의료서비스 품질요인이 감정과 지각된 가치에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -자아규제초점의 조절효과를 중심으로- (The Effect of the Medical Service Quality and Emotion on Perceived Value - Focused on Moderating Effect of Regulatory Focus Theory-)

  • Prior research in medical service field have mainly focused on service quality, satisfaction, and choice attributes of hospital. However, a little research has been done on "Which service quality attributes are more preferred by customer motivation(customer regulatory focus)". This study examines how regulatory focus affects the structural impact relationships of service quality and emotion(quiescence) on perceived value in medical service context. Especially, this research draws the moderating effects of regulatory focus between medical service quality, emotion, and perceived value. The Results were summarized as follows: The relative impacts of medical service quality on customer emotion are different depending upon the regulatory focus. Hospital reputation is shown to be more important factors in prevention-oriented customer, while physical environment is the case in promotion-oriented customer. The relative impacts of medical service quality and emotion on perceived value are different depending upon the regulatory focus. Hospital reputation, convenience, and accessibility are shown to be more important factors in promotion-oriented customer, while physical environment is more important in prevention-oriented customer. Also, emotion has a positive influence on perceived value in prevention-oriented customer, whereas the effect of emotion is not significant in promotion-oriented customer.

  • 최근 국내 초고속 인터넷 서비스가 대부분의 가정에서 이용하는 보편적인 서비스로 자리를 잡게 됨에 따라 사업자들 간의 가입자 유치 경쟁도 점점 더 치열해지고 있다. 사업자들 간의 출혈경쟁을 줄이고 수익성을 높이기 위해서는 기존 고객의 충성도를 높이는 방어적인 마케팅 전략이 효과적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 설문 조사를 통해 초고속 인터넷 서비스의 충성도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 도출하였다. 분석결과, 서비스 자체의 품질 및 애프터 서비스에 대한 만족 정도가 서비스의 충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 실무자들에게 고객 전략에 대한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the factors forming perceived service convenience, and to investigate structural relationships among perceived service convenience, job satisfaction, trust, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in the healthcare service industries. The result analyzing on the hypothesis of this study was as follows. First, service convenience had positively influence job satisfaction, trust, and organizational commitment. Second, the job satisfaction had positively influence on the trust, and the trust had positively influence on the organizational commitment. Third, it was found that the variables of job satisfaction, the trust, and the organizational commitment negatively influenced on the turnover intention. Based on these results, theoretical implications for relevant researchers and managerial implications for healthcare service operation and internal marketing strategy were discussed.

서비스 제공자와 서비스 이용자 간의 서비스품질에 관한 인식 차이 연구 - 대학 행정서비스를 중심으로 - (A Study of Perceptual Difference about Service Quality between Service Providers and Users - Focused on the Administrative Services of University -)

  • A study for service quality is actively done but that for the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider for the same service, and for the difference in quality level of service use recognized by the service user is not relatively widely done. Thus, this study analyzed difference between the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider and the quality level of service use recognized by the service user, around administrative service as one of cores of the university service, and examined how difference between both service qualities have effect on business the business satisfaction level of the service provider. We measured the service level provided by the individual in charge of the administrative service of the A-university and examined the service quality in business by use of questionnaires. As the result, it was appeared that the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider for the same service quality was higher than the quality level of service use recognized by the service user. In addition, it was found that the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider had a significant effect on the service provider's business satisfaction level but the quality level of service use recognized by the service user had not effect on the business satisfaction level of the provider.

  • In the last ten years, manufacturing companies like GE, IBM, Motorola and service companies like GE Capital and CITIBANK have realized that Six Sigma has standed for quality reform movemant. Six Sigma management which makes the critic effects on the quality management have enlarged and applied office indirect work process and service department as well beyond question manufacturing process. Then Can Six Sigma application methodology from manufacturing industry be applied to service industry without transformation? Can Six Sigma be applied on improvement of Information system quality which is the critic key figure of current successful companies? These questions would be resolved by conducting researches about application and evaluation of Six Sigma on manufacturing industry and service industry.   • The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between service quality satisfactions according to tourists' preference and segmentation by various motivations. Data were collected from 442 farm stay visitors by field surveys in rural areas. A factor-clustering method identified three distinct segments; want-it-all, overall low motivation, relaxation. MANOVA was used to examine the differences of service quality satisfaction for farm stay visitors' preference and segmentation by motivation. Results show that the type of guest room more significantly influenced farm stay visitors' satisfaction according to those three clusters. It should be noted that we have information on the characteristics and type of satisfaction of the consumers in order to improve the quality of farmstay's service in rural tourism.

