중심으로 (Multidimensional Scaling Analysis of Inter-regional Public Transit Services: Focusing on Inter-regional Railways)

  • 지속적인 경제성장에 더불어 지역 활성화 정책이 시행되면서 지역 간 통행수요가 증가하고 있으며, 이를 다양한 교통수단이 분담하고 있다. 교통 분야에서 저탄소 녹색성장이 강조되면서 친환경 교통수단인 간선열차로 통행수요의 전환을 유도하려는 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 이를 위하여 간선열차와 경쟁적 위치에 있는 대중교통수단들에 대한 승객들의 인식 파악 및 간선열차의 경쟁력 강화 방안에 대한 연구는 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 6개의 대표적 지역 간 대중교통수단(KTX, ITX-새마을, 무궁화, 우등고속버스, 일반고속버스, 항공기)이 제공하는 서비스 특성에 대한 유사성을 다차원척도 분석을 실시하여 2차원 공간상에 개념적 거리로 표현하고 승객들의 수단 간 유사성 인식정도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과를 통하여 지역 간 대중교통 수단들에 대한 경쟁관계를 파악할 수 있었으며, 이를 통하여 간선열차가 상대적 경쟁우위를 선점하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 안전관리를 위해 정량화된 데이터를 바탕으로 통계기법을 통해 분석, 해석, 관리하는 기법은 제조업에서 수행하고 있는 6시그마 혁신운동과 거의 유사한 절차를 통해 수행되므로 철도안전관리에 있어서도 이러한 기법을 도입 하여 정량화된 관리기법이 도입되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 경영혁신운동인 6시그마와 철도안전관리의 차이점에도 불구하고 제조업에서 성공적으로 활용하고 있는 6시그마 기법들을 철도안전에 적용할 수 있는 방안을 모색함으로써 일부 안전관리 과정에서 해결하지 못하거나 많은 어려움이 존재하고 있는 부분에 대한 해결책을 찾아 효율적이고 체계적인 철도안전관리에 일조하고자 한다.

  • This paper is described that advanced study on network design of remote diagnosis system for power facilities of electric railway. In the field, it is very difficult for worker to diagnosis power facilities including catenary because workers should be maintenance on AC power supply. Therefore, to properly design on remote diagnosis system, we have searched the inside and outside of the country-related technology trends. Also we confirmed that required technologies to design interface technology required for the development of sensor devices and the USN network was designed in accordance with required skills. Throughout variety of requirements, we have development iRFS based ZA sensors and iRFM to receive data of sensor. Also CC2420 is applied as single-chip which used 2.4GHz IEEE802.15.4 compliant RF tranciver designed for low-power and low-voltage wireless applications for ZigBee communication.

  • In the respect of energy saving and reusing, it is necessary to reduce greenhouse gases emission and to enhance the operation efficiency in electric railway system. Recently, as the power electronics technologies are advanced, some countries have focused on the regenerative inverter to use regeneration energy on each line. When the electric tractions are stopped or slowed down, it is useful to supply the surplus energy to the power source by regenerative system, which increases its energy efficiency. Also, the generated energy can be supply to other tractions or equipments inside traction. Thus, it may help reduce construction cost of additional power plants. The purpose of this study is to describe the development status of the regenerative inverter system which suppress extra DC-line voltage and regenerate the energy instead of using a resister.

  • The dynamics of the interaction between the wheel and rail must be considered when investigating the application of control strategy to a traction motor for high speed railway system. So this paper describes a dynamics model of the wheel rail adhesion characteristics and simple adhesion control strategy. Simulations are performed on the model of korea-high speed railway system using SIMULINK. With simple adhesion control strategy advanced characteristics of the system is showed in aspects of driveability.

  • Recently the construction of stations under railway lines and railway sections passing through central area of cities are increasing, calling for an urgent establishment of countermeasures against railway vibration and its subsequent second-phase noise. Of technology developed up to now, the most efficient countermeasure is the floating slab track, a track system isolated from the sub-structure by springs. Unfortunately, however, the system design technology and technology for key components have not yet developed in Korea. As such, in this study, the analysis and design technology of floating slab track and its vibration isolator technology can be achieved. In preparation for future demands, it is expected to raise awareness for the need of technology self-support and to make a meaningful contribution to mitigating vibration and noise produced by the next-generation high-speed railway.

Stochastic Channel Modeling for Railway Tunnel Scenarios at 25 GHz

  • More people prefer using rail traffic for travel or for commuting owing to its convenience and flexibility. The railway scenario has become an important communication scenario in the fifth generation era. The communication system should be designed to support high-data-rate demands with seamless connectivity at a high mobility. In this paper, the channel characteristics are studied and modeled for the railway tunnel scenario with straight and curved route shapes. On the basis of measurements using the "Mobile Hotspot Network" system, a three-dimensional ray tracer (RT) is calibrated and validated for the target scenarios. More channel characteristics are explored via RT simulations at 25.25 GHz with a 500-MHz bandwidth. The key channel parameters are extracted, provided, and incorporated into a 3rd-Generation-Partnership-Project-like stochastic channel generator. The necessary channel information can be practically realized, which can support the link-level and system-level design of the communication system in similar scenarios.

  • The Railroad that is representative transportation of Low Coal and Green Growth is industry that meet and serve unspecificness many customer unexpensive price as industry doing against as social overhead capital. Present our country railroad achievement is real condition that is not coming out in eternal in the red management. Accordingly, In this research, analyze success factor of management black-ink balance of railroad advanced nation such as Japan, France and Compare with our country and grasps problem of present city railroad fare system. Finally, alleviate fare burden of customer through diversification of fare system service such as establishing point uniformly for railroad fare that introduce first in Japan JR Kyushu railroad and propose the improvement of management of railway operation organization through demand enlargement.

  • Nowadays, the more speedy and functional railway vehicles are required by customers, the more broad boundary conitions of train's running are present. At this condtion, it is difficult for the traditional concept of suspension system which has the constant characteristics dependant on the running condition to meet the advenced requirements such as high ride quality. So, the active suspension should be designed to supplied the optimized suspensnion condition actively and to perform the optimal ride quality on the irregula running condition such as on the enterance or exitance of the tunnel or on the crossing the high speed train each others. On this study, the train dynamic model, integration of active suspension system, and the control logic would be proposed, and the advanced performace of train would be shown though the simulation tests.

  • Present periodic maintenance activities are carried on electric rolling stock in Korea based on predetermined inspection intervals. And this can be seen as a first generation of maintenance techniques without taking into consideration a degree of aging or degradation of the componets. In this study, we have analyzed the current status of maintenance being used in the techniques in various activities such as overseas railway operation organization, and good cases for the advanced country's maintenance system being carried out effectively. Based on the analysis, we would derive implications for efficient application and improvement guidance of maintenance system in electric rolling stock.
