한국 성인 여성의 연령대별 체형변화에 대한 연구 (The Change Pattern of Body Shape on Chronological Age in Korea Adult Women)

  • In this study, change trends and specific times for change in body size were sought to be identified by using manual measurements for Korean adult women at 20 to 89 of age, along with examinations of change trends and specific times of change in body shape based on body index values. The examinations of means, deviations, and variation coefficients revealed that there was a tendency of most height related measures to decrease. In addition, combined with decrease in height, growth in weight led to increased BMI, thus resulting in increase in measures of circumference, thickness, and breadth in the torso area. The BMI trends showed that with increasing age, BMI increased, reaching the peak between the ages of 55 and 59 and then decreasing from 64 of age, with the steepest increase in BMI at ages from 50 to 54. The examination of differences in the body flatness ratio for different parts of body found that with increasing age the ratio decreased, indicating a tendency for gradual change to round body shapes. The analysis of 3D body shape found that there were more back-bends and lowered shoulder levels with age, accompanied with a tendency for more bended legs and more inclined-forward necks. The key trends in changes in body measurements by age and detailed estimates of 3D standard body shape drawn out from this study are expected to significantly contribute to establishing a basic database for generating patterns reflecting age features of Korean adult females.

자아존중감 및 성인애착이 SNS 중독경향성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Self Esteem and Adult Attachment on SNS(Social Network Service) Addiction Tendency)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 SNS 중독 경향성 실태를 파악하고, 인구통계학적 특성과 자아존중감 및 성인애착 중 불안정 애착(애착불안, 애착 회피)이 SNS 중독경향성과의 관계를 조사하고자 하였다. 대학생의 SNS 중독경향성에 미치는 영향 요인을 파악하기 위해, 수도권 4년제 대학교 재학생 330명을 오프라인과 온라인 질문지를 통하여 조사하였고, 그 중 유효한 271명을 분석하였다. 분석에는 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 변량분석, Pearson의 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 87.4%가 SNS를 사용하고 있었고, 주로 사용하는 SNS는 '페이스북(82.3%)'이었다. 일별 SNS 사용시간은 '1시간 이상~2시간 미만(24.7%)'가 가장 많았다. 둘째, 여성이 남성보다 SNS중독경향성이 유의미하게 높았다. 셋째, 자아존중감과 SNS 중독경향성은 유의미한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 성인애착의 불안정 애착 중에 애착불안와 애착회피는 SNS 중독경향성과 정적 상관을 보였다. 다섯째, 대학생의 자아존중감은 SNS 중독경향성에 부적 영향을 미쳤으며, 불안정 애착 중 애착불안만이 중독경향성에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로, 대학생의 신분적 특성에 따른 SNS 중독 위험성에 대하여 논의하였다.

개인주의-집단주의 성향에 따른 의복 행동, 의복 추구 이미지의 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on Difference of Clothing Behavior and Desired Image by Individualism-Collectivism)

  • This paper aimed to investigate the difference of clothing behavior and desired image according to individualism-collectivism cultural tendency for women. A survey of 217 adult women was conducted from November to December 2006, mainly in Daegu. Reliability, frequency, percentage, factor analysis, ANOVA, t-test, Tukey test and an -analysis were used for data analysis by using SPSS WIN 11.0 package. The results were as follows: First, while the group with a higher tendency toward individualism valued personality and convenience above everything else, the group which has a higher tendency to collectivism disposition has a much greater interested in conformity and brand-orientation. Second, while the group with a higher tendency toward individualism pursued an bold image for their clothing, the group with a higher tendency toward collectivism preferred a feminine and plain image. Third, regarding the individualism-collectivism and demographic peculiarity, there were no significant differences between the two groups according to marital status and average monthly income. However, there were significant differences in individualism-collectivism among the groups determined by age, occupation, educational background and rural or urban background.

중국여성의 쇼핑성향이 유통채널 선택요인 및 한국화장품 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of the Shopping Propensity of Chinese Women on Determination Factors of Distribution Channels and Purchasing Patterns of Korean Cosmetics)