  • Recently, the number of smartphone users has skyrocketed because of a plenty of useful services that smartphone applications provide. In the Information Systems (IS) literature, however, there has been little understanding about the effects of the service quality of smatphone applications on user satisfaction and loyalty. Thereby, this study examined 1) the effects of the service quality of smartphone applications on users beliefs, perceived usefulness and easiness and 2) the effects of the user beliefs as mediating variables on users' attitude, satisfaction, and loyalty. A survey was conducted and SEM was employed to analyze the data. The results showed that the service quality of smartphone applications affect users' attitude, satisfaction, and loyalty through the mediating variables.

How Trust in Human-like AI-based Service on Social Media Will Influence Customer Engagement: Exploratory Research to Develop the Scale of Trust in Human-like AI-based Service

  • This research is on how people's trust in human-like AI-based service will influence customer engagement (CE). This study will discuss the relationship between trust and CE and explore how people's trust in AI affects CE when they lack knowledge of the company/brand. Items from the philosophical study of trust were extracted to build a scale suitable for trust in AI. The scale's reliability was ensured, and six components of trust in AI were merged into three dimensions: trust based on Quality Assurance, Risk-taking, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Trust based on quality assurance and risk-taking is verified to positively impact customer engagement, and the feelings about AI-based service fully mediate between all three dimensions of trust in AI and CE. The new trust scale for human-like AI-based services on social media sheds light on further research. The relationship between trust in AI and CE provides a theoretical basis for subsequent research.

통신서비스 품질을 고려한 신규 통신서비스 가입 시기에 대한 연구 (Optimal 3G Telecommunication Service Switching Time Considering Telecommunication Quality of Service)

  • This paper examines when a consumer in existent telecommunication 2G applies to new telecommunication service 3G from the viewpoint of an option pricing theory. To improve telecommunication quality of service, the consumer applies to 3G. The application means an exchange of 2G for 3G with extra costs such as searching and conversion costs. Since the option to exchange is a right that the consumer can exercise or not, application to 3G is deemed an exercise of the option to exchange at most suitable value of the option. The timing to exercise the option depends on the extra costs and the additional communication benefit from new telecommunication quality of service. These affect an optimal timing to apply to 3G. The optimal applying or switching timing to 3G is when an economic value of the option to exchange is equal to an economic value of the extra costs plus the additional telecommunication quality from new telecommunication service. The option analysis used in this paper is applicable to various industries.

의료서비스 품질, 서비스 가치, 고객만족 및 고객충성도 간의 인과관계 (Causal Relationships among Quality, Service Value, Satisfaction and Loyalty)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the causal relationships among quality of health care service, service value, satisfaction and loyalty as perceived by hospital inpatients. Methods: A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 654 hospital inpatients. Analysis of the data was done with both SPSS Win 17.0 for descriptive statistics and AMOS 18.0 for the structural equation model. Results: The modified model yielded Chi-square=7.96 (p=.019), df=2, $x^2$/df=3.98, GFI=.99, AGFI=.96, RMSEA=.07, NFI=.99, CFI=.99, TLI=.98 and showed good fit indices. Three dimensions of quality had significant direct effects on service value. Functional quality, technical quality and service value had significant direct effects on customer satisfaction. Technical quality, service value, and customer satisfaction had significant direct effects on customer loyalty. Conclusion: These results suggest that quality of health care is an important element in service value, and through both quality and service value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty can be enhanced. Further study with a larger sample from various hospitals and a longitudinal design is necessary.