  • This study intended to investigate correlations between the consumption tendency, determination factors of the distribution of Korean cosmetics, and purchasing patterns of Korean cosmetics. This study investigated characteristics and differences between each factor by analyzing consumption tendency, determination factors of distribution channels, and purchasing patterns of Korean cosmetics of adult women in their 20 ~ 50s who have used Korean cosmetics and reside in Beijing, China. It also, investigated the effect of the shopping propensity of consumers on determination factors of the distribution channels and purchasing patterns of Korean cosmetics. According to the results of our investigation, it was identified that 'pleasure-seeking tendency' and 'brand-seeking tendency' have postive effects on 'service', and 'pleasure-seeking tendency', 'brand-seeking tendency', and 'rational purchasing propensity' have positive effects on 'professionalism'. In regards to the effect of shopping propensity on purchasing patterns of Korean cosmetics, it was identified that 'brand-seeking tendency' has a positive effect on 'planned purchasing behavior', 'brand reputation seeking behavior', and 'dedicated purchasing behavior'. It was verified that 'rational purchasing propensity' has positive effect on 'planned purchasing behavior', 'pleasure-seeking tendency' and 'trend-seeking tendency' on 'brand reputation seeking behavior', and 'trend-seeking tendency' on 'dedicated purchasing behavior'. This study is expected to provide basic data for Korean cosmetics brands to use for improving the marketing of products entering the Chinese market by using appropriate distribution channels. These channels are determined through identifying the correlation of each factor consumption tendency of Chinese women, determination factors of the distribution channels Korean cosmetics, and purchasing patterns of Korean cosmetics.

진도견의 creatine kinase 활성치와 isoenzyme (Creatine Kinase and its Isoenzymes in Jindo Dogs)

  • This study was performed to investigate the serum creative kinase(CK) activity and CK isoenzyme in Jindo dog. Serum CK activity and CK-isoenzyme were analyzed in 53 Jindo dogs of both sexes. The mean value and normal range of serum CK activity were 24.1 lu/$\ell$ and 7-91 lu/$\ell$, respectively, in 29 female dogs, 24.8 lu/$\ell$ and 8-89 lu/$\ell$ in 24 male dogs. The CK activity of the Puppy showed a tendency to be higher than that of the adult. There was no significance between Puppy and adult. Three isoenzymes (CK-MM, CK- BB, and CK-MB) were recognized in serum. The mean percentages of female and male were as follows: 48.31fp and 48.1% for CK-MM, 35.49) and 33.61fp for CK-BB, and 8.2% and 10.1% for CK-MB in the puppy and 46.21% and 46.1 % for CK-MM, 36.3% and 37.6% for CK-BB and 10.5% and 9.5% for CK-MB in the adult.

성인자녀가 지각하는 부모양육태도가 결혼관에 미치는 영향: 성역할인식의 매개효과 (Influence of Parenting Style as Perceived by Adult Child on Perspective of Marriage: The Mediation Effect of Recognize Gender Roles)

  • This study use the influences of parenting style as perceived by and adult child and recognizes gender roles for the purpose of marriage perspectives. I provided a general tendency of parenting style as perceived by and adult child, recognize gender roles, and perspective of marriage to achieve the established goals. We analyzed the relative influence of socio-demographic characteristics, parenting style as perceived by and adult child and recognize gender roles for marriage perspectives. Finally, parenting style as perceived by and adult child are recognized gender roles mediated by the investigated influence of marriage perspectives. We used a structured questionnaire that targeted unmarried men and women 20 to 30 years of age to verify the this study. Data analysis used SPSS ver. 19.0; in addition, we performed reliability, frequency analysis, t-test, hierarchical regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, and variance inflation factor. Looking at these results, both adult children had a higher perception of rearing parents with the usual recognition of gender roles. The analysis indicated a conservative perspective of marriage. Adult children of mothers rearing and recognize gender roles sub-area of masculinity and femininity are perceived to be a significant change observed in marriage perspectives in addition to socio-demographic characteristics of gender and education. However, the relationship between parenting style, as perceived by adult child and marriage perspectives and as analyzed by recognize gender roles, did not have a mediating effect.

Impacts of self-monitoring tendency and mobile phone dependency on salence of mobile phone case product attributes

  • Prevalent usage of mobile devices among consumers has been well recognized and this is especially imperative among young adult consumers. The mobile phone became the gateway of their communication, media consumption, retail transaction, education, and (virtual) social life. However, there is little empirical research explaining the dynamics behind the psychological underpinning of young adult consumers, specifically Generation Y, to understand their usages and dependency on mobile phones. This study, therefore, aims to unveil antecedents and consequences of Gen Y consumers' mobile phone dependency from a media psychological perspective. We developed a conceptual model based on theory of self-monitoring (Snyder 1974, 1987), extended self-concept (Belk, 1988), and media dependency theory (Ball-Rokeach & Defluer, 1976). Four hundred ninety-eight students in the U.S. provided usable responses to our pencil-and-paper survey. Causal modeling analysis results demonstrated that both ability to modify one's behavior and sensitivity to cues for social appropriate behavior dimensions of the self-monitoring tendency positively predicted one's level of fashion involvement, which in turn positively predicted his/her mobile phone dependency. Individual's mobile phone dependency, fashion involvement and self-monitoring's ability dimension exhibited positive and direct impact on one's perception of the salience of mobile phone case product attributes. Based on the findings, we provided pragmatic and theoretical implications for the industry and academia.

신세대 남성 패션 매니아에 관한 연구 (A Study of Male Fashion Mania in New Generation)

  • The purposes of this study are to classify the male consumers in new generation by evaluating the fashion mania elements and to examine the differences among consumer groups in product attributes, benefits, dressing for self and others, and sensation seeking tendency. Fashion mania elements are compose of purchase frequency, the storage of clothes, the affection toward clothes and fashion knowledge. Data were obtained from 492 adult male living in Seoul and Kyunggi Do. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, means, one-way Anova, Duncan's multiple range test, factor analysis, cluster analysis using Spss 9.0. The results can be summarized as follows: There consumer groups are identified based on the fashion mania elements: fashion mania, fashion interests, non-fashion mania. The fashion mania group has positive fashion behavior and high fashion attitude, the fashion interests group has high fashion attitude and light fashion behavior, non fashion mania group has light fashion attitude and behavior. Fashion mania group regard intrinsic attributes very highly in order to express individuality, shows the tendency to dress for self strongly rather than to dress for others. And fashion mania group shows a high sensation seeking tendency compared with the remaining groups.

학령전기 아동의 스마트폰 중독경향과 문제행동 및 어머니 양육효능감과의 관계 (Relationships Among Preschoolers' Smartphone Addiction Tendency, Their Problem Behaviors, and Parenting Efficacy of Their Mothers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among preschoolers' smartphone addiction tendency, problem behaviors, and parenting efficacy of the mothers of these children. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive study design was used with self-administered questionnaires. A total of 83 mothers of preschoolers aged 4-6 years and their preschool teachers from a kindergarten participated in the study. Results: Mean daily time spent by the preschoolers on smartphones was about 45 minutes/day. About 40% spent more than 60 minutes/day on smartphones. The majority (69.8%) used smartphones without adult supervision. The level of smartphone addiction tendency among the preschoolers was $1.52{\pm}0.45$ on a 4-point scale. Preschoolers whose mothers use smartphones for more than 60 minutes/day showed a higher level of smartphone addiction tendency than preschoolers whose mothers use smartphones for less than 60 minutes/day. Also smartphone addiction tendency among preschoolers had a positive correlation with hyperactive-distractible behavior (r=.228, p=.038) and a negative correlation with parenting efficacy of their mothers (r=-.299, p=.006). Conclusion: Our findings demonstrated that preschooler's smartphone addiction tendency is significantly associated with hyperactive-distractible behaviors of the children and low parenting efficacy among their mothers. Therefore well-designed care plans for these populations should be provided to decrease smartphone addiction tendency.

선택적 함구증 환아 어머니의 성인애착유형 (Adult Attachment Style in Mothers of Children with Selective Mutism)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the adult attachment style characteristics of mothers with selective mutism children and their relations to selective mutism. Methods :The subjects of this study were 15 mothers with selective mutism children who were diagnosed by DSM-IV criteria at psychiatry outpatient department of Kyungpook National University Hospital from March 1998 to February 2005. The controls of this study were 30 mothers with normal children who are in the second grade of elementary school in Daegu. We assessed the adult attachment style characteristics of these mothers by Revised Adult Attachment Scale, and Reciprocal Attachment Questionnaire-Korean version, self-report attachment style questionnaire. Results : 1) On the self-report attachment style questionnaire, it revealed that mothers with selective mutism children had both of the secure and the dismissing-avoidant types predominantly and the tendency that mothers with selective mutism children more commonly had dismissing-avoidant type than controls did. 2) On the comparison of attachment quality of mothers, although only the anxiety subscale difference was significant, it revealed that mothers with selective mutism children had generally lower score pattern in all of closeness, dependence and anxiety subscale than controls did. It was consistent with the consequence of self-report attachment style questionnaire in this study. Conclusion : This study showed that the distribution of adult attachment style of mothers with selective mutism children was different from those of controls. The dismissing-avoidant attachment style was predominant in mothers with selective mutism children. we suppose the possibility that the dismissing-avoidant attachment style of mothers with selective mutism children has relation with selective mutism.
